We are all human and the mistakes Mel Gibson has made in his life don't merit all the controversy. He hit his ex wife ( not cool)
He made a comment about Jews starting wars around the world when being arrested for drinking and driving.( also not cool). He was held to account by the law, and no doubt his friends and family.
But many many people in the publics lives makes these types of mistakes and we ultimately forgive them because they are our friend or sister or brother and they're only human. But we love to bring someone at the top down don't we. We love a fall from grace because it reminds us that those at the top are human too.
It sounds to me like "malagalmiami" is the hater.
That's why he was made the guy who is supposed to be looked with a skewed eye since there have been moments he have been way too honest for his own good.
The phonecall that got him into hot waters added with the movie Passion (which Mel asked Jim if he is ready to do the lead even tho he Will be blackballed, even saying that straight is very unlike hollywood). Like ok Mel Gibson was a raging alcoholic, there is no doubt about that. The one big thing that was latched onto him was antisemitism and I'm not going to say he didn't say some stuff you shouldn't anyway, still have to take inro account the dude was black out drunk (not saying it dissolves everything you do/say). Then also again like the concept of hollywood being owned by jewish people was also so foreign at the time that it made him sound Crazy. With major labels if you combine the high high up's, some around at very least 75% is jewish. Same goes for hollywood, so it's not untrue, it's just a fact, that cannot be said publicly even in the most polite way. Then let's go to the fact that the call starts from the middle and we don't for one know what her then wife said to get him so riled up about the topic and for two, she knew it will be recorded so ofcourse she will change her tone of voice and what she says and calls when he is Blasted. It all was at very least for the divorce, for her to get better money but I woouldn't put it past that she was offered a big sum to do it to get reigns on Gibson. Dude had to apologize about it FOR TWO DECADES in every interview before he said this is enough already. I've gone this over for so long that people know the answer.
His track-record of simply being a solid guy is very good. Like he geniunelly seems like he is from the good side of the table. He also haven't boasted with the things he have done for others. He himself have gotten help from some credible actors (like Jodie Foster) so it kinda does tell about his character. When they vouch for him when he is down.
Then I just have to mention the older interview that awhile ago started to circulate again a bit, during The Sound of Freedom debacle. The one where he talks in front of a baby blue wall. The guy who interviewed him was fired.. like pretty much instantly after the interview. Also Gibson turning to booze after it (maybe a bit stresfull time for who knows reasons) and then the phonecall fiasco.
It does seem odd at very least that the dots seem to aling so many times from something the indrusty doesn't like, to trouble with public image so you are not taken seriously. Kinda like Russell Brand right now who talks about mega-corps with receipts. Then from the 5000 women he banged in his sex-addiction years there suddenly Now is problems (I'm not saying he cannot be quilty but it defininetly is coordinated). Also the fact how it started with Katherine Ryan not saying his name but giving so obvious clues that you know in 3min googling who she is refferring to and even wearder of her flexing calling him a predator to his face on a show... but not mentioning it's a ROAST show (that after the first season Brand said he didn't like it since it went into just jokes about him because he is the easy target there with back then more so in publics fresh memory of his past sex addiction and a lot of jokes about that)(So I have hard time to beleave Katherine Ryan didn't say it as a joke).

Without bashing another, because we all have our biases, as well as our favorites, Mel Gibson is and will always be one of mine. We don't love people because they're perfect, we love them for who they are. But I hope to see him continue in the work that he's known and loved for.❤️❤️❤️

I hold no ill will over people who make choices that hurt themselves, provided they take accountability for their mistakes and don't blame everyone else. Being accountable and being better is the key to becoming acceptable again. Not an easy task.

I did not like Robert Downey Jr. one bit until I learned that he was a grateful human being. I salute him for that.
Mel Gibson is one of the finest people to grace the movie industry. Always loved his work, being as an actor, director or which ever role he took in a project. Everyone has their low point sooner or later. His was not even close to the likes of Bill Cosby or even Will Smith who, at least in my book, shit the bed. Mel Gibson will forever be a breakthrough actor and director, projecting iconic roles which will echo eternally to any movie aficionado.
With this move, supporting the Sound of silence, he cements his role as an independent thinker and true activist. Far from all the woke culture pansies who turned the entire entertainment industry into a farce.

If your "controversial view" is one you share with, say, Adolf Hitler, then most likely that's not proof that you're "on the right path". To all of my brothers and sisters around the world under God, just remember that when you are at your lowest point and when all of your so-called friends and family have abandoned you and you feel completely alone ... this is the point where you have the opportunity to open your mind heart body and soul to God. this is the point when you are closest to God. What feels like the darkest moment can and will be, as long as you open your heart and soul, your chance to be the closest to God and to become a Christian and not just a Christian but a Christian that is willing to sacrifice everything to spread the word that Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins and to support those that are through lowest point. When we are at our lowest, just know that God is closer than ever to us. But also remember that that's when the devil it's trying to get at you but all you have to do is pray to God and repent for your sins and wholeheartedly know that Jesus Christ died on the cross for all of our sins so that we can forever be in Heaven with God and Jesus and all of our loved ones. I'm a sinner and I'm a born-again Christian and I have a lot to learn but after being beaten and strangled repeatedly by a maniac for 4 days straight bleeding in my brain there is no way that I should be alive so I promised God I knew right then and there that he has me here for a reason because I should be dead a million times over so just like Robert Downey jr. Just know that there are people out there that do really care and they are real Christians who want to save as many Souls it's possible through God and Jesus our Lord and Savior. It just makes me so happy to see what Mel Gibson is doing and so many other now. God bless you all and don't forget if you see someone struggling no matter what you're going through reach out to them even the tiniest thing that you do for them maybe a sentence maybe a hug definitely telling them that God loves them and he gave us Free Will and that is why we struggle because when he created us he did not want us to be his puppets therefore we have free will and unfortunately that's why bad things happen.
