Tatro, I have stood next to some pretty good mechanics in my 64 years, speaking honestly as to your abilities.? I’ll put you in the top five or six.
I had a neighbor growing up that I witnessed take a transmission out of a 70 carolla by himself, using a Mimosa tree to hoist with, and rebuilt it on his kitchen table. He had you beat. I have been known to fix a vehicle on occasion which qualifies me to judge your abilities. Not everyone can do what you do, it takes real skill. Next time I get out to San Diego, I want to come by and see your shop.

The number of kicks required to start a Harley is directly proportional to the cube of the number of people watching. Nobody or one person one kick two people four kicks three people twenty-seven kicks. I don't know how many people you had but it was a lot.

@@TatroMachine tatro i thought harley was using ohv as early as the teens with their singles for track racing. But I know I have read it certainly was before the knucklehead
people thing JB Weld has something to do with welding, its barely good bondo

Old bikes are nice. But they have to be maintained like a fucker. I'd rather have my EVO. Turn the key and press the button. And your gone.
if you take an old bike and rebuild everything and up grade all the bad parts you do have a nice reliable bike. to each his own.
