Jajaja primero esto es más una leyendo que un hecho, ni siquiera se encontró cuerpo. Eran las típicas leyendas de la edad media que culpaban de muchas cosas a los judíos. Lo verdaderamente horrible, fue que por este "hecho" después quemaran en la hoguera a mucha gente (muy documentado) y avivará más el odio a los judíos.

El que visita La Guardia era Yitzjak Navón, dramaturgo y político israelí. Fue el quinto presidente de Israel y el primero de origen sefardí. De ahi su interes en aclarar estas creencias acerca del pueblo judio en Espana o Europa.

This priest, composed the martirdom of the child by inspecting and reading the confesions of the jews who participated in the crime, testimonies that are in the archives of the Santa Inquisición, and other documents existents in churches nearby.
The King Charles V and his son Philip II, went to pray to the place where the little child was kept during his martirdom, before his crucifixión.

I think the producers are being a bit unfair to the local inhabitants of La Guardia. When (...is it Mr. Navon?...) approaches the first individuals in the town center, he asks them, "Who knows the details of this story?"
Now, who would likely know the DETAILS of this story but those who BELIEVE it? (With the exception of the few scholars in the town.)

It is true. The relate of the martirdom and crucifixión of the child was written around 1700 by a priest who was also a Doctor in the vicinity of La Guardia. The book was offered to the Archbishop of Toledo in those years.
The history was composed by examining the confessions of the jews before the Santa Inquisición and other documents archived in churches nearby. I can’t Remember exactly but aprox 17 jews who participated were detained, whose names, are in that book. All where executed, except one.
This was the last ritual crime of the jews in Spain before his expulsión; there were previous one as the child Dominguito del Val, and also in other countries in Europe.
Of course the jews will always deny their ritual crimes.

The jews who were deteined for the ritual crime, confessed their crime, one was caught red handed with the sacred form for the ritual. In total were aprox. Eleven jews who participated in the crime, their names are in the book. All were sentenced to death, except one.
Do you mean all confessions were made under torture because it is convenient for the jews today? All tribunals and judges know how to obtein the truth from the contradictions and finally they either accept the evidence or confess voluntarily for various reasons…
I haven’t read those confessions or the conclussions of the tribunal based on testimonies and evidences. But I am sure the sentence was a just one.
Do you have any prove of torture? I doubt it from a religious Tribunal. In Inquisition times, people who committed crimes wanted to be judged by the Inquisition ínstead of a civil tribunal, as the punishments were less severe, normally an economic fine. So that, they pronounce an heresy or other, in order to be judged by the Inquisition ínstead of a civil Tribunal.

All the seventeen jews who participated on this crime were condemned to death, except one who denied be part of this crime.
This was not the first, nor the last ritual crimen of christian children by jews within Europe.
It was the last one in Spain, before their expulsión.
