Thanks for sharing, awesome video! I recently built a model railroad depicting a fictional East Penn branch and I use a GE similar to this for power. I'm not from that area, so videos like this are a big source of inspiration!
Not within the past 8 or so years. Its actually not owned by East Penn anymore. The Allentown and Auburn bought the locomotive and they have been slowly working on it to get it up to standards to transport it by rail to Topton Pa.
Just be careful down there by the Perkasie Tunnel. My dad ran a call with the Perkasie Fire Department after a local police officer tripped and broke his or her leg while running on or along side the tracks while in pursuit of someone. He and a couple of firefighters had to carry the officer out. My dad never allows me to go down there. But that was along time ago.
I never walked into the tunnel and Im not planning on walking into a active tunnel anytime soon, but that's definitely unfortunate to hear about the police officer
Excellent,,thanks ,great shots,Geoff,.UK
Beautiful video! Loving the ex. Conrail B23-7!
That's a rather nostalgic image at 2:35 with the old Alco switcher put out to grass and the ghostly Coca-Cola legend on the wall on the right.
That building is an old trolley barn. I think it was the Liberty Bell Route of the Lehigh Valley Transit Company
