I think they will. All of the upcoming life simulators come with so much more than the Sims 4 base game. From looks, gameplay, objects, etc. I also hope Sims 4 UA-camrs who are mediocre, boring, vapid, and who built off their bases on terrible builds and boring CAS go down with them.

This is what I was guessing "openness" meant. I hope it's like an introversion/extroversion slider, that would be amazing. One reason sims all seem to have the same personality (especially without mods) is because they're all extroverts. Even sims with the loner trait will autonomously chat with anyone in the vicinity and then get tense because they want to be alone. So, stop randomly talking to people, yeesh! Annoying.
nah the openness in this Korean term means tolerance to how different a foreigner is to them. In Asia they do not trust foreigners. I'm American but honestly, I dont trust the West either.
@@VVinterl3ear I’m not quite sure what you’re talking about, but 관계 means relationship, not foreigner. The roadmap specifically talks about relationships between acquaintances, family, and strangers. 관계 개방성 is one of the sliders that is on the same page as sliders for love relationships, work relationships, etc.. Fearing foreigners from a different country isn’t mentioned in anything I’ve seen about the game.
Inzoi seems like a game i've always dream about 😍 my childhood dream 😄 and i'm also interested about Korea and it's culture. Koreans are so beautiful 🤗
They appear to be using the Metahumans for Unreal Engine, it's compatible with different quality settings while still looking fine, so i doubt the characters will be the issue for performance! The dynamic and detailed world however is a different story 😂
Personally if the world is not modable as in builds n the world are pretty set in stone minus maybe some decor or few details I think this probably actually makes it run more smoothly. Take sims 4 example if you have loads of mods n cc in your sims game then add a super detailed save file where there is loads of off grid (off lot) via tool mod details it literally lags ur game yet delete the save file n play with ea less detailed save n super empty looking lots then no longer lags equally play detailed save file with much less cc n less mods again no lag so I'm sure this game will run fine if only certain customisation can be done and doesn't involve the whole worlds plus characters and you don't need loads of mods added to enjoy the game more.
I actually really like how realistic the characters look. In the sims, i think alpha cc is uncanny valley, but in this game its realistic in like a more stylistic way imo if that makes sense and it doesn't look out of place alongside the environment and other characters. And i like all the features they've talked about so far, i actually hope this game is difficult when it comes to the consequences. Especially because of how much customization they are giving us. Quite literally the only critique i have is i hope they give us EXTREMELY customizable graphics settings because i just know that like 90% of pc's wouldn't be able to run it with how beautifully detailed it is now.
Though as a member of the lgbtqia+ i did wish they would be upfront about if there was same sex marriage. But im going to give them the benefit of doubt and say they're tiptoeing around it so that they might get funded more and that it will be a feature of the game. Because clearly with how diverse their character customization is, they still want to appeal to western cultures.

Good. I feel like one of the reasons sims 4 is so terrible woth loading screens is because of this. Most games you to either buy the console or have a good enough PC. I don't want them to compromise too much for people without gaming set ups.

This game currently just beat LBY and Paralives when it comes to my interests. I love the original features never seen before in the Sims or any of the games inspired by it like deciding the level of hostility in your world (both people and environment), the sleepwalking random events, car accidents, the mention of lore... my only worry is the same as Satch how it will run or how they will optimize it because even in the trailer there were some serious framedrops at times

The graphics make me feel like I’m gonna need an actual gaming PC to be able to play it, which I guess is fair enough in that you can’t whine about the quality of games if the device you’re playing them on isn’t up to spec, but like how accessible is this going to be for people who can’t afford a whole gaming rig is an interesting point of discussion. I play The Sims on my silly little surface laptop, and I was shocked that it could handle the sims 3 and 9 expansions all downloaded and running at the same time without much issue, which even the game itself warns against doing 😂 but I don’t see my little surface being able to handle this game lmao
you make a good point! a lot of fans of the life sim genre are also just really used to VERY low PC requirements tho bc the sims, but hopefully, maybe with enough optimizations and graphic options this game will be pretty accessible... 🙏 but also one of the reasons why the sims 4 was so massively successful is because how low the PC requirements were, like pretty much anyone with a laptop can play the sims which i think most likely will be EXTREMELY different from this game LMAO. we shall see tho im excited :3

I’m so buzzed for the sims to finally be getting some real competition after dominating the life sim genre for so long; it would be great to see EA actually pull their finger out and make some effort instead of just release half-arsed shite all the time because they’ve got no competition and they can get away with it in a sense
That was my first thought when I saw this game. Unfortunately its becoming more and more common that game developers are making games without much thought to optimization or accessibility. They're using all the latest technology and having fun with it without thinking about who will actually be able to play it. I have a decent gaming laptop and I haven't had any trouble playing the games I want to play so far, but just looking at this one is making me nervous lol

This game is 3rd on my list, LBY being first and Paralives being second. I am also concerned about how well the game will work on most computers. I'm intrigued by the little details they seem to be incorporating that will set the apart - like being hit by cars, sleep walking, the Karma system, adjustment to level of difficulty with relationships, etc. I think the CAS looks very customizable from the looks of it.
The game will work like how GTA 5 did on PC. Mind you i had a i3 8g ram no gpu at the time before i built my first pc and on my 2nd build. It will have settings for lower end, mid and high end pc’s.
I like what I've seen so far. They have some interesting new ideas, like the reputation and karma. I'm also happy they're talking about different difficulties, because that is something I've always longed for in the Sims, adjustable difficulty. I tried getting that via mods, but they don't always play together so well and naturally it's each mod on its own, they don't interact with each other. For InZoi, I'm just a bit afraid that they're showing off these cool new things that exist, but the "standard" things I expect might not or hardly be there, like hobbies (or free time activities in general, other than karaoke) etc. If my PC can handle it, I'll try it out anyway, I'm way to curious and also fed up with EA😅

About the part where u talked about same gender relationships / marriage. In Korea it is still a shush subject to talk about in public so they maybe did it like that so the game wont get shut down / canceled.

I think it might all come down to specific laws in SK regarding relationships in games. I don’t know how it is there but depending on the laws, they might have to word things weirdly just to be cautious. Tbh I have no problem with InZOI requiring higher spec PCs as several life sim games are coming out at the same time so it make sense that they will specialize into different niches. Players with older PCs will have games like Paralives, and players with gaming rigs can enjoy a more graphically intensive game like InZOI. Being able to choose from a range of games that have different system requirements is the norm in most genres, it would be good to see it happen in life sims too.
I have no idea how to feel about this game, but it seems it won't have the classic "Sims" feeling we are all used to. LBY and Paralives still have Sims vibes, but this is like a different genre. It's a lot closer to GTA domestic version 😂😂😂 They have not confirmed to my knowledge if the sims in your world are families with stories or if they are auto-generated.. Do these NPC sims have designated homes? Is there story progression..? Like, we have no idea how the world works. It seems they're going for features and general novelty over say story building. I just feel like it'll makes us see the sims genre in a competely new light.
They did mention earlier that you could jump straight in and pick already existing families to play with so they definitely should have homes. Although they never mentioned backstories i dont think.

THIS. I was thinking the same thing. Life By You and Paralives are more similar to the Sims in terms of vibes. Inzoi is more like a GTA game than the Sims. I will get Life By You since it has mod and offline support.
When it comes to the graphics and pc coping maybe its just a different better engine, like sims 4 could never handle those hq graphics but maybe they've optimised it, I play Cyberpunk 2077 on the same computer as i play sims 4 and cyberpunk never makes my computer go crazy and i have the graphics set quite high with ray tracing, the graphics are crisp and clear and HD like this and it never lags for me (i have a decent computer) but sims 4 makes the same computer sound like im on top of an aeroplane. Im not saying it will definitely run well i don't know, but im hoping they've just used a better engine or somehow it will be able to work, and there should be an optimised version for lower end computers i guess

Well I can say from the inzoi discord that it states "Yes. Inzoi will support same sex marriage." in the faq (frequently asked questions). I just think they don't talk about it in great detail because it's just seen as normal and a base feature of a lifesim game- which is honestly how I personally think it should always be. Unlike EA, they don't seem to be going to use a normal thing such as sexuality as a monetization feature, but a basic feature that can be expected either way. Gender? Idk. In the character creation screen it only says body type 1 and 2 so I'd assume they leave it up to the player itself to decide their personal gender in a way that needs not be clarified ingame, while the characters' genitals will depend on the bodytype. Honestly I think that's the best way to implement things like LGBTQ+, as it should be treated as a normal thing because it is.
looks pretty but where is the game? The Sims 2 was so great because it was not just a simulation but an actual game! This feels just like the Sims 4. 2.0 or Instagram gametime. Nice to look at and to create characters and buildings but when you start playing its empty.
I think seperation of reputation and karma is wonderful thing. They can have very complex characters, like a evil person with high reputation, or innocenet person with bad reputation.
I am actually excited about this game. I wish they'd give us a way to preorder... but I still think it's super amazing. The Karma system is fantastic and it's so different than the sims which makes me SO HAPPY!

I just can't shake the feeling that something feels off about inZOI. Maybe it comes from not ever hearing about it and suddenly it's supposed to be avaliable with so little information out there. It's possible that i'm traumatized from sims as well because I can't wrap my head about a game looking that good and being without a bunch of problems too. But honestly I don't think i'm gonna play it anyway. It smells microtransactions and a little fowl to me. For me, personally, it's not about graphics at all but what you're able to do in a lifesim to enhance gameplay and spend years exploring different possibilities to live out life. Or different alternatives to it. I really love the sims 3.
Me also, wish I could still play it. But, after not playing for a couple of years when I came back to it it was unplayable. Only had 3 mods all NAARAS.Updated all 3. Even tried buying it again on Steam pointless. I think EA intentionally makes 2 and 3 unplayable so people will be forced to buy 4 Oh, and when I say unplayable I don't mean glitchy, I mean will not even start at all, but THINKS it is running and I am playing.
I think this game is a perfect base that will evolve beautifully as it gets updates and as modders add to the game. I'm most curious about genetics with generations of families. I don't get the vibe that it's as big of a focus in the game, but I love to play sims simply to make families haha. I may be wrong, though. Either way, I'm super excited for this game. It's beautiful!
I had a dream last night that you could play the sims and do a road trip. Like it was like sims 3 driving but to travel for road trips and it would take days. Then if you put it on 4x speed it would just play road trip cutscenes like the sims 2 cutscenes but they would be road trip things. It was weird but cool. Now I’m watching this and find out something like that may happen, super exciting!
I think a lot of simmers misundertand what gaming systems are. A good gaming laptop doesn't cost much nowadays, you can get a really good one for under $800, i know that is still a lot of money, but it is not as expensive as it used to be and i'm sure you can find them even cheaper in second hand markets. I bought mine for equivalent of about 600 dollars. people think of gaming rigs like having a big ass pc, but gaming laptops are just as good and inexpensive and even nowadays you can have a good gaming rig for 500 dollars. so i don't think it will be an issue, people just need to change how they think about gaming systems. So you might need to change your potato pc but it won't cost you much more than what you probably paid for your current potato laptop when you bought it.
I think sexual orientation plays a very important role for me and any life simulation game as it represents life and life is full of diversity. I want to have a boyfriend and probably a family in my game, so it's definitely important for me and I completely agree LGBTQ community is everywhere in the world no matter what race or religion you are in.

I'm gonna be honest. The game looks amazing. However, the gameplay they have shown is not what I'm looking for at all. Relationships should build based on traits and how characters interact with each other due to those traits, not because of a game wide slider. I should be able to build every detail for my world instead of staring at some fake buildings that might look nice, but are either limited in my ability to interact with them or are not interactable at all. I am not a fan of Paralives graphics, but I'm going to buy it just to support their team because they are offering the type of gameplay I think life sims should be offering in this day and age. Same as LBY which I will be buying in June. The more I hear and see about InZoi the more I feel like it's a prettier and slightly more detailed, on a macro level, version of the Sims 4.
The slider appears to possibly adjust how quickly or easily relationships increase or decrease. Full green might be like SIms 4 0 to 100 in a single day kind of thing, you lose less if you mess up and you take a smaller penalty if you don't match up on traits. While Red you better be paying attention. I believe there was footage where you could select traits and what your avatar liked and disliked. I suspect that these will influence relationships.
There's something i dislike about all of them and some things i like about them. Personally i can't pinpoint the thing id take from paralives that id take from the rest though. Just about the only thing i think i did like from paralives was the screen shots of the bedrooms from like 2 years ago with the string lights because the room looked so fully decorated, personalized and aesthetic, but i don't like anything else about the game.
since this is a development build the performance of the game probably isn't their main priority now, if you look at their other pc games' minimum requirements they need a semi-decent pc to run them but nothing crazy like a 4090 or something. i doubt it will run if you don't have a graphics card (rip integrated graphics players) but i don't think it will be too resource intensive, but i haven't played it so i cant say much
The customization looks good, except that the body types currently are very limited. I hope that in the actual game there will be more advanced body sliders so people can make almost any body type. Also I hope the clothes aren't gender locked.
The more I see, the more exciting it gets. I hope it runs on my gaming laptop I got in 2020 or 2021. Someday, I will get a pc just for this lol. The graphics blow my mind and they don’t look scary to me! This level of graphics is what I have been dreaming about for a long time

inZOI visually looks really good, but i don't play the Sims just for life simulation, i play it for world building etc. so in that regard inZOI is severely lacking as does Sims 4. plus i NEVER play in cities, always in villages or small towns, so spending my inZOI life surrounded by blocks of cement is not what i want out of a Sims-like game. i like that there are so many new Sims-like games coming out because i want EA to get their shit together for Sims 5 and go back to what Sims used to be because i'd much rather play Sims than any other game like it. i'll always be a simmer at heart.
I wish we could also customize personality traits in these damn games.... Imagine you making the personality yourself, dragging the bar on what does what and then setting it as an in game option for you to choose and assign it to whatever character you want. Also i want to make my own custom worlds dammit! I'm so fucking tired of all these current year life sim games and not giving people creative options... They're offering everything i don't care for and never adding what i want.
To make the game work with Our computers, I think they Will make a radius zone around our character, so every person in the zone will have more details than the people outside it, and another one father away.
I think they're definitely using Metahumans for this which is why they look so realistic. But in my opinion, realistic doesn't always mean good. Because as you said, people's gaming systems being able to handle it but also stylistically. I feel having really realistic humans creates a sort of weird disconnect between the player and their characters? Looks super amazing and ambitious though!
What surprises me that nobody in the comments even mentions that the Inzoi team are not cheap in their animations. Everything is made realistically like how the zoi enters the car and closes the door. When handling anything the object doesn't jump itself to the zoi's hand like how cheap it is in Sims 4, but the zoi reaches to the object properly and handles it. It shows the game has been developed with care and elegance.

It’s made an unreal engine five, which is a much more stable engine most. Even with those graphics, for instance, an open world, unreal engine, five game leaves everything rendered at the same time, but uses less resources than a game that un render than while you’re not looking at them. So you’re a PC will probably be fine, and it will be on console for everyone else
I love the idea of a karma system. It'd be cool if, based on how much bad stuff you do, you're gonna be more or less likely to get hit by a car, be in a house fire, get fired or promoted, etc.
I hope they add other things similar to sleepwalking to the game and make it a uniques traits for some of the characters. (Ex: Night terrors, allergies, food intolerances, stimming, insomnia.) basically, things that not everybody has/experience. I think it would make the characters unique in their own little ways. It is not really necessary and I can see how it could be difficult to add to the game but if they plan to add other things like that, that would be great.
Literally nothing you wrote is a "trait", those are all medical and anomalies that rarely happen to people and is seen in few people, nor is it a personality quirk.
I personally don’t care too much about inclusivity or accessibility, so I don’t have a lot of concerns that Sim players seem to have. I remember some person played using their own PC and I don’t think the requirements were too high. Though if you’re using your old Mac then i doubt it’ll run. I watched a lot of Korean gameplay when they tested Inzoi and I think there are lot of interesting things that people aren’t aware of! Like, being able to use the flashlight of your phone? It’s so minor but I love the realism. I’m super excited for the the release so I can explore every little nook and cranny of the game 😂
inZOI graphics looking worse at release than right now would really disappointing, idc bout system requirement as long as RTX 30 series better GPUs can run it, they can implement DLSS too instead of lowering realism
With the Karma system it would be funny if you had a Zoi with really bad Karma and random bad things keep happening until you get their Karma back up to good

The life simulation market is ripe for the picking, the sims was pretty much the only game like this, and their slopiness has been leaving players craving more. Many people are ready to jump to whatever comes next, and considering there are so many sims players who want realism, this game appeals to them perfectly. I know everyone likes to pretend that westerners care so much about human rights they will sacrifice anything for it, but we know this is a complete lie. The beauty and downfall of modern western civilisation is that its extremely individualistic, no one will be getting in the trenches if their life doesn't depend on it so to speak 😂 Additionally, if the civil partnership operates the same as the marriages in game, I highly doubt anyone would care that its not called marriage. Yes, homosexuality exists everywhere in the world, but its not like the game is disregarding it, they are including forms of partnership, better than them not having the relationship type at all. We aren't on western grounds here, if the company hasn't marketed itself as being paragons of equality and inclusion, unfortunately moaning at them won't work. Only thing that works here is money, and probably korean opinion, and you won't be getting outcries from them that same sex legal unions are regarded as civil marriages.

I played game on mobile with similiar graphic and it worked just fine(8-16fps) on my outdated phone. I won't be suprised if that kind of graphic or similiar will be in game as these korean graphics are always crazy like that
While the realistic graphics are definitely impressive, I prefer a more artistic style, like the Sims. There was always a level of realism, but it wasn’t so much that it was going to obliterate any computer that isn’t top of the line.
The thing that still kind of concerns me about InZoi is in EVERY teaser or showcase video they have, you can see the game struggling with massive frame drops and low frame rate. I think the biggest detriment to InZoi will be it's performance.
i once fell down stairs when I was sleepwalking, I woke up as I was taking a step downstairs, and because it was the middle of the night with no lights on, I couldnt see naything and diddnt know what was happening and I ended up falling down, so the sleep walking could be interesting

I think they will. All of the upcoming life simulators come with so much more than the Sims 4 base game. From looks, gameplay, objects, etc. I also hope Sims 4 UA-camrs who are mediocre, boring, vapid, and who built off their bases on terrible builds and boring CAS go down with them.

One reason sims all seem to have the same personality (especially without mods) is because they're all extroverts. The roadmap specifically talks about relationships between acquaintances, family, and strangers. 관계 개방성 is one of the sliders that is on the same page as sliders for love relationships, work relationships, etc.. Fearing foreigners from a different country isn’t mentioned in anything I’ve seen about the game.

They appear to be using the Metahumans for Unreal Engine, it's compatible with different quality settings while still looking fine, so i doubt the characters will be the issue for performance! The dynamic and detailed world however is a different story 😂
That and the nanite that too will help the performance a lot
Personally if the world is not modable as in builds n the world are pretty set in stone minus maybe some decor or few details I think this probably actually makes it run more smoothly. Take sims 4 example if you have loads of mods n cc in your sims game then add a super detailed save file where there is loads of off grid (off lot) via tool mod details it literally lags ur game yet delete the save file n play with ea less detailed save n super empty looking lots then no longer lags equally play detailed save file with much less cc n less mods again no lag so I'm sure this game will run fine if only certain customisation can be done and doesn't involve the whole worlds plus characters and you don't need loads of mods added to enjoy the game more.
I actually really like how realistic the characters look. In the sims, i think alpha cc is uncanny valley, but in this game its realistic in like a more stylistic way imo if that makes sense and it doesn't look out of place alongside the environment and other characters. And i like all the features they've talked about so far, i actually hope this game is difficult when it comes to the consequences. Especially because of how much customization they are giving us. Quite literally the only critique i have is i hope they give us EXTREMELY customizable graphics settings because i just know that like 90% of pc's wouldn't be able to run it with how beautifully detailed it is now.
Though as a member of the lgbtqia+ i did wish they would be upfront about if there was same sex marriage. But im going to give them the benefit of doubt and say they're tiptoeing around it so that they might get funded more and that it will be a feature of the game. Because clearly with how diverse their character customization is, they still want to appeal to western cultures.

Good. I feel like one of the reasons sims 4 is so terrible woth loading screens is because of this. Most games you to either buy the console or have a good enough PC. I don't want them to compromise too much for people without gaming set ups.

This game currently just beat LBY and Paralives when it comes to my interests. I love the original features never seen before in the Sims or any of the games inspired by it like deciding the level of hostility in your world (both people and environment), the sleepwalking random events, car accidents, the mention of lore... my only worry is the same as Satch how it will run or how they will optimize it because even in the trailer there were some serious framedrops at times

The graphics make me feel like I’m gonna need an actual gaming PC to be able to play it, which I guess is fair enough in that you can’t whine about the quality of games if the device you’re playing them on isn’t up to spec, but like how accessible is this going to be for people who can’t afford a whole gaming rig is an interesting point of discussion. I play The Sims on my silly little surface laptop, and I was shocked that it could handle the sims 3 and 9 expansions all downloaded and running at the same time without much issue, which even the game itself warns against doing 😂 but I don’t see my little surface being able to handle this game lmao
you make a good point! a lot of fans of the life sim genre are also just really used to VERY low PC requirements tho bc the sims, but hopefully, maybe with enough optimizations and graphic options this game will be pretty accessible... 🙏 but also one of the reasons why the sims 4 was so massively successful is because how low the PC requirements were, like pretty much anyone with a laptop can play the sims which i think most likely will be EXTREMELY different from this game LMAO. we shall see tho im excited :3

That was my first thought when I saw this game. Unfortunately its becoming more and more common that game developers are making games without much thought to optimization or accessibility. They're using all the latest technology and having fun with it without thinking about who will actually be able to play it. I have a decent gaming laptop and I haven't had any trouble playing the games I want to play so far, but just looking at this one is making me nervous lol

This game is 3rd on my list, LBY being first and Paralives being second. I am also concerned about how well the game will work on most computers. I'm intrigued by the little details they seem to be incorporating that will set the apart - like being hit by cars, sleep walking, the Karma system, adjustment to level of difficulty with relationships, etc. I think the CAS looks very customizable from the looks of it.
The game will work like how GTA 5 did on PC. Mind you i had a i3 8g ram no gpu at the time before i built my first pc and on my 2nd build. It will have settings for lower end, mid and high end pc’s.
InZoi is so well detailed and advanced in every way, that I think it should be 1st place.
I like what I've seen so far. They have some interesting new ideas, like the reputation and karma. I'm also happy they're talking about different difficulties, because that is something I've always longed for in the Sims, adjustable difficulty. I tried getting that via mods, but they don't always play together so well and naturally it's each mod on its own, they don't interact with each other.
For InZoi, I'm just a bit afraid that they're showing off these cool new things that exist, but the "standard" things I expect might not or hardly be there, like hobbies (or free time activities in general, other than karaoke) etc. If my PC can handle it, I'll try it out anyway, I'm way to curious and also fed up with EA😅

Tbh I have no problem with InZOI requiring higher spec PCs as several life sim games are coming out at the same time so it make sense that they will specialize into different niches. Players with older PCs will have games like Paralives, and players with gaming rigs can enjoy a more graphically intensive game like InZOI. Being able to choose from a range of games that have different system requirements is the norm in most genres, it would be good to see it happen in life sims too.

I have no idea how to feel about this game, but it seems it won't have the classic "Sims" feeling we are all used to. LBY and Paralives still have Sims vibes, but this is like a different genre. It's a lot closer to GTA domestic version 😂😂😂 They have not confirmed to my knowledge if the sims in your world are families with stories or if they are auto-generated.. Do these NPC sims have designated homes? Is there story progression..? Like, we have no idea how the world works. It seems they're going for features and general novelty over say story building. I just feel like it'll makes us see the sims genre in a competely new light.
They did mention earlier that you could jump straight in and pick already existing families to play with so they definitely should have homes. Although they never mentioned backstories i dont think.

When it comes to the graphics and pc coping maybe its just a different better engine, like sims 4 could never handle those hq graphics but maybe they've optimised it, I play Cyberpunk 2077 on the same computer as i play sims 4 and cyberpunk never makes my computer go crazy and i have the graphics set quite high with ray tracing, the graphics are crisp and clear and HD like this and it never lags for me (i have a decent computer) but sims 4 makes the same computer sound like im on top of an aeroplane. Im not saying it will definitely run well i don't know, but im hoping they've just used a better engine or somehow it will be able to work, and there should be an optimised version for lower end computers i guess

Well I can say from the inzoi discord that it states "Yes. Inzoi will support same sex marriage." in the faq (frequently asked questions). I just think they don't talk about it in great detail because it's just seen as normal and a base feature of a lifesim game- which is honestly how I personally think it should always be. Unlike EA, they don't seem to be going to use a normal thing such as sexuality as a monetization feature, but a basic feature that can be expected either way. Gender? Idk. In the character creation screen it only says body type 1 and 2 so I'd assume they leave it up to the player itself to decide their personal gender in a way that needs not be clarified ingame, while the characters' genitals will depend on the bodytype. Honestly I think that's the best way to implement things like LGBTQ+, as it should be treated as a normal thing because it is.

I just can't shake the feeling that something feels off about inZOI. Maybe it comes from not ever hearing about it and suddenly it's supposed to be avaliable with so little information out there. It's possible that i'm traumatized from sims as well because I can't wrap my head about a game looking that good and being without a bunch of problems too. But honestly I don't think i'm gonna play it anyway. It smells microtransactions and a little fowl to me. For me, personally, it's not about graphics at all but what you're able to do in a lifesim to enhance gameplay and spend years exploring different possibilities to live out life. Or different alternatives to it. I really love the sims 3.
Me also, wish I could still play it. But, after not playing for a couple of years when I came back to it it was unplayable.
Only had 3 mods all NAARAS.Updated all 3. Even tried buying it again on Steam pointless. I think EA intentionally makes 2 and 3 unplayable so people will be forced to buy 4

I think this game is a perfect base that will evolve beautifully as it gets updates and as modders add to the game. I'm most curious about genetics with generations of families. I don't get the vibe that it's as big of a focus in the game, but I love to play sims simply to make families haha. I may be wrong, though. Either way, I'm super excited for this game. I had a dream last night that you could play the sims and do a road trip. Like it was like sims 3 driving but to travel for road trips and it would take days. Then if you put it on 4x speed it would just play road trip cutscenes like the sims 2 cutscenes but they would be road trip things. It was weird but cool. Now I’m watching this and find out something like that may happen, super exciting!

I think a lot of simmers misundertand what gaming systems are. A good gaming laptop doesn't cost much nowadays, you can get a really good one for under $800, i know that is still a lot of money, but it is not as expensive as it used to be and i'm sure you can find them even cheaper in second hand markets. I bought mine for equivalent of about 600 dollars. people think of gaming rigs like having a big ass pc, but gaming laptops are just as good and inexpensive and even nowadays you can have a good gaming rig for 500 dollars. so i don't think it will be an issue, people just need to change how they think about gaming systems. So you might need to change your potato pc but it won't cost you much more than what you probably paid for your current potato laptop when you bought it.
I think sexual orientation plays a very important role for me and any life simulation game as it represents life and life is full of diversity. I want to have a boyfriend and probably a family in my game, so it's definitely important for me and I completely agree LGBTQ community is everywhere in the world no matter what race or religion you are in.

I'm gonna be honest. The game looks amazing. However, the gameplay they have shown is not what I'm looking for at all. Relationships should build based on traits and how characters interact with each other due to those traits, not because of a game wide slider. I should be able to build every detail for my world instead of staring at some fake buildings that might look nice, but are either limited in my ability to interact with them or are not interactable at all. I am not a fan of Paralives graphics, but I'm going to buy it just to support their team because they are offering the type of gameplay I think life sims should be offering in this day and age. Same as LBY which I will be buying in June.
The more I hear and see about InZoi the more I feel like it's a prettier and slightly more detailed, on a macro level, version of the Sims 4.
The slider appears to possibly adjust how quickly or easily relationships increase or decrease. Full green might be like SIms 4 0 to 100 in a single day kind of thing, you lose less if you mess up and you take a smaller penalty if you don't match up on traits. While Red you better be paying attention.
I believe there was footage where you could select traits and what your avatar liked and disliked. I suspect that these will influence relationships.
There's something i dislike about all of them and some things i like about them. Personally i can't pinpoint the thing id take from paralives that id take from the rest though. Just about the only thing i think i did like from paralives was the screen shots of the bedrooms from like 2 years ago with the string lights because the room looked so fully decorated, personalized and aesthetic, but i don't like anything else about the game.

since this is a development build the performance of the game probably isn't their main priority now, if you look at their other pc games' minimum requirements they need a semi-decent pc to run them but nothing crazy like a 4090 or something. i doubt it will run if you don't have a graphics card (rip integrated graphics players) but i don't think it will be too resource intensive, but i haven't played it so i cant say much
I hope they add a family tree also along with aging options.
The customization looks good, except that the body types currently are very limited. I hope that in the actual game there will be more advanced body sliders so people can make almost any body type. Also I hope the clothes aren't gender locked.
The more I see, the more exciting it gets. I hope it runs on my gaming laptop I got in 2020 or 2021. Someday, I will get a pc just for this lol. The graphics blow my mind and they don’t look scary to me! This level of graphics is what I have been dreaming about for a long time

@@b1ak3 in someone playtesting , it did change the graphics a bit in what I saw personally . Anyways , there’s now various options like Paralives so if people don’t like inzoi , they can focus on the other upcoming life sim
@@emma-hx5wo honestly for me it’s not so much about the realness of the graphics but of the game itself. I like the quirkiness of the Sims. But we shall see!
inZOI visually looks really good, but i don't play the Sims just for life simulation, i play it for world building etc. so in that regard inZOI is severely lacking as does Sims 4. plus i NEVER play in cities, always in villages or small towns, so spending my inZOI life surrounded by blocks of cement is not what i want out of a Sims-like game. i like that there are so many new Sims-like games coming out because i want EA to get their shit together for Sims 5 and go back to what Sims used to be because i'd much rather play Sims than any other game like it. i'll always be a simmer at heart.
I wish we could also customize personality traits in these damn games.... Imagine you making the personality yourself, dragging the bar on what does what and then setting it as an in game option for you to choose and assign it to whatever character you want. Also i want to make my own custom worlds dammit! I'm so fucking tired of all these current year life sim games and not giving people creative options... They're offering everything i don't care for and never adding what i want.
To make the game work with Our computers, I think they Will make a radius zone around our character, so every person in the zone will have more details than the people outside it, and another one father away.
I think they're definitely using Metahumans for this which is why they look so realistic. But in my opinion, realistic doesn't always mean good. Because as you said, people's gaming systems being able to handle it but also stylistically. I feel having really realistic humans creates a sort of weird disconnect between the player and their characters? Looks super amazing and ambitious though!
What surprises me that nobody in the comments even mentions that the Inzoi team are not cheap in their animations. Everything is made realistically like how the zoi enters the car and closes the door. When handling anything the object doesn't jump itself to the zoi's hand like how cheap it is in Sims 4, but the zoi reaches to the object properly and handles it. It shows the game has been developed with care and elegance.
they used motion capture technology. it just shows that they spent tons of $$$ on it, not that they spent lots of time making it.

This is maybe to realist for me, wait and see for more information about gameplay. It’s still amazing but I fear I can’t run it on my pc.
It’s made an unreal engine five, which is a much more stable engine most. Even with those graphics, for instance, an open world, unreal engine, five game leaves everything rendered at the same time, but uses less resources than a game that un render than while you’re not looking at them. So you’re a PC will probably be fine, and it will be on console for everyone else

I love the idea of a karma system. It'd be cool if, based on how much bad stuff you do, you're gonna be more or less likely to get hit by a car, be in a house fire, get fired or promoted, etc.
I hope they add other things similar to sleepwalking to the game and make it a uniques traits for some of the characters. (Ex: Night terrors, allergies, food intolerances, stimming, insomnia.) basically, things that not everybody has/experience. I think it would make the characters unique in their own little ways.
It is not really necessary and I can see how it could be difficult to add to the game but if they plan to add other things like that, that would be great.
Literally nothing you wrote is a "trait", those are all medical and anomalies that rarely happen to people and is seen in few people, nor is it a personality quirk.
I personally don’t care too much about inclusivity or accessibility, so I don’t have a lot of concerns that Sim players seem to have. I remember some person played using their own PC and I don’t think the requirements were too high. Though if you’re using your old Mac then i doubt it’ll run. I watched a lot of Korean gameplay when they tested Inzoi and I think there are lot of interesting things that people aren’t aware of! Like, being able to use the flashlight of your phone? It’s so minor but I love the realism. I’m super excited for the the release so I can explore every little nook and cranny of the game 😂
inZOI graphics looking worse at release than right now would really disappointing, idc bout system requirement as long as RTX 30 series better GPUs can run it, they can implement DLSS too instead of lowering realism

With the Karma system it would be funny if you had a Zoi with really bad Karma and random bad things keep happening until you get their Karma back up to good

The life simulation market is ripe for the picking, the sims was pretty much the only game like this, and their slopiness has been leaving players craving more. Many people are ready to jump to whatever comes next, and considering there are so many sims players who want realism, this game appeals to them perfectly.
I know everyone likes to pretend that westerners care so much about human rights they will sacrifice anything for it, but we know this is a complete lie. The beauty and downfall of modern western civilisation is that its extremely individualistic, no one will be getting in the trenches if their life doesn't depend on it so to speak 😂
Additionally, if the civil partnership operates the same as the marriages in game, I highly doubt anyone would care that its not called marriage. Yes, homosexuality exists everywhere in the world, but its not like the game is disregarding it, they are including forms of partnership, better than them not having the relationship type at all.
We aren't on western grounds here, if the company hasn't marketed itself as being paragons of equality and inclusion, unfortunately moaning at them won't work. Only thing that works here is money, and probably korean opinion, and you won't be getting outcries from them that same sex legal unions are regarded as civil marriages.
Westerners can't handle not getting things their way from crying and complaining for once. Im pretty sure koreans will be playing this game as well.

I played game on mobile with similiar graphic and it worked just fine(8-16fps) on my outdated phone. I won't be suprised if that kind of graphic or similiar will be in game as these korean graphics are always crazy like that
Korean games go HARD on character customization and the games still work on mid tier PCs, i would wait to judge how it runs

While the realistic graphics are definitely impressive, I prefer a more artistic style, like the Sims. There was always a level of realism, but it wasn’t so much that it was going to obliterate any computer that isn’t top of the line.
The thing that still kind of concerns me about InZoi is in EVERY teaser or showcase video they have, you can see the game struggling with massive frame drops and low frame rate. I think the biggest detriment to InZoi will be it's performance.
i once fell down stairs when I was sleepwalking, I woke up as I was taking a step downstairs, and because it was the middle of the night with no lights on, I couldnt see naything and diddnt know what was happening and I ended up falling down, so the sleep walking could be interesting

The game is pretty much fine for me I don't need to put nothing extra in it I just see what I see and it's just good enough😊 developers have to go through so much😊 because everybody's such a crybaby😊 I'm okay but I'm looking at it looks good I want it it will be mine I don't really complain that much only when people complain too much
