THANK YOU for this video. I was able to change out the right sensor and save money from taking it to a mechanic. I also replaced my fuel injector from another one of your videos, that saved me $600. THANKS!!!!..👍
I love you guys and I know it’s a pain but the 2011 and up series v6 sel has a heat shield there doing the fender method how did you guys get passed this please please make a video
Both sensors have been changed two times on the Lincoln MKX bank 1 & bank 2, by Lincoln dealership repair services. However the same engine code is showing. What might be another problem with the code? P013A someone suggested to change the Catalytic converter .
Hi does anyone know where the bank 1 sensor 1 is located on a 2012 Ford Edge with a 2.0 liter engine instead of the 3.5 l engine shown in the video? Thanks
@@MrNutmeghunter I did, you will need a an offset o2 socket. A non impact swivel, and a long extension. Like 1 foot. I also needed a adaptor to a half in drive to use my impact gun. Access it from the left side of the cv axle. Wrap your arm underneath the vehicle to the inside of the frame rail. Hold your o2 socket in place a give that impact a bump. Should come right out
I have a code coming up. Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold Bank 2. 2008 Ford Edge 5.3L, V-6. I replaced the front upper 02 Sensor and had the catalytic converter cleaned out at the garage. Runs awesome but engine light keeps coming on 40-50 miles. Help????
Were you able to get it out? I removed the fender liner and was pretty much unable to get to it with any ratchet/extension. Where is the connector located?
@@EastCoastPhoto yes once my fender liner was removed I had to remove a heat shield as well to get my sensor socket in place.. I have an offset socket but there are also straight sockets

I replaced the bank 1 sensor 1 from underneath. Not real easy but still a lot easier since I didn't have to remove the intake manifold!
Is bank 1 sensor 1 located around the same area for a 2010 ford taurus?

Need help....Where is the exact position wiring harness connector for Bank-1 Sensor-1
I just wanted to let you guys know that y'all doing an awesome job y'all save me a lot of money and I just want to thank you guys all right
Video saved my 100s of dollars. Thank you

Can you access the sensor from the bottom of the car? Without removing all the stuff on the top?
Not from my experience.
Does this work for a 2010 taurus???
Will both bank 1 sensor 1 and bank 2 sensor 1 be the same part or do have different parts?
What about a 2012 sport with the 3.7l motor? Same placement?
Is this the same location on a Ford Flex?
Do you have a video on how to actually replace the catalytic converter

Hi, i like all you video you do. I have a questions and can't figure it out. How many oxygen sensors does a 2008 ford edge have?
4 in total, but I guess you already found out, sadly no one answered you sooner but here you are.
Thank you for replying
Hi does anyone know where the bank 1 sensor 1 is located on a 2012 Ford Edge with a 2.0 liter engine instead of the 3.5 l engine shown in the video? Thanks
I can’t find the video for sensor 2? How do you fit the tools in there? Currently working on this
I am going to do this as well. I don't think there is a video beyond this one. Did you do it yet? Did the tool have enough room? Breaker bar, ratchet?

Is this bank 1 sensor 1 upstream or downstream
Upstream
Good job removing the plenum.
Does the intake have to be removed to replace bank 1 sensor 1 o2 sensor?
I didn't make this video but you do have to remove intake plenum to get to bank 1 sensor 1.
What's good o2 sensor spacer ford 2013 3.7 Ford Explorer?
Amazing information bro....great job.
Is this the upstream sensor everywhere I go it's over $200.... Amazon link you posted it's $32??
Did you ever figure this out??
Where’s bank 1 sensor 2 replacement video?
If anyone could attach a link that be great!!
I’m wondering the same thing
No kidding.. how do you unplug it and plug the new one in? At least I know where it is now but I'd still like to see the replacement process.
Thank you bro
I could see if you wanted to save the sensor but cut the wire and throw a 7/8 socket on there other than that good video
The oxygen sensor you list does not fit a 2012 Ford Edge according to Amazon...
2007~2010 Edge\MKX have 4Wire NarrowBand O2 Sesnors.
2011 & Later Edge\MKX have 5Wire WideBand O2 Sensors.
Which engine was??
Porque se sobrecarga el alternador de Ford edge
2013 Ford Edge Sel 6 Cyl it's not reachable. That's why they don't show a video.
I need to see how to remove the bank 1 sensor 2, o2 sensor on a 2010 Flex.
Sensor 2 is a pain ... mine had a heat shield blocking the "fender liner" method

@@Neighbor512 Thanks a lot Jason, I have the offset socket. Will take another look (gave up initially) and try again.

There are 2 oxygen sensor on bank 1(1 on top 1 by the side)which of them is sensor 2?
And also
Where is bank 2 sensor 2
Downstream?
