Something I appreciate about the switch lite is that the buttons are soft, so they don’t make loud clicky noises like the Joy-Cons do. The pro controller is also soft buttons
I have the original, it was my first hand held console. The original is mainly gross black on the outside with a semi-matte graphite grey accents. Also the Dialga and Palkia are sparkley on the original. The interior of the DS is grey with black buttons.
The grey of the interior is a near exact match to the grey of the actual switch lite. I also have my original DS lite version with this design and I compared it to the switch lite version and it matches almost exactly. It's a very awesome remake of the original console

I'm not sure what sound is more satisfying that CLICK of the switch startup or the startup sound of the Gameboy Advanced.

I missed out on the DS about 15 years ago because I was a teenager and my parents wouldn’t allow me getting it, but now I’m nearly 30, am a parent myself and I pre-ordered it without hesitation. No way I was letting this one slip.

Pre ordered this the second I saw it announced 🤩 it’s absolutely beautiful I love it! Being a fully grey console at the front makes it look so sleek, and the back is amazing 🤩✨
My partner pre ordered mine on the understanding I never unbox it. The minuet I received it I had to take a look. My favorite switch lite I own so far.
I had the DS lite version of this as a kid, I got it for my birthday from Toys R Us, it came with a pouch (that I still use for Switch games) and a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon DVD.
This one is incredible, gotta pick one up.

Just got mine two days ago and love this thing. Gonna be using it as my main Pokemon machine
I love mine. I really like the more understated design but it still looks super classy in the right light.
I have a feeling these will be restocked at retailers a couple more times in the coming months.
The animal crossing switch that was so hard to get for a while is currently in stock at my local Walmart and gamestop. Nintendo will likely make them obtainable for anyone who wants them before Christmas.
I hope you're right but from my experience they never restocked the sword and shield switches

This has got to be the best switch lite to date. It’s got the iconic ds lite design, looks sleek and discreet. I’m glad I picked one up and hope you enjoy yours too!

Nah Zacian and Zamazenta switch is better
I got one as well, the different feeling of the finish on this compared to a normal switch lite can’t be understated . It’s so good and I’m super happy with it
I've never owned a Pokemon themed console and I would really love this one. I have a lot of love for Gen 4.
Ah...I have a New Nintendo 3ds XL pikachu special edition I love it.
I used to have the Sword and Shield switch lite, but I agree Gen 4 is my all time favourite; holds a special place in my heart

Got lucky as a kid and was able to get the DS LITE version it was absolutely beautiful as this is
I got to the mall at 7:30 on the 5th and walked around for 30 minutes until Target opened just to get it. So glad I did. I don't own the /original/ DS Lite, but I reshelled my DS Lite with this design. Just the picture was worth all the work.
I love the sinnoh region can't wait 4 remake
They were available for pre-order on Amazon Japan for like two and a half months straight. They take American currency and you can put the website in english.

I couldn’t care less about Pokemon, but I love that this model is grey and does NOT have white buttons and sticks. That is why I bought this version.

I really like the all black/gray face of this one which is why I got it. The Pokémon on the back are also subtle so really cool stealth special edition.
Was lucky enough to get one off of Target. My brother said no one really knew Target had them so I had to check and luckily most in my area were in stock

Best looking switch aside from the white olded model. Feels premium holding it compared to the other switch and switch lite models
I think this looks nicer than the OLED model even now I have both ... This Lite edition to me is still the best looking Switch model ....

It is awesome.. I just ordered mine today. I am never home to play docked mode...so I got the lite and I love it.
Yeah looking at grabbing one of these I picked up an OLED and idk it would be nice to have a lite as well, and this one is a nice cheap exclusive lite console, I mean realistically there's only two reasonably priced ones and this is the better one for sure that texturing on the console goes a long way. Definitely would be a nice backup

Mine is being shipped now. I primarily play in handheld and my current switch is 4 years old and starting to go so I decided to go with this over a new one or the OLED.
Make sure you charge your switches at least every 6 months to make sure the batteries don’t crap out on you. Nintendo had to make an announcement about that at one point
I think that goes for anything that has a lithium ion battery tbh

I'm so happy this came out. The metallic legendaries outlines on the back could have been more sparkly , but that's just wishful thinking :D Matches the DS well.
Just so you know completed sales on eBay don't reflect the taxes the buyer paid after winning the auction. So if the listing says they won a switch for $204, they paid $220.32 if their tax was 8% for example.

My first Switch console. I always wanted one but wasn’t a fan of any of the colors. Soon as I got the heads up about this I was sold. It looks so premium and grown.
I really wish they made an OLED version I had funds ready to buy a BDSP or Legends Arceus switch but we got neither just a Lite which I dont need
Is there a high chance for a Legends Arceus OLED version or would that have been announced already?
See the problem with this is every time you get a new version of the switch you basically have to start your games which I guess you could say is nice cuz if you borrowed a game from a friend just to see what you thought of it and then you decide to buy the game you have your own save file on your system but at the same token if something happens to one of your switches you no longer have a safe file unless of course it saves to the same memory card as any stuff like DLC
I agree. Like I would like to play BDSP when it comes out on my regular switch and the switch lite if I got this one and play the same save file on both. Like if I suddenly wanted to play it on the tv with my other switch I would have to start the game all over again. If this was an oled I would get it 100% but the fact that it was a lite turned me off. The oled is apparently way better for handheld mode and I would have the option to put it on the tv. My og switch is just awful in handheld mode with the battery.
Already got it and I love it, sleak and slim. Don't always need the huge screen to be happy!
I love that colour so much, wish i could have one to put on display with the zacian/zamazenta one i have. The black and gray/white would look sick on display
I am so tempted to swap my zac/zam edition switch lite with this dialga/palkia one. The only thing stopping me is (I think) is the fact they have stopped production of the zam/zam one? So maybe it will become rare and go up in price. idk though
@@KamisatoElias I started using this one as my main switch now giving me Zacian/zamazenta Anya one a break I’m worried the buttons will get dirty since their not black like this new one lol

I can see where the "more mature" angle is coming from, but I still think the Zacian/Zamacenta one looks better. Way more unique.
I think Ninty should've given the Palkia/Dialga one blue/red buttons, as both sets of Legendaries share those colors.
I actually gave my old SWSH Switch Lite to a coworker of mine because I never use it anymore (now that I finally have a TV and bought a Switch) and because she said she wasn't sure if she should get one (cost was a major factor). She loves it so far, especially since she can travel around with it much easier than with a regular Switch.
She's been working so hard lately and everyone at work has been very stressed since we're short staffed. I told her to consider it an early Christmas gift but she insists on paying me back for some of it (which she keeps forgetting to do but I'm not gonna remind her lol).
Bought a Switch Lite just for BDSP a while back. I had forgotten about this version. I wish I had waited for this one.

The Dialga & Palkia edition Switch Lite is what got me interested in the Switch. I refuse to pay hundreds of dollars for something that looks like a Fisher Price toy and so far this is the only version that doesn't look like it belongs in a Toddler's toybox.

I like the black out buttons, they make it look sleek AF. Perhaps a matte black case and it would be even better.
I literally sold my turquoise switch lite to get this one. By far the slickest looking color with the black buttons plus the turquoise and other bright color bezel kinda distracts me when I’m playing games especially darker games like resident evil, doom etc.

I can somewhat agree with the blue/red joycons being like a childs toy... so i bought one, then bought the red/blue set of extra joycons... now i either have a red switch or a blue switch with opposite colored spare controller... and a really do prefer it like this

Oh the options. Buy another switch that I will inevitably never open and gather dust or realize that I won’t and save the moneys. Which will I go with? Your guess is as good as mine.

my bf bought it for me for my birthday, i love it! and my first switch lite.
I ended up getting a transparent case to protect the back with a grip and it's so nice
If you compare the BDSP switch lite to say a yellow switch lite. It’s night an day the difference in quality of screen and materials used. The screen it far brighter on the BDSP lite and feels more sturdy and safer to grip.

I do want to pick up this console as a collectors piece but I may or may not ever unbox it. I might box my puppers one back up and use the dialga palkia version as my travel switch though. Not sure yet.
The new bdsp switch dark color looks awesome but if would’ve been a lot better if it had an OLED display. Also Austin John is from NJ? That’s crazy!! Let’s just say he could possibly be my neighbor 🤔

My sister had a lite that got worn down so badly that her switch got button delay, when the oled came out she was waiting for pre-order and we both got Oleds
It looks so cool. But it's a switch lite which me personally am not that fond of. Wish they'd make these designs for the normal/OLED switch too. So far theirs has been sub par compared to the switch lite. AC switch was cool for the dock but handheld is barely visible and Mario switch was just all red.
Same I’m not a huge fan of the lite I don’t like how the buttons feel. I feel like this was a missed opportunity to have this on the oled considering it just came out. I’m hoping for legends they do an oled edition

Just picked this up last night at GameStop. It was the last one they had. Glad I got one so now I can trade with myself a bit easier. And my husband can play games on NSO if I want to play something else.

I have a old DS lite Diagla and Palkia. I got a new one from Blockbuster in 2008.

I was late to the owning of a Switch, first bought one in July (blue Switch Lite), but was able to get one of these as my second system to mirror my two 3DS systems. Blue first system and then Pokemon special edition as second.
I like the textured feeling of the Dialga Palkia system, gives it an almost antislip feel.

Dude I got mine in the mail today and the dent on your box is almost the same spot as mine, except it’s on the top part of the switch (box art) above the logo (about 2 inches north of your dent)
