probably the best (if not the only 1) good and realistic sounding review of this stomp. i love this pedals and i use it from years now: i just hate to see and ear so many (only) crap videos bout it!
+G-System Videos different beasts for different sounds that's why there must be both on board :P (and with a Blackstar HTdual as main rithm higain crunch) ;)
Hi, Yep, it took me a while to admit it, but, once I tried the ISP Decimator G-String, I was sold! It is the most amazing noise gate I've ever tried. A MUST HAVE with the G-System. Rock on, Scott.
Great review! I have used a Trimode for years and love it, and thank you for specifically recommending it to users of single channel clean amp players. Its the way it should be used, because it is a preamp section haha. Anyways great work! I'd love to try a g system one day.
Not sure why, but I really seem to enjoy the sound way more with the Radial Tonebone Plexitube versus this pedal, even though I feel like this pedal has way more tonal options. I think this pedal is good for modern distortion, but the Plexitube just has that kick ass Marshall driven tone when pushed right. What do you all think?
I totally agree, the Plexitube (or, Hot British) is my favorite of the Radials, it just felt the most like a great crunch amp. For a while, I was using two Hot British pedals with my rig, sounded great! Rock on, Scott.

+Luigi De Luca Thanks! I love all of the Radial pedals...my favorite is still the Plexitube (Hot British).
Rock on,
Scott.

+Ian Locke The only pedal I like more than the Trimode, is the Radial Plexitube...it's even more amp-like. Incredible!
Plexitube is awesome too I wish that more people realized the tone potential they could have.
That's it I am getting the isp g-string. Heard nothing but good reviews
You won't regret it!

Is it possible to control the channels of the Radial Trimode with the relays of the g system? Thanks a lot.
I met him at the NAMM show back in 2005, can't remember what his voice sounded like though, it was noisy there!
why 4 dislikes? the guy has a peculiar personality but his reviews are the best.
I wouldn’t even say a peculiar personality.

Hi Scott you've started using a noise gate in the loop. Is this better than the g system's?
What's the song at 7:05 don't judge me
It's "Plush" by Stone Temple Pilots.
She's a runner :-)
So... you're Zachary Vex's evil twin?
Reverb on top of overdive? No thanks
