- Hyperdimension Neptunia is a unique role-playing game set in a world called Gamindustri. It is divided into four different regions: Planeptune, Leanbox, Lastation and Lowee (represents one of the consoles - Sega Neptune, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii), and each of them is protected by its own goddess. You will play the role of the goddess Planeptune, Neptune, who has to save the world from the attack of the evil goddess Arfoire. To do this, she needs to find the book Histoire, which contains the secrets of the world. During her adventures, Neptune can call on famous characters from classic games to help her.

It surely evolved extremely quickly after the 1st slow-paced game. How that justified it enough to be a series is astounding

Megadimension VII changed everything for the better because they actually tried with that one.
The first three are essentially the same game with a different story and slightly better graphics, and the third party ones always have the highest quality, such as finished dubs, more mechanics, etc.
Four Goddesses Online looks like a AAA game in comparison to the rest, has online multiplayer, AI party members who fight alongside you as opposed to you moving all the chess pieces yourself, etc. The level of polish Tamsoft has brought to the series is second to none, not even the original developers can top them.
I miss the old version of Neptunia.
Ikr? The first Neptunia on the PS3 had a very good atmosphere, enemies, narrative and character interactions all tied up with gaming references
@@Queen_of_CatastropheFor a game who love to make fun of NPCs, the original Neptunia actually handled NPCs well making them have their own story and problem than simply quest giver.
Neptune is more of a "Go get em'" protagonist than how the series later potrayed her as lazybones. She is the most proactive CPUs where others are negligent so much that the nation suffered. And there is the political drama, its the most RPG like world for me.
I think the tragedy is that they needed a reboot of the franchise, yes. But the way they handled it filtered most of the charms that the first game had.

Honestly Megadimension Neptunia VII and Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1 are my favorites in the series. It definitely took me getting used to the Guard Break System in Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1 after the Guard Break System not being present in Megadimension Neptunia VII. (I played Megadimension Neptunia VII first, it's the game that introduced me to the series)

There are a mist/fog in virtual stars, because of that i have the impression it was a Nintendo Switch game i think the best graphics is sister vs sister
The developer make gameplay from Turned Based to Hack n Slash at Action Unleash then forgot how to do it until Cyberdimension and Senran Kagura crossover.
Different developer. Those games and Blanc + Nep vs Zombies were all done in collaboration with Tamsoft. Compile Heart didn't properly try their hand at Neptunia action games until Virtual Stars which isn't even in this video for some reason. 😂
Also Cyberdimension isn’t Hack ‘n Slash. It’s a real time action RPG.

Hardly any major evolution since the first release. The last one looks like a PS3 game in HD.
The Neptunia games are 10 X's better then all the Call of Duty, Fortnite and GTA Grand Theft Auto games. These are games that true gamers need to be playing. Not that other trash.

People can play what they want, theres no need to shame anybody for playing Call Of Duty nor Hyper Dimension. Both games have their qualities and problems.

That same thing happens with the crawling animation in Blue Reflection Second Light game. Look up the Blue Reflection Ray Anime. And the Blue Reflection games. There really fun.

They updated them in VIIR and used brand new ones with Virtual Stars and SVS. They've been using the same from SVS the past few games though.

Why can't all PS3/PSVita Neptunia games get re-released on Switch? All Switch got was Megadimension Neptunia VII, Super Neptunia RPG, and that Senran Kagura crossover. :/

The rebirth games are coming to switch later this year. We don't have an exact date but IFI did confirm a switch release of all 3 rebirth games for 2024.
