Hi Josh. Since this was from 4 years ago, how about a quick update on your current setup and changes? Where again can you get the 'rack' case? And lastly, the monitors?
I’d like to start the process for building an LV1 system for FOH on a slow and steady budget. Which components are the biggest spend, with the mindset of obtaining the main pieces and working backwards from there? Extreme server + stage racks?
Server's and rack is biggest spend. However, you can get some really great used gear on Facebook. Waves LV1 Mixer and Waves Classifieds are great resources. I'm personally selling my Mercury Bundle there.
Hi … As I have a two piece vocal gig, I’m thing of purchasing the LV1 so I can use my waves vocal plugins on my live gigs… I’d be grateful if you could advise… Lenovo have a new Dual-Screen Yoga Book 9i … and I’d imagine the LV1 software would run perfectly on this rather than having to go with big Del screens? Would I be right?
There's only a Extreme-C and Extreme. My licenses are LV1 with Mercury and Studio Classics plus Abbey Road. It's hard to gather an exact figure because I've acquired most of this gear over time. These two servers plus the licenses would run about $6000-$7000. The average LV1 rig starts around $7000-$8000 but closers to $10000 gets you a pretty nice setup. You can spend up to $15000-$20000 if you really wanted, but entry into into the platform is around $5000. I should have a buyers guide soon.
@@chrisdenman3489 Annual cost of maintaining the gear? If your taking care of your rig there is minimal to no cost. If your talking about the software, I think Waves Update Plan is $240USD which includes support, updates and new additions to your bundles. WUP is optional though.
Friend, I'm Brazilian and I don't speak English. Perhaps, the question I'm going to ask you is already in this video, however, because I don't speak English, I'll ask it anyway. About the sound of the Studiogrid 4000 and stg 2412 interfaces, which do you prefer?
Hi could you be more specific when pointing to your components?... I'd really appreciate it for us newbies... Did you say "extreme server" or servers ? thank you

Hi Josh, This looks great, can I ask how much you have paid for the 4 servers and the licenses?
