Not everyone goes through the difficulties that this song addresses, I myself only listen to pop because I don't care much about the message of a song like this, much less to cry, but it really is a masterpiece from the 2000s

Some music I'd recommend are Echo and the Bunnymen, Psychedelic Furs, The Church, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Bauhaus, Public Image Ltd, The Cure, Jesus and Mary Chain, The Pixies, Dinosaur Jr, Talking Heads
And then on another side I recommend Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Pink Floyd, Fleetwood Mac, Billy Squier, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Boston, 38 Special, The Doors, Rush, Van Halen

Hi, Kerry. I really like 'Numb' although, like you, I tend to listen to it with the volume down a bit 😅 Its story, for me, is one of feeling misunderstood, frustration and a sense of being left out of normal life experiences. Thanks for sharing 👍
I never know what someone is going on "in the inside", but I have a hard time believing too many pretty girls have a difficult life....life is literally handed to you.

I'm a recent fan of LP. The first video I saw of them was live from Russia. My musical taste is more towards progressive jazz and classic rock; think Al Di Miola and Spyro Gyra and Led Zeppelin and Van Halen among others, but LP was a tight band with a lot of energy and strong chords. So, they definitely grow on you. Similar to Evanescence maybe. Aside from that Kerri, you seem a bit happier than when you were in New York and that's a good thing. Keep smiling. We care about you. Hey, I noticed someone mention Leonid & Friends. Truly, a fantastic Russian group that covers the Band Chicago. They also do other classic soft rock and soul, but the Chicago band they do is amazing and I strongly suggest you check them out (take a listen) because you will be amazed. However, if you've never heard the original Chicago band, do that first because you'll need to hear the comparison. Just incredible. They have a nice "back story" video on UA-cam also. Check it out. You won't be disappointed. Ciao beautiful! 😊

On the flip side of the musical spectrum... you ought to try Guns n Roses, Poison, Def Leppard, AC/DC, The Rolling Stones, Queen, Pink Floyd, The Who, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Neil Young, Heart, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, The Pretenders, etc. Personally, I'm not a fan of music where the main thing the singers do is shout or scream. These other bands are more musical. IMHO.
