Excellent find. Special purpose wagons with 'exceptional loads'. I didn't know they made washing machines that big, lol. An unusual event well caught. 😀😀😀😀😀

Thanks. They were stored on track near my house for weeks before they finally made a move down the branch line to Portsmouth, NH. Was happy to catch them.

Don't quote me on it, but these cement things can be from Moyock Castings in NC. A short line near me ships these out as needed. They are used for nuclear waste...that's what I've been told.

They can't go down to the Seabrook Power Plant anymore, the Hampton branchline has been torn up !! If it is for them then they will have to truck them down from Portsmouth yard and that will be something to watch !!

Mint video I love trains especially close up when you see locomotives from close up the size of them is something else a lot of weight and something like 16 and a half foot high no wonder they destroy anything that gets in there way and you have to put in context the weight behind the locos some power man gr8 catch bruvv, godbless you

Nice catch! I wonder where this is all headed and what it's for. This train would make for a fun modeling project.

Each one of those concrete casings is a 'sarcophagus' to contain a spent nuclear reactor from a naval vessel.

It was all taken to a dock in Portsmouth, NH and then loaded into a barge over to Kittery, Maine for use on the new dry dock they are building.
