Idk if modern day babylon is a band or if it's just this one guys composing everything but his writing and phrasing is unreal. And I'm of course in love with the tool of choice that skervesen is amazing.
This song kept me alive when I was facing my depression on the ship two years ago.

So i hiked a 5000 footer here in new Hampshire today and played this and this song fits absolutely perfect the amazing veiws being on top of a mountain even more unreal when your jamming to this a huge escape from reality.

@@andrewwhitmore8756 Rochester, NH here - all about progressive music. This band is just absolute phenomenal. Love Gru, Widek, some Periphery, Animals as Leaders, and so many more. Been a long time fan of Dream Theater of course. My favorite band(s) and biggest influences over the past few years have been Fallujah and Scar Symmetry - really into the melodic/progressive death metal stuff.
I've listened to a lot of music... but, man... the melodic hook that shows up in this song, and the prior song on the album (Coma - title track) is absolutely amazing. I keep coming back to it.

Amazing stuff!! Y'all are one of the few bands that consistently puts out good stuff. Stuff that's diverse and doesn't feel samey, but is always incredibly musical. More djent bands need to be like you.
