Was a paraglider pilot before getting married and grounded. This looks like it is going to be my fourth wing. Night flying is interesting, recently got a Starvis camera, wonder how it will go.
I wish you guys would of made this video sooner. I have had my opale 1.6m split for over a year and a half and was looking for a well made video on RC paramotor. I also have the RC cloud which I purchased a bit after to focus on more aerobatics. Great content keep up the awesome work.
have you flown the HobbyKing paramotor and if so how does this compare to that one? I'm looking to get into RC paramotor and not sure which one to start with
I recently bought the Hking 2400mm paramotor and it is so much fun!!! and half the price if you want to try a paramotor cheap! Tho this Hacker one is less likely to break on a crash as the Hking one is heavier. (Ive had a few crashes and it was just a matter of bending stuff back and re-ziptying everything)

I actually teach in full scale light sport powered parachutes (PPC) and can tell you this is indeed a powered paraglider (PPG), not a powered parachute. PPC's have large rectangular wings steered by your feet whereas PPGs have sportier elliptical wings steered by your hands. Both have a motor. One you generally land on wheels, the other is mainly landing on your feet but sometimes has small wheels, optionally. Thanks for watching! www.americanparagliding.com/ppc-ppg/index.htm
@@TailHeavyProductions : Doesn't the fact that it has a motor prevent it from being a "glider" since gliders are UNpowered? Kind of like how "drones" are also misnamed these days as a true "drone" operates autonomously with pre-programmed instructions and not directly remotely controlled?
Awesome explanation of RC paragliders
Way to branch out in your content. Love the reviews and your take on the hobby and general aviation. Keep it up guys!
I'm hoping to get into PPG next year. Seems like a good excuse to get another RC in the meantime.
What timing! I just bought my first RC a couple hours before this video came out - Hobby King Trike Paramotor.
I've been checking a couple of them out...nice!

Man I wish we got footage of your ppg formation at flite fest!

Can you guys do more projects. I love all your content but personally I prefer the scratch built projects
robot!

What song is this
Very cool, but seems rather loud. Is it possible to make it more quiet with a different prop, etc.?
Still lightyears quieter than any gas/nitro variant. You can only do so much with pusher props.
That’s really kool! 👍🏻
Ware can I buy one
All links are in the video description 👍
Awesome!!!
Hello, what battery do you use ?
Link in the description. 👍
@@TailHeavyProductions thanks I saw that right after I left the comment 😁👍🏼
@@TailHeavyProductions I just purchased a paramotor and am trying to figure out if the spectrum 2200mah 3s batteries will fit 😁
NO WAY, are you the PPC I've seen flying over Merrimack/Bedford???
We don’t fly full scale PPC’s in New England as we don’t have anywhere we can rent one and don’t own one either unfortunately.
If you can make an RC ultralight Quicksilver I would be all over that as well…
Ooh interesting. Stop trying to convince me to buy more RC planes. I gotta save for a full scale, probably a vansa rv7.
Coool
This video came out only three days ago and when I go to order it says you’re sold out. That seems like poor planning. Maybe another day…

wow i’m early
First, it's NOT a "paraglider". A GLIDER does NOT have power. It's a "powered parachute"., Get the definitions right.,

Alas...welcome to the weird contradictory terms used throughout the aviation world... 😁
What is a motorglider? 🤔
