These stamps are so real looking. If I hadn't just watched you make them in front of my eyes, so to speak, I wouldn't know that they weren't the real thing. I love watching your videos. You dedicate your time to show your subbies how to make such beautiful peices. Some times you struggle and yet go on and meet your challenges and I so appreciate you and the giving of your time for us, your subbies. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Recently I've not been able to do much physically as I've pulled a mussel lifting to many and way to heavy of boxes while moving, but your videos and the other crafters making j j's give me something to keep my mind occupied while my body recoveres. That little noise is so insugnitive that if it bothers anyone they need to just skip over it or just go and don't watch. I absolutely dislike negativity of this kind.
I love listening to you talk, I could listen all day! Lol. The scissors aren't that loud and it doesn't matter. It is all part of the process. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts, art, stories, and craft! I just think it is all great. I look forward to seeing each and every video.
I have a cup of coffee in the morning, then watch you to see what you’re up to. You never disappoint. Love these stamps. You can use up a bunch of scraps. Thanks for all your helpful videos. I’m pretty new to all of this so I’m soaking up all your wonderful ideas.
I love the scissor noise. Cutting or tearing paper is a sweet noise to me. Thanks for this. I have been wanting to do some stamps. Searched and you popped up.
Ohmygosh Rachel...they are super cute! I have made some awhile back. But that was before I started lovin vintage. So, I used brighter colored papers and fabrics. Now, you've inspired me to make more, and in the vintage style!! I love all the different choices of butterflies, birds etc. you have. And that little box is just beautiful...!! Thanks for the share! Hugs n Luv 💕 Suzy x
Tried these today -- lots of fun, and yes, great way to use up scraps. I also cut the patterned paper on top with the "stamp" scissors and they looked quite nice too.
I was saying Stop, Stop when you were stamping but you didn't listen to me and YOU WERE RIGHT!. They are beautiful and they look real! Can't wait to make some. Thanks
I love making faux stamps. So easy and so much fun. Use your wide washi tape! I cut the piece of washi, add it to my choice of background paper and then cut around the piece. As another person commented, these are addictive!
I just love these stamps and the idea of using all the "littlies" I watch your video channel just a few weeks ago for the first time, and I have now become hooked. You are such a talented and creative crafter, I stand in awe. I am now catching up with your older videos and enjoying them just as much. Thank you for the inspiration and (for me) new ideas. Blessings and hugs from Cape Town. Diana
The ones with the busy backgrounds especially the blue ones are beautiful just as they are without any addition. I think they look like tiles like we have here in New Mexico
Rachel, I love this idea of making your own faux stamps. I'm having so much fun with these and can't seem to stop. I love all your videos and ideas. Keep them coming, no pressure!!!
I really love that you always improvise if you don't have the right "tool" for the job. I got so wrapped up in trying to have all the right stuff to use and it got really expensive and I kind of lost the spontaneity because I was always looking for the dang thing I needed!! Anyways.... love your vids, I laugh when stuff gets stuck to your fingers, I do the very same thing! I'm glad that I'm not alone in this crazy glue stick world!
I was lost in thought and staring at your table at about 5:30 minutes while you worked and I realized that your whole desk in its chaos is a beautiful work of art. You have a true gift as well as talent for discovering beauty in little and inconsequential things and transforming them into art.
These look like great fun and I really like how they turned out! I think I might have glued a bunch of small squares down to a base page first and then cut around them rather than fitting a piece to a cut base. But then I usually do the opposite of the way others do it!
They turned out great for your first attempt..I bought a stamp die that was on sale at spotlight awhile back..this looks easier than mucking around with those..live and learn..🌷
Fantastic! I have some flowers that I have been avoiding fussy cutting because I thought they were too small to do much with, now I have a purpose for them. Thanks :-)
I have lots of Laura Ashley magazines, and in the back are small, rectangular swatches of each fabric. They're perfect for glueing on top of some book text and then using an inked postmark. Thanks for sharing.
I'm trying to watch all the video's of yours that I've never seen and I'm up by 4:30am to l00k for new ones~ now I need to look for your sisters. I'm so new to all this computer watching and I have you and PAPER POST "PAM" THAT I watch and I can't get enough... on my way now to HOBBY LOBBY to buy some post stamp pads... just love them so much. Much love from Meridian Idaho... 2 miles away from BOISE
I like making these and they are so addictive... Yours are gorgeous, no need to be nervous at all... It took me awhile to use what I had made, but it is time to do some more... I am curious to see what others keep and I only wish you had gone a little slower so I could have seen easier... haha... and that box, it is to die for Rachel.... absolutely love it... I must do that course one day... Have a goodun, Hugs and Blessings...
Yes i realised afterwards i needed to bring my camera down a little closer. I did a tutorial how to make the ruffley box here ua-cam.com/video/yJJ8KPdTwCQ/v-deo.html. Thank you so much!
Oooh these are so cool, Rachel. Especially love the ones with the Traci mini bits on them. The rubber stamping totally pulled them together. You’ve made me want to pull out my postal stamps. I have a *few* 😉🤗
They came together beautifully! You really do need to have a good supply of little bits and bobs for decorating though - which I currently don’t, so these will have to sit on my to-do list for a while. Fun video, thanks, Rachel. 🤗
When UA-cam throws up an older video... Yes, I'd rather rewatch Rachel than most of the others!
🤷🏻♀️🤣👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽💐
Hahaha, thank you so much!
If people are complaining about the noise scissors make they have issues. Love your videos and all that you create! You are a true pleasure!
Thank you so much!
