Came too bloodied inside an ambulance covered in blood, when receiving medical treatment police came in and de-arrested him, he where not the guy they were looking for. I created a stink, Thames Valley police had a Detective Inspector from another force to conduct an investigation which turned out to be a cover-up and whitewash, told it were an unfortunate accident and regrettable incident. When asked if an officer had suffered similar injuries when wrongfully arresting my son would it be classed same as an unfortunate incident or would my son be charged with assault. My son were affected badly by this police beating later on he took his own life, from that day on the police I knew were not our friends. .

I honestly don't think he was shaking with fear, it's much more likely to be irritation and anger, most officers struggle with the idea that the public can question or challenge their authority, you have to remember that challenging their understanding of a law or act isn't - as it will be to most people - an academic discussion that's trying to drill down to the facts, it will be taken as a personal attack on their identity . . . a situation made all the more difficult for the officer's ego having a female colleague in tow, someone he likely feels the need to put on a display of authority for.
There still is the 1936 Public Order Act. S33 of the 1972 act just adds a definition to clarify what a public space is specifically for the 1936 act, nothing more.
