  • This video will walk you through how to execute an authentic centuries old European white washed oak finish inspired by 18th century Swedish Gustavian antiques. From the best way to remove the existing finish, how to make your own milk paint from scratch (this gives you more control and cost pennies compared to commercial brands), tinting your milk paint, applying the finish, distressing, and secret methods to antiquing the milk paint finish. For more in depth tutorials on milk paint finishes and patina techniques, check out my other videos on my channel. I don't understand the part with wet distressing. You said to pounce the cloth to redistribute the milk paint all over. This is after you do wet distressing right? What parts do you wet distress? And then you take the milk paint that is in the cloth from the wet distressing and redistribute that back all over the piece? Thank in advance for clearing this up for me ❤
