My father always used to say ,we should be thankful for what we have and how we wake up everyday with 2 hands and 2 feet, and are able to walk, talk. We all should count our blessings!
Watching this made me very grateful that my children and grandchildren were born, what I consider, normal. These parents are definitely invested in the welfare and happiness of their son. Seeing all of the disabled gathered together enjoying the outdoors and each other’s company considering all the effort put forth to be there makes me, even at 70 years old, ashamed that I complain about the simple aches and pains I may have in the morning. Shame on me for taking good health for granted.
You just don't have the frame of reference until something bad happens to you personally, or until you see someone else suffer. It's part of human nature. All we can do is our best, try to pause and reflect on our lives, appreciate whatever we have that's good.
I'm autistic, work at home writing, but am celibate due to rejection and assist my parents, working for them and doing housework as they use walking sticks. I am hyper aware of differences and sometimes it pisses me off.
"Watching this made me grateful that children and grandchildren were born, what I consider, normal" um, as someone who is also autistic, saying that your grateful that your kids and grandchildren aren't disabled, is ableist because it makes disability out to be bad, when it really isn't! It is the lack of accessibility and ableist attitudes of those (who think that disability is bad), that make it difficult for disabled people! *NOT* the disabled person themselves!

This is part of the reason why I'm an atheist, at least when it comes to the popular religions like Christianity, Islam, and Judaism. A caring all-powerful righteous God would not allow a life of unjust suffering for children and parents. This guy had his childhood stolen and his parents sentenced to a life of very difficult, abnormal living and let's be honest... misery, for absolutely no reason. No hope that their kid will ever become a normal person with a job, girlfriend, his own home, a car, etc. And why? What horrible crime have they committed to be punished like this? None... it's just bad luck, or "God's will" if you're a religious person. God has a plan for everyone, right? Apparently Kevin's plan was to be trapped in a damaged body with a damaged brain for life, for his parents to take care of him FOREVER. And the plan for countless other children is to be slowly crushed by earthquake debris as they lie there screaming and dying... slowly, crying for "mommy!". Or to be tortured by various pathogens, parasites, bacterial infections, viruses, and cancers until they die a painful death at age 7. I specifically didn't mention crimes against kids so that Christians can't use the "God is not a puppeteer!" argument, where apparently God watches criminals prey on children and does nothing about it out of respect for the criminals' free will.

the intellectual way he spoke through the eye speech is amazing, the athletes running is also amazing. i love seeing all that happens, it made me emotional. being an epileptic runner is very different but still sort of similar, i am a 15 year old teenager and my niece also fights a movement disorder. i got her into this sort of thing and we love to go on runs together. ❤
I don't believe in God, but I consider myself deeply spiritual. I find it incredible what each and every one of you does. Despite being limited by your disability physically, you touch so many lives and prove that nothing can stop you if you want it. I have so much respect for every person in the foundation, Kevin's parents, and the caretakers of any disabled person. I cannot say that my prayers are with you, but I believe that I can send you some of my positive energy, and that you are sending yours to millions across the world. Thank you, and know that you are amazing.
So so so proud of Kyle and Brent and the whole Pease family and what you have done to bring smiles to the faces of so many as well as hope to their hearts! Way to go, Kevin!!
It must weigh heavy on the parents’ minds: What will Kevin do when they’re no longer around to take care of him?…Incredible parents and better people than I’ll ever be.
Let me reiterate that as I'm crying why isn't this a show on TV why don't they have something on a Saturday or Sunday that parents and children can watch this is phenomenal the parenting and the determination of this young man this is just beyond words can't stop crying but I think they're tears of joy
Kevin seems so sweet, happy, smart, and a hard worker in his life. His smile at breakfast when he said he has one goal, to get the food in his stomach was what made my heart happy..He has such loving,& supportive parents that motivate him to get out there and have fun,&be successful , i know personally having a child with special needs it can be challenging but its even more rewarding on so many levels..Although people with disabilities, differences, & special needs are faced with more challenges than someone without the same disabilities but its not impossible, its very possible for everyone to be successful in life, they just have to find ways to do things in ways that work for them..I remember being so inspired so proud of my daughter when she was 2 years old,she taught herself how to tie her shoes one handed, within hours in one day she figured it out all on her own, she was born with Amniotic Band Syndrome, she was born without her left hand and half her left arm., Theres many many days when im the one learning from her, im the one inspired and motivated by her..People that are born different are truly special amazing people, Its great when the world can encourage them, support them, befriend them and protect, cherish, and always be kind to them because you never know when that one day comes that someone with special needs may just end up being the most incredible person you will ever know❣💜
Thats awesome. Listening to what he types playback really shows that his mind is completely intact. Being able to fully communicate while his body is like that has to be so friggin liberating.
Truly amazing! Shows what can be achieved if we look for solutions around the disabilities and don’t put limits on people! And to stop making assumptions. What a blessed family! Honestly so inspiring for myself, going through my own issues with invisible illness and mild movement disorder
In 92 I was injured whilst serving in the British military resulting in the loss of both legs. Until that moment I was uneducated and had no insight in to the disabled community, since then I have been blessed through witnessing the tenacity and sheer doggedness of so many differently abled people and their support network. I am in awe of you all.

Simply beautiful. The dedication, The strength, The perseverance is just showing us that just because he has a disability he is no different than the rest. He bleeds and breaths the same as everyone else. His parents are god's angels. Showing what true parents are.... Never give up on your child because they show us so much more than we expected. Amazing story and beautiful family. May God continue to bless your family and give you all the love and support you need. ❤️
This is so upsetting. To think of all the people in history like Kevin that people would have thought that no one is home upstairs. That the lights are off, but he fully capable of forming sentences and thinking like everyone else. Mom you and Kevin are the bomb. Loving the rhythm and routine you two keep. Much blessings

Amazing FAMILY 👪 ❤, what a great story and inspiration,!!! Shows with family and supportive ,devoted parents , nothing is unobtainable, he has accomplished many things in life that someone without disabilities will never achieve ,he is awesome and Job Well Done Parents
Seeing his fight to do the things he want to do and actually get it done.. gives me so much motivation...thank u Kevin❤
It’s so refreshing to read all of the beautiful comments regarding this wonderful family! Blessings to all of you! Kevin, keep letting your light shine and keep pushing forward! You are one incredible man! To Kevin’s parents, you’re so loving and such compassionate people with the biggest hearts! May God bless your amazing family!
Hi how are you doing?
I can not get over the strength you parents have and the love abounding! He’s so intelligent and does not give up. Bless you and yours
He is amazing 🤩
the intellectual way he spoke through the eye speech is amazing, the athletes running is also amazing. i love seeing all that happens, it made me emotional. being an epileptic runner is very different but still sort of similar, i am a 15 year old teenager and my niece also fights a movement disorder. i got her into this sort of thing and we love to go on runs together.
Thank God for savior JESUS ! No God no reason to be on earth period!!! God bless you!
Best. Parents. Ever. Period. All my sincere love and prayers. ❤🙏🏻❤️✝️❤️ God bless Kevin for his determination and incredible patience!!!!!!!
They are amazing parents because God gives a special son to care for whole life of them.I can feel it ❤️
So so so proud of Kyle and Brent and the whole Pease family and what you have done to bring smiles to the faces of so many as well as hope to their hearts! Way to go, Kevin!!
It must weigh heavy on the parents’ minds: What will Kevin do when they’re no longer around to take care of him?…Incredible parents and better people than I’ll ever be.
that got me thinking as well, hopefully there can be other family members to pitch in :)
Once there was a time when his well being was assured. Now they toss the incapacitated out on the street. Plenty of money for war.
Im speechless…..devotion, love, tolerance, patience, never ending love……
This is amazing. Thank you for sharing Kevin and your family with us.
Just imaising parents Lord Jesus thank you for thos parents are warriors Bless them with lot strength ♥️😍🥰🥰
What an amazing story. Thank you Kevin and your amazing parents, and Kyle Pease as well.
He's so sweet and his parents are loving. What a great story!
my heart 💔
who is Kyle Pease ?
best to you and you family---all 4 of my sons are disabled.

MD....wow God bless you and your brood..Stay strong!!!
He's more able and smarter than most of society is today.
Yes he most definitely is
Kevin you have fantastic parents. They have allowed you to become an adult and allow you to make choices of your own. Well done mum and dad
You guys are wonderful... may Yahweh bless you and Kevin... praise GOD 🙏...
Its so crazy he is trapped in his own body but his mind is free and he is doing so well, great to see, makes you think not to take something as simple as walking for granted
Amen!
Ok this may not be relevant but I have a cat with cerebellar hypoplasia which affects his motor function only everything else (cognition etc) is not affected. To look at him you think poor thing, but HE doesnt seem to think he is anything other than a normal cat..hes taken more bumps than a pinball...but god bless him he seems to be a happy cat. I think, in a way, its the same thing. To them there is nothing wrong with them. Its very heartwarming🤗
That's a great mother and a strong woman to deal with that every day ..true love
What unique heroes they are. Amazing parents
Amazing young man and his family. I so wish there could be a way to reduce the spasms for these courageous young people.
There just may be. I saw a cideo on Facebook about a suit made for people with myscle spasticity. I'll see if I can find the link and post again if I find it.
Here you go, hope this helps. It's information about the suit to treat spasticity: m.ua-cam.com/video/iffx7nVW680/v-deo.html
Way too GO ! Kevin. You are an amazing young man with awesome parents are there for you though thick and thin. God Bless You. 😁
I'm in awe over everyone's devotion to living life to the fullest. Both those who have challenges and those who love and support them. You are all absolute heroes. I'm sending giant admiration and wishing you all the very best.

he’s so handsome and intelligent. his mother has such a beautiful soul. what a lovely family
This is so beautiful….and I didn’t know there were ways for people with cerebral palsy and other disabilities to use the computer and communicate! Good to know.
What an awesome family ❤❤❤and I can feel his parents love all the way threw the phone ❤❤❤so beautiful
Tears of joy and gratitude watching this segment. You all are amazing people!!❤️
What a good looking son! The brain cells are definitely working. I had the two girls and a boy on the third, so I feel a connection with you. YOU are a quiet-spoken mom and that's to be admired, but ask for help when having to use your back lifting. The Foundation is amazing and has a great need. WELL DONE BY KEVIN. Love seeing the tears and smiles of KOOL joy.
Give it time, Kevin. Soon they will develop a way for you to type as fast as possible, despite the physical limitations you have. I know it may seem trivial to some, but your intellect and insight is needed now more than ever. I look forward to a world you and the foundation have contributed to. God bless you and your family.
Best attitudes ever. I love this. We are only limited by what we tell ourselves
Hello how are you doing?
You guys are Very Good Mom and Dad Your Son is well LOVED and taking care of
Simply beautiful. ❤️
I'm so impressed 😃 God bless us all
This is so upsetting. To think of all the people in history like Kevin that people would have thought that no one is home upstairs. That the lights are off, but he fully capable of forming sentences and thinking like everyone else. We are so lucky in modern times to be able to hear people like this speak and see them show their humanity through their own words.
Claudette, can you come up with a better way of moving Kevin from bed? That's a difficult thing and there's no doubt the last thing he wants is for you to hurt your back. His patience with his physical challenges is amazing, to be mentally brilliant and to not give up due to the physical problems inspires me, of course look at his parents, another inspiration. Wow!
A mother's love for her son. 🇬🇧👍❤️
❤️
You're the best dude. Lots of love ❤
Kevin is my hero. Nobody works harder and he is so inspiring!
This is so amazing, such incredibly thoughtful and loving parents💕. I am a caretaker for someone in a wheelchair, so this video made me really happy seeing all those kids with smiles on their face and participating in an event as independently as they are able to. Thanks for sharing this part of your lives with the public. This is a really special moment in time that will positively impact so many other families going through the same thing.
You guys are an inspiration. This young man is so blessed to have such warm loving parents. God bless you all. Your son is a beautiful person.
What a gorgeous looking lad!! Kevin your a stunner! And you are blessed with your loving parents xxx a msg to your mother! Your son is just perfect! Just perfect xxx
🇮🇪 🤩Mitico Kevin, non smettere mai di lottare, sei un grande 🇮🇪
Fantastic, well done, such a lovely family, thank you for sharing your story
This man has it all figured out. Such a great attitude - Mom and Dad too.
I can't recount how many times I've returned to this video - I love it. One moment in particular stuck with me and continues to be a dream of mine... since I believe I also deserve to eat my three meals of the day in peace. Hope you're all doing great, because you're all certainly achieving great things!
This young man is AMAZING 🤩❤️
