Now you are talking about my kind of food! Uncured German Bratwurst from Aldi's with fermented Sauerkraut with caraway seeds (if possible) and quality mustard (cooked onions are great, but optional). That, my friend, is excellent comfort food. A pretzel bun can take that to another level if you can find them.

Brats are fantastic! I make mine with onion, slices of apple, spicy mustard, beer or hard cider depending on the mood, and honey. They always come out so good.
Just had a 10/10 hangover last Wednesday. Had like a 24 pack and a shit load of nose nachos. I’m 30 now it’s not the same no more. Woke up at like 2pm thinking about all my life decisions. Couldn’t even eat or drink water. Ran out of liquid iv too.

There’s worse than a 10 out of 10 hangover and in the military I did it a lot. Still being totally drunk (steaming) for the first 5 to 7 hours of work. Plus I worked on fight jets lol.

Oh have I had some 10 out of 10 hang overs. One morning I woke up in a chicks house and as soon as I climbed out of bed she threw my friend's keys right at my head. I have no idea what I did to piss her off.
When I was in the Army I had a "buzz" named after me. It was called "Chuck Drunkl". Used in a sentence:
Jake: "Hey, what do you want to do tonight."
Mike: " I think that I want to go out and get Chuck Drunk"
Jake: "Why do you want to get Chuck drunk? Is it his birthday or something?
Mike: "No. I want to go out and get as drunk as Chuck gets"
Jake: "OH. CHUCK DRUNK. You better thaw out your brats."

@@HOMEBREW4LIFE My go to is a amber beer with a little brown sugar and siracha to kick it up. I kiss the brats on the bbq to give good marks then then put in the beer mixture. I cook mine in the beer mix for about an hour on low heat. So good.
My cure is 2 Tylenol, 2 bottles of water, two hours before you need to get up and practice adulting. You will probably piss like a race horse, but should knock at least 4 off the rating. Those look mighty tasty, and while I would love to skip work and play video games all day… someone’s gotta make the $$$. And you need $$$ for beer, brats and video games.

I always end up boiling cheap hot dogs and putting them on a bun with a kraft single, maple bbq sauce and some jalapeños. Serve that along side 2 fried eggs and voila, the hangover buster. Wash down with electrolytes and caffiene. What hangover?

Nope on those brats. This is not the way. Beer boil first then grill or saute. The onion should be cooked to caramelized. Warm bun, brat, brown mustard, onion, sauerkraut.
