All amazing football stadiums Russia will lift aiming the 2018 World Cup. Today (Dec. 2) Russia was chosen to host the event.
I don't understand all the hate around Russia hosting the world cup. I mean we were warned the sochi olympics would be an epic fail, but they were perfectly organized with no racist or homophobic incidents. So why can't we just be happy for the hosting nation and stop calling for the senseless boycott ?

How about a FIFA World Cup in Oceania instead of Russia?? FIFA can use Australia and the pacific islands near Australia (Fiji, New Zealand, Indonesia, etc) as World Cup locations for 2018. This way, people will be able to travel to different islands in the Oceania region of the world and have an amazing World Cup experience

@0:30 The World Cup only takes place in Eastern Russia. They completely left out the rest of Russia as if it didn't even exist. There are cities that would have been large enough to host it there, so I think it's a shame.

Russia wasn't my first choice for 2018 hosts, but they'll be ready, have a decent team and put on a good show. Unlike, say, Qatar.

Just like the English press kept trying to say England was the favorite to win, even though vegas said other-wise. FIFA all but told England straight out that "Opening up new markets is a goal of FIFA". You also neglect the $50 billion in infrastructure, not counting the $12 billion to build new stadiums and the fact that Sochi has proven Russia can do it in time.

I almost agree, but i got still some downsides with the world cup in russia:
1: If there is a heatwave, it can be very hot.
2: Russia has a to good guards, sometimes you have to wait long.
3: Qatar may be hot, but it mostly makes good ice cream. (Maybe)

The football in Russia is only improving today. These stadiums would give a chance to local teams. Dont know will it be the best world cup or not but russians did their best! Fans in Moskow are more better than others.( dont think that i am from russia
@Badgerjohn27 I think that is an unfair comment, while Qatar doesn't have strong team I believe they still will put on a good show. You don't have to have a good team to host the sport you just have to have a nation with a strong interest in the sport and from what I know Qatar does.

Not too excited about Russia. Only two stadiums can hold more than 60,000 people. Fifa should've gave it to the USA. We have a lot of stadiums that can hold 90,000-110,000 people. What a shame!!

But in Europe football is watched very much and thats why russia got it.
