It takes three days or less to die without hydration. The survival thing is something like Three minutes without air Three days without water Three weeks without food
Homelander has current plans to freeze Maeve's eggs. Soldier Boy is Homelander's dad. Soldier Boy started Herogasm with Liberty, i.e. 'Stormfront'. What if... Soldier Boy's 'shot into a cup' was paired with Liberty (who can fly) and we find out Homelander's been in love with, and consequently, fucking, his 'mother' the whole time to really send him over the edge. Would really hit home about the whole 'egg' situation being mixed with SB's sperm to grow Homelander in the lab.
I think soldier boy wants to meet up with homelander just to find out where black noir is at . They both have high egos - they would fight just to prove who is more powerful.
There is possibility that Butcher might end up just like the one person he hates the most, Homelander. guess he may become the villa just like in comics. He is so obsessed with eliminating supes at the cost of everything and everyone. There is no redemption for him..he will go down the dark path deeper than ever...
Seriously when I watched the SB vs. Homelander, I was rooting for SB, was so happy someone was punching Homelander back! Now after this episode, I'm rooting for Homelander in that fight, lol. I'm so happy he beat down the complete asshole/jerk and bully and almost choked him to death, pinning him down with sure brute strength. Can't believe The Boys made me hate one of my most favourite actors ever, Jensen Ackles 😂 ofcourse I realize that actually shows how awesome Jensen's acting is, but still, won't be looking at him the same way again 😂
Straight up what if homelander is soldier boy and stormfront's son, they haven't revealed who provided the egg to soldier boy sperm. Learning those truths would surely make homelander snap
That's most likely the scenario. Although it can change because in the comics homelander is stormfront's son and the boys show changes things from the comics
I truly believe Butcher only told Hughie they're going to get more Compound V because he knew if he actually told him that it would kill them, Hughie would refuse to stop taking it. He's never felt this powerful and confident before and while he doesn't know the effects of the Temp V, he doesn't want to go back to feeling normal and helpless again so Butcher had to lie right there but in the finale he'll destroy it all when they get to the lab.
Anyone think it's weird that both Homelander and Soldier boy made it with Liberty aka Stormfront after the revelation of Soldier boy being Homelanders father?🤔🤔
Yeah I have to wonder if she isn’t perhaps his mother. I mean if they got Soldier Boy’s sperm the egg had to come from somewhere and there’s no reason why it wouldn’t be a superhero. Soldier Boy has super strength and invulnerability, Stormfront has flight and energy (lighting) emission. Homelander has all of that but laser eyes instead of lightning for energy emission.
In the comics, the homeland is the son of the stormfront.... so... we already know who the mother of the patria is "The series is not recommended for any type of public" the warning has already been given, kkkkkkkkk
I think and I’m hoping, Butcher simply knows what it’s like to be an addict, and he thinks taking Hughie to the lab and having him see for himself is the only way for hughie to believe that they’re not lying
Apart from Vader's "I am your Father!" in TESB, this was a helluva chocker! Imagine Father&Son tearing up shit, damn'! Also, that 3 v 1 fight last episode, check the frames, Soldier Boy straight up SLAPS Homelander! Great intro&editing of both Noir's and Butcher's backstories by the script writers. This show goes far above and beyond what Marvel would ever have the balls or creativity to write.
What a tWist. Kinda saw it coming, but a fascinating plot nonetheless. I only see this playing two ways. Homelander teams up with his daddy takes down vought, destroys everyone that stands in their way and who’s wronged them, the boys, Noir, Stan etc etc and live happily ever after. Or Homelander being the cold hearted psychopath ego maniac befriends Soldier boy, then at the last second brutally kills him knowing well he doesn’t need a father since he’s been an orphan his entire life. Plus he’ll look good to the public for taking out the “super villain”. Can’t wait for episode 8
I'm actually wondering if Soldier Boy betrays Homelander. Soldier Boy seems keen on being top supe just as much as Homelander. Plus, Homelander has severe mental issues and the fact he knows who his father is now, it might give him a big blindspot
@@TonyAurum I feel like that may not happen , both supes wanted a family pretty badly so finding out their father and son might bring them together for good
I think The Boys take down Soldier Boy, with some help from Noir and A-Train, maybe Maeve. They'll probably do a rehash of the "girls do it better" scene except with black dudes this time, MM, A-Train, and Noir kicking the shit out of Soldier Boy. Homelander will become even more villainous and hate the Boys even more because they took his father away. I also think they're gonna reveal Liberty/Stormfront provided DNA for Homelander, and he will learn that around the same time.
Ryan can go through that way of Soldier Boy and Homelander due of Butcher's rejection, I think we'll see Butcher making things right with Ryan! Well, maybe it happens in fourth season... hope so
something that everyone almost misses all the time: mindstorm used his powers on gunpowder. cause we heard that gunpowder wouldnt go along with the plan and that mindstorm's powers ends up making you dehydrated, in the flashback of nicaragua we can see mindstorm giving gunpowder water
MM and Frenchie now know how to subdue Soldier Boy and Butcher seems to know how to trigger his supe deleting power, so maybe that's what the boys will do to stop Homelander.
Hughie and kimiko are two of a kind. They both want to protect their loved ones. Hughie doesn't want to wreck havoc, nor does kimiko. Hughie lost his first love to a supe, he doesn't want to go through that again. Starlight is learning the same thing hughie learned. The game is rigged against them and the only way to play is to be underhanded as well.
Butcher took 1 for Gun Powder and 1 for Countess. They both juiced for Russia, Herogasm and Mindstorm. If Butcher dies now or on the next dose he has to take Homelander with him. Otherwise he dies fighting alone, leaving Hughie with Homelander in a fight he originally dragged Hughie into. So he gambles their lives, one more dose to get Homelander and Hughie has a chance to live. Hard choices, dark...but hard choices.
It’s interesting that Kimiko and Frenchie can have a good relationship and Frenchie is cool with having no powers but Huey isn’t. & Noir’s backstory least the little we got is sad
I wonder if Homelander's hair is a continuity problem or a future plot point. It started off as blond BLOND enough for a nazi to like it. Then his sides started becoming dark. This episode, he has more dark hair than he does blond. It's REALLY noticeable in the scene with Maeve. Anybody else noticed it or is distracted by it?
he had brown hair with the blonde top in season one, but in season 2 they made him fully blonde to mesh with the nazi stuff, and now without Stormfront, he's back to season 1 hair.
I keep getting tied up over something SB said, in the memory Noir had, in that SB doesn't want anybody to overtake him, take his fame. The way he worded his conversation with HL he said he would have, I have absolutely no clue if he would team up with him. It's a huge possibility that he could and a lot of people, including the character's we love, could be hurt, but idk, I have no clue what could happen next. I so can't wait for next Friday.
I just realized. This may be far off but in the shot of Annie seeing the V24, there's some bigger green bottles to the right of it. We know Temp V is more powerful than the regular stuff. Maybe it's a special version we have yet to see, and maybe Black Noir is on it 👀
I friggin knew it! So now that we know Soldier Boy is Homelander's dad... ...and since he founded Herogasm with Liberty... will that mean Stormfront is his mom? Eww... with this show, I can totally see them doing that.
So I feel like the cartoon characters that black noir sees are a direct result of the brain damage he incurred when fighting solder-boy. That’s super sad and dark now that I think about it. 😔😔
Don't mind me, I'm just taking a victory lap in the comment section as my theory about SB and HL were proven right (after SB killed Countess). The writing is so good, however, that even though the SB-HL theory was correct, it was still shocking how we got here.
This episode went hard into how much trauma and anger corrupts a person. And sadly I completely understand what it's like to get there and not be able to go back
I haven't read the comics, but Butcher pissing off Ryan makes me think there is going to be a Homelander, Solider Boy, Ryan team versus God knows what the planet puts against them with Vought's help so we don't see an Invincible (Omni Man style) planet purge.
Real V doesn't work on adults and results are not good. Stormfront was trying to turn adults and it wasnt' working out. Kimiko was one of the few that could take it. Worked once it could work again.
butcher took 5 , hughie took 4 doses . they are gonna die unless they take parmanent v . butcher's going to take hughie to get temp v , but he is gonna give him parmanent V and he will take it too . or starlight is going to give it to them both .
Next episode Homelander & Soldier Boy team up to hunt down Edgar to kill him - cliffhanger ending when they find Edgar is the real original Supe & stronger than both of them ...
I hope Annie took 2 permanent Vs for Butcher and Hughie. Maybe even more for the whole crew. If they wanna stop Soldier Boy and Homelander, they all need to turn into Supes. Permanently. I hope. Imagine?
@@samrulz8231 what do you suggest Butcher and Hughie do now? Take more temp V so they can die? How do you think they should fight Homelander and maybe Soldier Boy now?
So im afraid that Butcher allready hit 5 doses (Gun Powder, Crimson Countess, Russia, Herogasm and now Mindstorm), Hughie is on 4 doses.. not looking to good 🤮
I think Soldier Boy's ability might be key to 'burn the V' out of Hughie and Butcher. Getting a bunch of supes to go up against Homelander and Soldier Boy might not be a good idea, as Soldier Boy's blast can strip them of their Compound V. In some of the interviews with Ackles, he mentioned there was a scene which prompted him to call Kripke to discuss it. He didn't think he could do it because he has kids. That scene was in the earlier part of this episode apparently. So Ashley is going with Soldier Boy is back and that he attacked A-Train and Blue Hawk. That's a bit of a 180. I wonder how she's going to spin the Homelander's inadvertent admission to killing SuperSonic. This might make it easier for Stan Edgar to get out of his troubles and perhaps return to Vought And the other half of the Boy's, I guess they're going back to Russia, but this time without Little Nina paving their way.
I feel like homelander and soldier boy will go for Ryan for 2 reasons 1. Soldier boy and Mallory meet again and 2. Ryan gets a chance to lose his powers
@@orlog3343 I personally think he was born with powers because the V was just naturally passed down to him. And like Homelander said to maeve, Soldier boys beam burns the V in the blood
Do you realize what this could mean... If Soldier Boy is his dad from the sperm sample then that means they needed an egg. Soldier Boy and Stromfront/Liberty don't age and have a history together(last episode) and this episode Homelander talking about harvesting Maeve eggs. The only other Supe that can FLY is Stormfront which mean its very likely Stormfront is his mother. Homelander was having sex with his mom all of season 2.
@@gingerdog8203 You forgetting about Crimison Countess, they used V there too. Even Hughie was showing his power to Starlight at that time and he takes it the same moment Butches does. So butcher is 5 and Hughie 4.
You are going to be so shocked because you're the only person who thinks that soldier boy is not going to die this season. I'm very sad about it because I do love how Jensen plays soldier boy
Just one thing i am not quite sure of, is the conversation that Soldier boy had with Crimson Something, He said that the only thing that kept him was the thought of her rescuing him, but in the recab she participated in his capture, so.. what is all that about?
I wouldn't be surprised if Soldier Boy's treatment of his team was his idea of "love" and "toughing up". Sure would explain Homelander's own ideas on how relationships work
I think Butcher is already at 5 doses, and Hughie is at 3-4 (in Russia, against Homelander and in this episode... I might be forgetting one)... Butcher took out Gunpowder, giving him one more.

Ah that would be twisted.
6:30 What other members? Mindstorm and Noir were the last members of Payback.
I think soldier boy wants to meet up with homelander just to find out where black noir is at . They both have high egos - they would fight just to prove who is more powerful.
"Today is the day I saw you scared."
ME: AND BRUISED!
I just realised the unifying themes in this entire episode are father figures and abuse. Amazing show.
Black noir was also drawing these characters at the Table in the tower.
I always liked Black Noir as sort of a meme/joke character, but this episode just rocketed him up to being my favourite supe.
I truly believe Butcher only told Hughie they're going to get more Compound V because he knew if he actually told him that it would kill them, Hughie would refuse to stop taking it. He's never felt this powerful and confident before and while he doesn't know the effects of the Temp V, he doesn't want to go back to feeling normal and helpless again so Butcher had to lie right there but in the finale he'll destroy it all when they get to the lab.
lets talk about what we all really wanna know: the origin story about how you 2 MET!
Homelander has all of that but laser eyes instead of lightning for energy emission.
bruh, this whole show is effed up. and its STILL not as effed up as the comic. ur comment is one of the least weird thing about The Boys lol
I didn't think Homelander's mommy issues could get any worse, but honestly I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case
I think this episode was better than Herogasm
I like how Noir saw himself as the Black Sheep of the team
I am Chinese, but I found western culture really like the son against father scene, since ancient Greek legendary ,star war,and this.
Serious Daddy issues
In the comics, the homeland is the son of the stormfront....
so... we already know who the mother of the patria is
"The series is not recommended for any type of public" the warning has already been given, kkkkkkkkk
Ya know they changed a lot from Comics? So why would this be right?
Eric kripke is the master of storytelling. See supernatural seasons 1-5 :)
Butcher is at 5, Hughie is at 4.
GunPowder
Russia
Crimson Countess
Herogasm
Then this episode
Hughie is at 3, he don't show powers when they came for CC, so maybe he don't use V then
@@balantor yes he does he teleports right in front of Annie to show her he has powers
@@toooriginal3816 ok, so i forgot about that
@@balantor all good
What a tWist.
@@Calder90 I like your theory but A-Train doesn't hate Soldier Boy specifically, but homelander.
Because Hughie feels emasculated ever since Robin got killed and he couldn’t do anything to avenge her
Just want to say you guys are great at these reactions, I really enjoy them especially after watching the boys, cant wait for episode 8 LFGGG
I was literally just wondering when you'd upload this reaction!
He's not dying his hair any more.
Or maybe since his dad is not blonde.
he had brown hair with the blonde top in season one, but in season 2 they made him fully blonde to mesh with the nazi stuff, and now without Stormfront, he's back to season 1 hair.
Love you 2 - BUT! Why oh WHY does the guy ALWAYS have to predict and be RIGHT about what happens next huhhhhhh????!!!!!
I just realized. This may be far off but in the shot of Annie seeing the V24, there's some bigger green bottles to the right of it. We know Temp V is more powerful than the regular stuff. Maybe it's a special version we have yet to see, and maybe Black Noir is on it 👀
that was episode of father
soldier boy father of homelander
buthcer's father story
mm fight with her daughter's step father.
22:05 WOW just realized this explains why the TNT Twins & Mindstorm were doing nothing while GunPowder shot everyone in sight in
“More than words” will never hit the same way after that lol
That cartoon segment was a trip, it's like an R rated Who Framed Roger Rabbit! Only this is more like Who Setup Soldier Boy 😵
Wtf I just found your channel and I was just at megacon Orlando too!
I friggin knew it!
So now that we know Soldier Boy is Homelander's dad...
...and since he founded Herogasm with Liberty... will that mean Stormfront is his mom?
Eww... with this show, I can totally see them doing that.
Butcher has done Temp V24, 4 times (Gunpowder, Russia, Herogasm, Mindstorm) & Hughie 3 times (Russia, Herogasm, Mindstorm)
what's more worse than being friendzoned?
being familied 🥺
So perfect you've chosen a Darth Vader tee lol.
Episode 7 of season 2 they revealed that Butcher’s brother took his own life.
And sadly I completely understand what it's like to get there and not be able to go back
i’m surprised nobody in the show thought of using mindstorm to neutralize homelander
That’s too easy 😂
@@ROUGHSEES yeah, mindstorm definitely had to die for the story to have stakes. i’m just surprised nobody even talked about it
I haven't read the comics, but Butcher pissing off Ryan makes me think there is going to be a Homelander, Solider Boy, Ryan team versus God knows what the planet puts against them with Vought's help so we don't see an Invincible (Omni Man style) planet purge.
Real V doesn't work on adults and results are not good. Stormfront was trying to turn adults and it wasnt' working out. Kimiko was one of the few that could take it. Worked once it could work again.
I think Black Noir has always worked for Edger and does what he wants or pardon the term what's best for Business.
Season 3 might be my favorite season
butcher took 5 , hughie took 4 doses .
they are gonna die unless they take parmanent v .
butcher's going to take hughie to get temp v , but he is gonna give him parmanent V and he will take it too .
or starlight is going to give it to them both .
It would be effed-up if they used Soldier Boy’s sperm and Liberty’s egg to create Homelander…🤢
she can Fly🤔😳
14:58 Haha *insert nervous laughter..
I hope. Imagine?
that would be fucking lame.
@@samrulz8231 what do you suggest Butcher and Hughie do now? Take more temp V so they can die? How do you think they should fight Homelander and maybe Soldier Boy now?

I think Butcher is misleading hughie. I don't think he would purposely get Hughie killed. Especially after his little nightmare down memory lane.
Exactly my thoughts.
LOL at 14:58 she predicts the plot twist
So im afraid that Butcher allready hit 5 doses (Gun Powder, Crimson Countess, Russia, Herogasm and now Mindstorm), Hughie is on 4 doses.. not looking to good 🤮
How appropriate that you wore an ESB t-shirt. "That's impossible!!"
So that's why the Twitter page made so many Empire Strikes Back references
@@soychidoese 😉
This might make it easier for Stan Edgar to get out of his troubles and perhaps return to Vought
And the other half of the Boy's, I guess they're going back to Russia, but this time without Little Nina paving their way.
I bet the scene was about the rumors of Soldier Boy molesting Gunpowder.
I feel like homelander and soldier boy will go for Ryan for 2 reasons 1. Soldier boy and Mallory meet again and 2. Ryan gets a chance to lose his powers
He’s naturally born with powers so it might be possible that he can’t lose them. And I don’t think soldier boy would want to hurt Ryan
@@orlog3343 I personally think he was born with powers because the V was just naturally passed down to him. And like Homelander said to maeve, Soldier boys beam burns the V in the blood
@@mwsage8645 yeah that’s definitely why it’s just not confirmed yet if he’d be effected like that by SBs power
@@mwsage8645 Hmmm
impossible bcz then SBs sperms wouldnt mean anything
possible bcz no supe has had a sude child
Do you realize what this could mean... If Soldier Boy is his dad from the sperm sample then that means they needed an egg. Soldier Boy and Stromfront/Liberty don't age and have a history together(last episode) and this episode Homelander talking about harvesting Maeve eggs. The only other Supe that can FLY is Stormfront which mean its very likely Stormfront is his mother. Homelander was having sex with his mom all of season 2.

Lasts 24 hours. So we don't know how much time is passed.
@@Kingjames23666 that’s true but they show at least a day passing between each dose so far (day and night scenes is the only way we can tell for sure)
He's probably just thinking that eventually her love for him would force her to try and save him from the Russians
Mindstorm fucked up his brain right before they knocked him out. He likely doesn’t remember anything.
I wouldn't be surprised if Soldier Boy's treatment of his team was his idea of "love" and "toughing up". Sure would explain Homelander's own ideas on how relationships work
Son, I tell ya, that gal Liberty was a firecracker!
The real temp v only works on previous supes and babies/kids.
Plot twist, storefront is the mother
Butcher took 4 shots, One against gun powder, In Russia, Herogasm and this episode .......Excellent episode and reaction
and when they meet crimson countess and soldier in episode 5 so he’s had 5
Just another reason to keep calling Jensen Dadd-- what?
