We had damage at our home in Central Florida from both Helene and Milton, but like you, we too are blessed to be alive. We just returned from North Carolina and Tennessee and saw first hand the devastation there. It is so, so bad. The pictures don't show the reality of it all. It is something etched in my mind and my heart that I will never forget. So many lives lost. So many still missing. But you know, Jesus is walking there with those folks on the feet of thousands of ordinary Americans and others who are going into those communities to help them. And I want to add God is moving there as well. Like you I ask that everyone keep praying for NC and TN and please don't forget them. Donate if you can to help. Welcome back Tammy. Oh wow! God surely did bless you and your immediate neighbors. Those trees fell just perfectly when it's so obvious it could have been so much worse. We had quite a bit of damage in our area in central SC but no trees down around our home or our immediate neighbors either. Then just a few houses down the road any way you went trees were down everywhere power was out for us about 5 days but we had a generator. For our area it was so amazing how many trees uprooted and fell like yours without hitting homes. So sad for so many other areas where trees went through homes and created so much damage. Even more heartbreaking and shocking to see all the flooding, damage and loss of life in NC. So glad for the update, glad to see you are Ok and sorry for all the beautiful trees you lost as well.
God was definitely with us. I'm so glad that you all are safe as well. Trees and mayerial things can be replaced in time, so I'm not worried about that at all. Continued prayers for all in the Carolinas. Thanks for watching!

I was watching all the coverage of everywhere she affected. I finally hard to cut way back. I needed to stop crying. I would start crying during my prayers. Just talking to God about all the poor people had lost, would get me going again. We donate to Billy Graham foundation each month, not bragging. And I was so happy to see them, Samaritan's Purse. Our trees were laying in all different directions, and not one of the 14 hit our home. It's as if God just laid them away from us. I can never praise Him enough!

God is so good! We were left with a mess also, I am in Georgia too. We had a mess but no damage to our home. I agree with you having no water was the worst thing. We had a generator. My daughter lives an hour away and was not affected at all went to her home and carried water took showers there. She lives near the coast also. Everything was inland for sure. I grew up near the coast, so we were prepared probably more than most. Prayers all the ones who lost family and homes. We are so blessed, the things that we take for granted is really a life lesson.Love your videos❤

I kept looking for a video from you & I was so worried because I knew y’all were affected in some way. Praise God y’all are all ok! I’m from NC but not in the mountains. We were fine. My brothers & sisters in the mountains have truly suffered so terribly. I’m a RN too. Just after it hit our state emergency management dept put out a call for nurses to volunteer to deploy to the mountains & of course I did. I found out a few weeks later there over 6000 of us that signed up. My heart breaks for what has happened in our mountains but so many wonderful people have come from all our nation to help. Our God has a plan & we can’t understand it when things like this happen but He holds us in his hands. So happy to know y’all are ok ❤

I totally understand how going through this can be. I grew up in the Gulf Coast & was young when Camille hit but will never forget it & others as well. We live about 45 miles north of the coast but when Katrina hit we had lots of damage in our area. I had to laugh when your power was turned back on because I can relate back. Just to have the power back was like a feeling of our lives slowly getting back to normal. I know the trees was like a backdrop to your beautiful home. So maybe you can plant some this fall.
It was definitely scary, and I hope to never have to experience anything like it again. Yes, trees and material things can be replaced. Im so thankful to be here. God bless...thanks for watching!

God is good all the time!! You were truly blessed. I live in the mountains of North Carolina near Asheville and we were blessed too. Our little town flooded and surrounding areas devastated. Asheville downtown was literally destroyed! So sad all the lives that were washed away. So many wonderful people came in from all over the US to help people and rebuild roads that were washed away. I-40 to Tennessee is still closed because two lanes beside the river completely washed away. I-26 into Tennessee is also closed because a large bridge on interstate was washed away. You said you never expected it in your area well we feel the same in our area. God Bless ❤

Aren't we blessed that we can call on our Heavenly Father for the protection we need!❤ 2 years ago, I walked our property praying over the winds, our buildings, the house we were building, and the rv trailer we were living in. The winds turned onto a tornado, and so many had losses and damages. We had one tree come down, and as I was standing there looking at it ,it was as if someone had taken it from the middle, sat it down straight up, slid it down the hill about 10 ft and then laid it down. As I was walking along the upper 30ft of this tree that came down I looked at my chicken barn and run. I noticed the pine needles brushed the dust off the run but did not hurt it at all! God answered those simple prayers of protection!❤ His children are blessed.😊
Karen, we are so blessed to be able to call on Him at any time for any reason, and He hears our cries and answers our prayers. My husband stood outside that night telling us which directions the trees were falling so that we could move to a different spot inside. Our granddaughter and daughter in love was here with us. We moved her 3 times that night to different areas in the home because of the direction that the trees fell. God was with us, and she slept thru it all.
Trying to find where this is? My nephew left hurricanes in Tulane, and moved to Augusta and had a tree fall on his home from the hurricane. Wondered if this was Augusta?
Definitely! The footage that I had was just my immediate neighborhood and the short drive to my mom's house. I've seen so much house damage since I filmed. So sad.
