Amazing laptops and better prices. Even with tons of heavy plugins going my fans stay pretty quiet. The old machine I had sounded like a mini jet taking off whenever I loaded a full project with quad tracked rhythm guitars haha.
Also, so glad they ship Windows 10. Win 11 still needs much work IMO.

These are very impressive! I wish I knew of this company when I purchased my laptop back in 2020. I ended up with a Lenovo Legion 5, which, don’t get me wrong, is a powerful device, but for the price I paid for it, I could have gotten a much more powerful laptop. Oh well, I know where to go next time I decide to upgrade!
Having a laptop-based home studio has been amazing so far and even though I’m not using a Kreative Designs laptop, being able to unplug from my home desk & take my projects with me has been such a wonderful experience. Happy to see others going this route too!

What saw do you use? I’m just curious at this point, but this video is giving me thoughts about jumping off the apple/logic ship and going back to windows with one of these machines. I’ve gotten used to logic though, and going to something new would have to be something similar to logic.

I am doing 360 camera video editing. Does this laptop come with anything for that? Adobe? DaVinci Resolve? Thats awesome that it is affordable and great for audio and video production
You'll have to install your own programs of course but you can install anything you like

Mine has one output. You'd have to ask Kreative Devices about that
I have 2 displays connected to mine for a 3 display setup.
I use USB-C for the 2nd display.
Producing on a laptop is suffering!! The small screen, the lack of USB ports 😣😣
I have it hooked up to my 55 inch screen and a usb hub... no issues here!
Even if you have a bunch of top notch hardware there's a lot of common driver issues found on Windows laptops causing annoying latency and audio pops.
It has all the ports you need, unlike Apple.
And I love how people try and blame windows for their lack of knowledge.
If you're getting clicks, pops and driver issues, it's your hardware drivers and latency settings that need changing.
My latency is as low as 16 when tracking, and I have no issues.
And I couldn't get it that low on my previous apple.
Apparently this isn't common knowledge.
When recording, you want the lowest latency your system can handle, and when mixing you want the highest latency your system can handle.
"Your system" meaning your computer and audio interface.
Of course a laptop can replace any desktop. i’m an IT engineer. But the price will not be the same.
Some CAO engineer use in my company 17 inch laptop with Xeon CPU, 128 Gb RAM and GPU which can cost the price of a deskop. And those laptop cost more than €7000 euro. It’s not about technology you can put in a laptop it’s about the price you’re able to spend. A Mac Book pro with a M3 max 40 core on the GPU and 16 on the CPU, with 128 Gb RAM and a 8 Tb SSD will allow you to make everything you want for video and audio purpose but it will cost you €8254

Thank you for the follow up on this product. I was hoping you would have the Company founder on. Anyway, I am just at a point with these consumables that if the company doesn't offer a business lease, I look down my nose at them. These are tools that depreciate and should be written off as a legitimate business expense as business needs grow and technology improves. I may have to choose something less sexy and utilize a cloud services if they can't get it together. 😉
Unless you compose 60 track symphonies with kontakt instruments, I think any mid tier laptop works for this. You don't need a good GPU, any good newer gen CPU and fast RAM will get the job done. I've never understood the whole idea, that a DAW host needs to be spec'd like a gaming machine.
In my case I also use it for video editing, so the GPU comes in handy!
@@SonicDriveStudio makes sense! I have a gaming notebook for the same reason. But for recording only I definitely wouldn't need it.

There’s no doubt that desktops are more bang for your buck when it comes to performance, but a nice portable setup is always nice to have. Awesome song btw!

My 4080 laptop is a beast for gaming is my primary use, i wouldn't want anything less for gaming than a 4080.
My games play just fine on this laptop.

I was forced to move to laptop after a hurricane destroyed my home. Took 3 trees to my house. 2 in my bedroom, one in my studio and then a tornado scattered everything around my yard and swamps and woods surrounding my house. I found one of my studio monitors in the mud on the edge of the swamp through the woods and that thing STILL WORKED!!! lol I lost so much gear but it’s all good. Most of it was covered. And yes I got new monitors now. lol but back to the computer. I lost my alienware in all that so I moved over to my laptop to get what I needed done. It was an hp omen gaming laptop. i7 processor (don’t remember which one but it really did a good job) upgraded ram upgraded ssd, 1050ti graphics (doesn’t really matter). This computer actually kept up with my studio needs since late 2020 until a few months ago. It has just had enough and needs some love. So I retired it and now I’m on an M2 MacBook. This thing kicks ass. It’s snappy quick compared to my windows machines. I think I’m gonna delve deeper into the max world. I’m enjoying my stay with them so far. lol
