Had it for a couple days now, I don’t have my license but I’ve been taking it for spins around the block and it rides pretty nice. A bit rattly though, and it seems like they forgot to do the PD on mine because there was a missing engine bolt on it brand new *-* clutch lever also feels loose but I took it apart and it turns out there’s small gap between it and the mounting part on the handlebar which allows it to have a lot of play. A very thin washer should be able to fix it though, all in all it’s great but it’s definitely worth having a look at everything and just making sure it’s all put together right.
Great video mate. Was about to drop money on one of these to learn on. But it being Chinese, the customer reviews, the fact it’s air cooled and the history of the company. I decided against it and instead dropped 4K on a brand new bike from a more established brand. Probs will outgrow my purchase but it’s early days. And I have piece of mind.
@@ioanbugheanu6836 I got a 2019 KTM Duke 200, had it shipped to me and everything. It’s okay, amazing around town, and a torque monster. I just wished I got the 2020 model (looks meaner). But actually I wish I got something a little more powerful altogether cause you can’t really highway it.
@@VictoriaStobbie I had similar concerns and I bought a Honda CB125E to learn on. After researching it I didn't want to risk having any serious mechanical failures on the bike. The larger brands have entire teams dedicated to safety assurance, and a long history behind them. I wouldn't mind getting one of these bikes in the future, but I would likely only ever use it for riding around town and not for longer highway commutes, which would put more stress on the parts. Hopefully over time, the brand builds a sollid reputation, it would be great to have an Australian born brand in the market.
Get something in 350cc-500cc range for anything smallish that'll be regularly on highways. The lower the top speed, the higher the revs are gonna be when you're doing 100kph, the more the engine is going to be worn down and burn through fuel etc. Bigger is better lol
@@Tempcitz I'm in USA, the company that sells those here are called CSC. I'm guessing I can get some average ones and do the same thing. And now we can finally get the cyclone 400 here as well so I'm debating which one to get. I will be brand new to riding, no experience yet, so I'm thinking the 250 is the better option for me.
Nah looking back at the footage I think they were just hidden by the saddlebags 😅 but with the cafe seat, they would be sitting on a bump which isn't good
Everything is Chinese so we took drop the china thing Honda Kawasaki suzu yami this basically a Suzuki tu250x sold in America with fuel injection engine😊
Definitely do a scrambler build! Hanging out to see a good looking budget built scrambler!
consider my arm twisted
"I've paid almost that on an exhaust before" hahahahahha love it
Mines coming today, can’t wait. You definitely gotta make a scrambled build, that would be sick
That's awesome! And very keen to indeed

WOW! that's suuuper affordable.. Might even get one myself in the future.
Lets GOOO cheap scrambler build!!! We wanna see it!!!
Ahaha love the enthusiasm! Let em know you're keen, send a message!
I’ve recently ordered mine can’t wait to get mine, sounds awesome
A scrambler build would be pretty cool
What do you think for someone full license as a get around bike. Just going work and local.
Like your channel, looking to get back into riding. How does this compare with the Sol Mercury 250
I could be wrong, but I'm under the impression that they're almost the same bike
No abs ,carby ,Chinese, you can buy mt03 for 9k and husky 401 for 8k or even a grom for 6k.why would you buy this junk at 1/4 of the build quality
Because theyre $2.5k?
I live in NSW Blue mountains how is the power would it cope with steep hills and 80-100kph highways
Wouldn't recommend it lol

you will most likely buy this then sell it within 2 months and will want to upgrade ..... so many for sale with low KM
Great review. Now I just need to find the cash somehow...
Thinking of buying one. Any advice? What about carby for long term?
Carbys are alright, need maintenance, but they work
Simple wack arounds with a rider how would that go?
yoo scrambler build for sure..
Get it for the missus's is a good excuse to get it you'll end up using it more lol
Glued together with the tears of indentured Chinese labour
Like the phone you used to write this ?
@@Spencebehere73 pretty clever! But no, Samsung closed their Chinese manufacturing plants a few years ago
If U believe they ain't using slave labour still then U got rocks in ya head
Hey temp, I just ordered one for my first bike. Are they a bit of a POS or are they reliable enough for a few years?
Get around the Braaap owners facebook group, there's a lot of people that love them and common fixes, and also some fair criticisms there
I'm looking after Braap 250cc, can anyone suggest me that should I buy or alternate options?
could you do a review on the Moto3?
It's on the cards, just gotta wait for ome to be available to ride, I think there's a few people in like to get theirs sorted first
How tall are you? Is this comfortable for a lanky guy?
We have this in the Philippines its the Rusi Classic 250
$3000 for this thing. Not a good deal.
What kind of saddlebags are those and how are they connected to the bike?
They are the ones Braaap sell, I'd assume they're attached under the seat

What's the top speed ?

Nah its in Melbourne! I used to live in seafood though!
I think it maybe seaford Victoria big fella, where you riding up from Frankston way
@@jszordan Ahhh yep gotcha, it is around seaford Vic :')
What is the milage
Any chance to find this bike on the US?
Yep - check out the SG-250 from CSC Motorcycles.
So no pegs for a pillion? Can you add? Would be good to throw a kid in the back for a cafe run.
Nah looking back at the footage I think they were just hidden by the saddlebags 😅 but with the cafe seat, they would be sitting on a bump which isn't good
There's pegs and you can upgrade to a flat seat if you're really keen to haul a mate 👍
Where'd you get those saddlebags bro? I just got my st250 and definitely need some
Braaap sell them!
I want one so bad
Sadly long travel is not possible on this :(
Braap have been sharing the story on their instagram of a bloke travelling around Australia on his!

Be lucky to hold 100 with a big downhill and a wind pushing u down
Ha ha! More like 10.
