Could you use the flat stones as doorway steps somewhere to the many doors you have? Really dig this vlog !

"Psychic Susie... she's done it again! It's a bit worrying, really! ... I wonder if she can read my thoughts!" 🤔
I love the dry, quiet, dutiful Rols patiently pecking away at helping Susie's parkland vision come to fruition on this grand ancient property! This was great fun, but then, it wasn't I digging and moving rocks from one end of the property to another for the umpteenth time! 🤭🤣 I love them both! ❤

There are secrets all over the place, distracting yes, but so much fun. You never know what lies beneath or what you will find in any cleanup you do. Let the digging commence!😃

Well! This is not the path we started the video on is it 😂
Who would have thought that finally you could move those granite slabs! 👍🏻

It’s like making omelets. Gotta crack some eggs! One task leads to another! You’re going to be busy for a while. Very interesting thought. Perhaps you should turn your meadow into a temporary camp air and invite volunteers to come and help you? Don’t expect to see me there though, I’m going through a thing similar to what Suzie has been going through. So I won’t be up to it. Sorry! ❤

Yes, you're right, one thing seems to lead to another here, but it's exciting peeling back the past. So sorry you're going through something similar too me, it's not easy is it, everyday's a battle isn't it, but I'm going to fight this exciting one, best wishes to you, Suzie 🤗 xx

I laughed out loud when Suzie said she thought the path of the stones was going to the left and not straight like Rols was digging. She didn't want to bother Rols but!! You might have to dig up the whole yard!!! It just might be a courtyard!!! Kathy USA 🇺🇸

No worries if you must make digging videos, dig away!!! We will "dig" with you! Our yard, or as you say, garden, is about the size of a postage stamp, so joining you in your adventures brings so much satisfaction! I'm so curious as to how big this stone courtyard is, or is it a path, and if so, where does it lead to? Wish so much i could come join you!
Oh and the "raised gardens"? I have no idea why anyone should "lol"! They are significantly above the level of the grass and ground around them, so they are RAISED!
Brilliant idea of raising them even more over time though, as you accumulate compost and materials to fill them with!
As always, looking forward to your next video! So good to see sweet Suzi have the strength to do all this! Praise God for His mercies and blessings!

I love you guys. ❤I sense frustration. You do have a lot to contend with. 😳🤔 my two cents? Just focus on immediate survival and peaceful existence. Your specific needs. And the rest for other days, months, years.
    Rethink digging up a courtyard.
I’d leave it and get on with living needs. These other jobs can wait. Plant your food crops. Make a nice spot to rest in shade and bbq and drink tea and such. Focus on storage barn. House. Lessen your burden of worry if you can. I will pray for you both. You’re good people. 🙏❤️

Was it ever farmed ie a dairy herd with a milking shed? Because that raised platform of granite, next to the filled in narrower gap in wall, looks a lot like the platforms farmers in the UK used to have outside thier yards to put dairy churns on ready for collection by the milk float from dairy. The milk would be emptied out of the churns into tank on milk van or float, and the emptied churns put back onto the platform ready for farmer to recollect to clean and refill for next collection.

Looks like you have a bigger job to do than expected Rols😂..a path seems the way. Hope your van is sorted out as you will have to empty all that rubbish to go to the tip.Yes probably the battery the problem short journeys do not do any good. A s suggested below we Or I now have a couple of then left on our vehicles in France they do help charge if not used regularly. Loved watching Suzie and Rols . Take care😘

You two are really on a voyage of discovery! Probably a courtyard of some size. Was your property a Relais de Post? If so, a goodly portion of the walled area could have been stone so the wheeled vehicles wouldn’t get stuck in the mud

If you want to use the same spot for the van and still have a worry re start up, why not just back it in instead. Then maybe the terminals can be reached easier that way.😊

We will dig it ! Since in the past, people didn’t have lawns like in modern days, they had stone courtyards to stop dust and dirt from horses and other livestock, you very well may have a full stone courtyard buried under that grass. The question is do you want to leave the grass or remove it ?

A good start on that project. Rest your back tomorrow from all that digging and lifting of stones. I agree, those granite slabs could have been for exterior stairs on your property... or even an entry way to the house. The search will have to continue to test out the path.

I have a Toyota RAV4 that has gone through four batteries in four years. There is obviously a dead fuse drawing down the batteries but no one seems to be able to figure out which one. I, therefore, remove the negative battery cable when the car is sitting in my garage and reconnect it before I run errands. No more battery problems! Quite a collection of granite, rocks and slabs you have there for future projects. A little rain and they will continue to multiply. 😅

So many discoveries in one day! More than you hoped for. 😉 The square tiles looked nice.
I wonder, if you don’t find a new use for the granite blocks, perhaps you could sell them to fund something that you do want.
If I lived in the same country, I would enjoy coming over to dig out a path for a day. But unfortunately I live an ocean and half a continent away. 😢
