I often heard them on the radio. I loved the simple straight forwardness of their music. I can imagine them entertaining people at a coffee house that also has a library . My type of place.

i understand, why she not sings. We shall hear her playing. the far awy beauty with children? Oh, Canada is that far away from our black forrest. I'm cryin'.Hey girlies, i melt on your voices!
I’m not being trite when I say Jesus Christ can hear you. If you don’t already know him, he’s ready to greet you with open arms. If you’re an unbeliever, all that’s required to know him is to repent for your unbelief and ask him for a new heart and into your life. It must be sincere, of course. Don’t do like I used to do, which was to ask in vain as if he’s a genie in a bottle, because he will not respond to a such a sentiment. May God bless you.
I guess it's in my top 3... Because of Dylan's "Blood On The Tracks" and Ry Cooder's "My Name Is Buddy". But not sure it's not the top one actually ;-)
@@coynable Such a shame that there is not a little glow from the drivers cab or one window of the carriage. I do paint and the masters liked to add a minimal amount of Red - it makes an unbelievable difference.

Blimey! One of the my favourite albums. Got to see them live at the Southbank years ago❤🎶😢I sat there crying like a baby as it was all so beautiful.

Wonderful trio, love them, again and again.
Actually, they were a quartet for this one record, before Jolie Holland left
Nice to hear good harmonization and delightful melodies once again. Too much modern music seems to disdain these 2 fundamentals of really good music.
Light Enough to be Good Tanyas !What a wonderful Hour !
I love that song. Sang it to my dog on the way to the park, and she danced around me, knowing she was going to run and play
They are like the John, Paul and George of whatever one calls this music...remarkable, I wish there were more of it esp vids...
Yeah,,,The Beatles

Celestial voices.
I'm more partial to the mixing's focus on the bass. It's pretty fantastic.

I'm not sure what's worse. Crying or having to cry quietly because you know that if anyone heard you, they wouldn't understand..

The Coo-Coo Bird
Gonna build me a log cabin
On a mountain so high
So I can see Willie
As he goes on by
Um hmm hmm
Oh the coo-coo is a pretty bird
She wobbles when she flies
She never hollers coo-coo
'Til the fourth day of July
I've played cards in England
I've played cards in Spain
I'll bet you ten dollars
I'll beat you next game
Jack of diamonds, Jack of diamonds
I've known you from old
Now you've robbed my poor pockets
Of my silver and my gold
Um hmm hmm
I've played cards in England
I've played cards in Spain
I'll bet you ten dollars
I beat you this game
Oh the coo-coo is a pretty bird
She wobbles when she flies
She never hollers coo-coo
'Til the fourth day of July

Try Ian and Sylvia's Northern Journey. Also, have a tissue handy when you listen to the Tanya's Dog Song 2
