I just ordered a crap ton of KC Hilites off road lights for my brand new 2021 JL Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon.

I wanted to add one thing as to why I chose KC Hilites over the competition. I was born and raised in San Diego, California and have been around off roading all of my life. When I was a baby in the mid 70’s, up through grade school throughout the 80’s, my parents and other family members would always go out off roading in our full size 1/2 ton or 3/4 ton 4x4 trucks in the East County mountains and other off road areas, or we would go out to the desert and take our dune buggies out there. On our dune buggies, almost everyone had KC Hilites off road lights on them and they always worked flawlessly without issue.
In 1990, when I got my drivers license I bought my very first 4x4 truck and started going out off roading as well. A few friends that also owned 4x4 trucks ran KC Hilites on their trucks as well and just like with my parents and other family members dune buggies that all had KC Hilites, the ones on all of my friends’ trucks were just as reliable too.
Later on in life I added off road lights to other 4x4 trucks that I owned but I was talked out of going with KC Hilites. In hindsight, I wish I would have gone with them back then.
When I ordered my Jeep so I could get back into off roading again I began doing a lot of research on what was the best brand off off road lights to go with. From past experiences from as far back as the mid 70’s, KC Hilites was already one of the companies that was top on my list. In the end it came down to KC Hilites and one other brand. When I spoke with the other brand concerning some questions that I had, they seemed somewhat annoyed that I was asking them questions to gain a better insight and knowledge about their off road lights and they didn’t really want to answer any of my questions. I then called KC Hilites and they were very friendly and outgoing! They took the time to answer all of my questions and everything about them was night and day different. As a result of the excellent customer service that I received from everyone, I ordered a bunch of off road lights from KC Hilites! I ordered a pair of Flex Era 4 combo LED off road lights, a 50” Gravity Pro 6 LED light bar, a pair of Gravity Pro 6 LED spot pattern off road lights, a pair of Gravity Pro 6 LED driving pattern off road lights, and a pair of G4 Gravity LED fog lights.
Next month I will be ordering the C series RGB multi color, multi use LED rock lights, a pair of Cyclone LED under hood lights and a pair of C2 LED flood beam pattern back up lights.

How is your daily driving with that set up? I have very similar and want to go dana 60's with 5.38 and 40" tires. I do drive it around town and So Cal. Right now I have 39" (bfg so run small) on dana 44 and 5.13 gears with RCV shafts. Looking to see how drivability is and with PSC on it?

It's been great as a daily driver. I drive it everyday and its road manners are awesome. Highway, around town, backroads, twisty's, you name it I've driven it and for a Jeep on 60's and 40's it really drives nice. PSC was a game changer for sure. Tires turn with ease and I would highly recommend having it with 40's. I'm actually wanting to add it to my wife's JT on 37's after driving hers around and feeling how hard it can be to move those tires with the OEM steering box.
