as far as i know its not AI vocied, they are just foreigners with vocie changers on. field intensity, made by the same people ,is a fantatsic expansion styled mod you should check out too

Joel if you like mundane games have you ever considered playing The Long Dark? It’s a survival game set in northern Canada after after a solar storm knocks out all power on the planet and you have to scrounge and survive from hostile wildlife and the cold. There are long periods of walking from place to place with nothing happening with only your thoughts, the forest, and a really good soundtrack keeping you company.
I dislike the HD models in the base game because it clashes with the original level of detail. If a modder intended for the HD models to be used I use them.

Thought i had dé ja vu, Vinny played this before. A really good HL mod is HL: Echoes where you play a scientist, it feels like an expansion pack with some decent puzzles and set pieces. I played Gunman Chronicles way back, it uses the gldsrc engine but it's a whole seperate game. I liked it, it's good if you're a fan of the engine and games of the time otherwise maybe pass. It was one of those 'sold out' budget releases. The Blue Shift remake is awesome so far and there's a demo for Decay but single player on steam (not sure if its still in development).
