@Taprackpewamy you are always amazing and I learn a lot. Wish you had an online training coarse; that would be amazing for those who would pay you for your time and training
@@TapRackPewAmy I'm glad I saw this.. #GuiltyAsCharged I've been holding my breathe in between shot and being a lefty, shots are low to low and right. Keep the vids coming.
You could also also try making sure your trigger finger is closer to the tip of your finger and further away from your knuckle. That may help straighten up the shots 🙂
@@TapRackPewAmy Good to know. I'll be at our local range tomorrow after work.. Scored some extra ammo at academy here in town and its time to work on the fundamentals. Take care and be safe out there.
Most of the time breathing is only truly taught in long range or rifle classes. I always try to tech people breathing is part of all shooting period. Great points and great video. Keep up the good work.
Low right is where the bullet travels without good technique whether it be breathing or whatever way you were taught to make good shots, very good lessons for new gun owners, i'm 60 and i've went thru some gun courses just to refresh my memory on things i possibly forgot, refresher course is always a good idea no matter how well you shoot, a new gun owner would get a lot from your course, keep up the good work
Along with your amazing smile, sure you’re sick of hearing it, very well done vid. Very pronounced on the safety check and rules, most important always. And the rest will make a lot of sense and help a lot of folks including myself. 👍
Hi Amy. Everyone knows firearm sales are skyrocketing. The sheriff's office where I live is processing permit requests filed in Jan-Feb 2021. Hopefully many new, and "seasoned" owners will find your channel and become knowledgeable and proficient in firearm safety. Thank you for your videos.
I love how Amy stresses safety first in ALL her instructional videos. Most gun channels barely touch on the safety topic. Not gonna lie, Amy could make a vid on dog shit and I would watch it in a heartbeat. She is so beautiful and has such a positive vibe.
Hi, Amy! Thank you for sharing these informative videos! I don't know if I missed any instruction in previous videos, so I apologize if you're having to repeat yourself. My questions are, how can I prevent "limp wristing" it? I know this is based on grip, however, I am still struggling. I am working on anticipation, trigger press, and now that I watched your breathing technique video, I will incorporate that into my training. Another question I have is, I have a P365 SAS. I struggle racking the slide and flipping the lock on. Can you demonstrate a safe and efficient technique?
@@TapRackPewAmy Thanks for your feedback, Amy. Your videos are definitely helpful when I am practicing alone or with others at the range. I look forward to more videos! 🙂
Is the G19 a good carry/do-it-all gun for a woman? I've considered it because it's said to be extremely reliable, but I wonder if I would actually be able to conceal it if I needed to due to its size (I'm 5'4" and 105 lbs). Also, how easy or difficult is it to rack using the push-pull method?
Got any tips for an older man who recently switched to a Glock 17 from a Smit and Wesson 357 Magnum. Every shot I pull left... like I am aiming at the right shoulder on the target at 20 yards and all my rounds are landing on the left shoulder chest area....I am frustrated, never happened before
I normally shoot with 9mm handgun and wasn't doing so well with it, but somehow after shooting a 45 cal handgun I'm shooting better with it, which is just odd considering the difference in recoil.. I find it quite a challenge to get good at shooting handguns
Oh btw I have a few peeps in the Dallas area In garland, Addison, and downtown I may visit. How do people join your class I’m assuming you have mixed classes.
@@TapRackPewAmy quick question for you as an instructor I'm in a wheelchair where would you carry I mean if appendix carry isn't comfortable or not possible I'm not a owner just wondering? Thank you for posting these videos so people can learn
I’m feel bad. I’ve been shooting wrong 😑 I do have an issue with shooting low left. I’m a right hander. Not sure if that matters. I pull the trigger the moment I’m done with the exhale there’s that pause in between breaths. I’ve never tried pulling the trigger while exhaling Hummmmmmm?
Don’t feel bad! I encourage giving this a try and finding your rhythm. Also, I would recommend making sure that your trigger is located closer to the tip of your finger rather than closer to the knuckle. Placing the trigger closer to the knuckle often times leads to shooting left (or right for those lefty’s). Let me know if it works for ya!
As a firearms instructor myself for over 33 years, you’re absolutely correct. As a red blooded American male, your husband is a very lucky guy. I hope he appreciates that!
love the look of the glock pretty spiffy looking thanks for the lesson
Amy I like you are showing new shooters there can be a balance between being serious and having fun. You help remove the fear factor
Thank you! I really appreciate that!
Such an excellent teacher. They taught this in the USMC 1971 with the M14
Clear, concise, step by step instruction, and enjoyable to watch.
I love warrior women .

Speed loads, handling and control.
And from a holster. Thx.
Good info, Amy!!
Not sure how I ended up on your channel. But I enjoy the simplicity of some of your videos.
Excellent. Thank you.
Amy you provide the best tips! You’re so dang awesome and incredible!!!
Very simple but also very fundamental technique. Good job.
P.S. your husband is one lucky dude! 😉
Thanks :v
I Love "Girls with guns" 💖💖😁
I wish you a nice day 🙏
You use the pad of your finger to pull the trigger. That's great for target triggers. I get better results with using the first knuckle area.
And that’s great for you, but 99% of instructors will train against that, as it causes shooters to pull left or right.
Love from Australia

GORGEOUS.
Nice technique.
