Recently I headed to the beach with a group of friends to go and have some FUN, so for this week's vlog, I thought i'd take you guys along for the ride behind Laragh's (keen) ears.
What more could you want than your horse, a beautiful beach and friends to share it with. I mean, maybe a spot of sunshine would have been nice, but you can't have it all!
So tell me, do you have any beaches that you like to ride on near you? Or is it your dream to ride on the beach?

Laragh was so good I think she enjoyed it.
That took me back girls galloping the race horses on the beach loved it. Your lovely horse took a nice hold there we used snaffles all the time some had cross nose bands on that were pullers loved every time we got down to the beach. You guys had great fun shame the young girl got dumped but she was ok that’s the main thing. Tfs😎
When you said “team canter” my heart filled with joy this is amazing and my dream to have a group of friends like this and get away from the world for just a moment. Thank you for bringing this to me ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Canter on the waters edge otherwise the beach is like cantering down a road .Hope you all had fun the horses had a goodtime .

Holkham Beach that's where all the King's Guardsmen & women go for 3 wks of mandatory attendance for some refresher courses & have plenty of time to bond w/the horses they mount. From playing in the sea/bay or doing some coordinated KG horses & riders drill(s) training..

Believe its the 1st 3 weeks of every July. (Can tell when by who is on guard at Horse Garden)

i am lucky enough to live about 20 minutes from a lovely long horse friendly beach!

I'm very late to the party, but this was the perfect vlog to watch on a day when the weather kept me from riding my horse. Laragh looked like she would run out of sand before she ran out of gallop! What an amazing place to ride!
Posh was like I'm going in with my rider but I will without 😂 hope she's ok

@@helena5649 Cheeky little pony! It all happened pretty quickly - the rider was just shaken up and a bit wet. They all enjoyed the long gallop though! I thought Laraghlee and the chestnut would go in after their gallop!

Ooooh that poor girl arsing off! At least it was a bit of a soft landing....I had a second of unmitigated terror at the thought of Posh blithely galloping off into the mists 🤣 thankfully he sought comfort with his mates.
Bonnie is such a little heartbreaker, so sweet 😊
I live by a beach, Marazion by St Michael's Mount. Horses use the beach for rides, when I get a horse I will also be using the beach for riding!
we sometimes jump the break waters at the beach! so much fun. usually have a bit of a school then a gallop to finish off :)

Talacre, North Wales and Southport, England are great beaches for horses!

That looked such fun. Brilliant to share it with friends. I never got to the beach when I had my boy 🙁 but I did keep him for 23 years in the heart of The New Forest so I had fabulous riding in all directions outside the yard gate. Thank you for taking us along. What an amazing beach!

That is what I call free hydrotherapy who needs a water treadmill when you and if you can go to the beach and salt water is good for there hooves and legs looked like fun and there was you saying you won’t get her in the water so thank you for taking us along
The beach closest to me is an hour and a half away. But it’s super busy, year round. But there’s a lake not even 45mins away from us, that I plan to ride on the shore at least, if I ever get a chance.

Another fun fun Vlog! Love the beach you went to! Lots of wet sand to exercise on! I'm a firm believer in the saltwater Therapy. I use to ride on the Salinas, California beach with my mare, India (AQHA) eons ago. Now, I'm on the high desert of N.E Nevada and sadly no beaches for my warmblood x Arab mare, Noodles. Glad to hear you are eager to ride your beautiful Irish Sport horse, Laraugh on the beach.. Safe riding!☺

Wasn't there a danger of suddenly encountering a deep part considering it was low tide and the beach had already receded so far out? Your beach is fantastic albeit overcast and cold. Where I come from we've got practically eternal summers. I sometimes long for beaches like Holkham...This is a very nice and entertaining video. Well done.

Great vlog Lucy. Your friends were really brave going so far out in the sea. Ivd always wanted to go to the beach with my horse, when I had her. I'm quite close to a beach, but unfortunately it's not nearly as nice as yours. I love that Bonnie wants your attention all the time now, she is so sweet xx

I don’t have a horse. But I’m getting one after lockdown but I have a beach about 5 minutes away from my house I ride at a riding school and we go on trecks all the time in the summer time I’m from Ireland xx
Very lucky to live on the Atlantic coast in France - I've got a wonderful choice of beaches but the best one with the least amount of people is La Cote Sauvage near La Palmyre. It really is the wild side!
We go to a local lake which I can ride to from my barn. I ride that trail a couple times a week when I’m not schooling my mare. My nearest ocean is about 2 hours away, I’ve only ridden it a handful of times. I loved this video! Horses and beach time are the best! Ps. I hope your friend is alright after her fall. I live in by state forest and national parks, and am only 15 mins to the beach. We are heading into summer so I’ll be going there a lot now. Loved the video ❤️

I absolutely love Holkham beach😍 it’s literally my favourite place to be! Except for the fact it’s a 3 hour journey for us🙈
Formby beach for us 🏝 leg yield into the water used to work a treat on my old pony who didn’t like waves... it’s like he didn’t notice we were gradually getting deeper 😅
I live in Australia and go to the beach with my ott Tb for fun and training for endurance and eventing
It was always my dream to ride on the beach, after many years I finally managed to do it, cantering through the surf, it certainly lived up to my expectations!! 💓

We love beach riding and go weekly if not more, but our beach is only a 10 - 15minute drive away. We also have 2 different private race tracks that we can use for training, both have very different environments. Very spoilt for variety here in NZ.

I was on a beach ride in Spain when I fell off ... out cold for 20 mins scary
We have beaches. But they are all stones. No sand well not where I live anyway. My daughter would love to take her pony on a beach like that.

Im in aus and the beach we go to u need a permit n blah blah blah but its 1.5 hours away and i made a video recently of our adventure there if u want to watch it, was super fun and terrifying hahah
