Such à great show just watched all 3 series again. Great acting, especially Aimee Fion Edwards who plays Sophie. Shame she wasn't in series 3. But a sublime show nonetheless.
I just started watching - this was a scene from the 3rd or 4th episode. Available on Hulu or Amazon Prime via Acorn. The Detectorists is a bit quirky but very good. Well written, the right mix of drama and subtle humour/humor. Some definitely-British references that Americans might not get but I think anybody would get the gist. Different kind of show but very entertaining. BTW, Aimee-Fiona Edwards (Sophie) is very good in this show. Easy on the eyes too.
Watching this series again from Episode 1. Such a masterpiece.

On season 2 now during my 1st watch of the series. I can't stand Sophie. Becky is a real one. She likes to tease, but she accepts him for who he is.
No sympathy for Sophie after she admitted being in Simon and Garfunkel's pocket.
Brilliant series. Aimee_Ffion is stunning.
