I understand this song so much right now and I am so hungry and can't go on any longer. I know how the power of God has stirred in my soul when I allowed Him to have total control of my life. The feeling of being out of God's will is worse, to me, than being lost because I know how God's grace and mercy is so amazing and I never dreamed in a million years that I would stop working for the Lord but here I am , empty, hungry, longing to have this empty vessel full again and allow my precious Savior to work through me like I know I need to be doing. I want to be back, worshipping again with God's children and ask Him to forgive me for sitting down on Him for over a decade now. I can't eat or sleep and I know why! ! I traveled to SC last year for the GVB Reunion because in my wildest dreams I never thought I would have the privilege to meet Michael. The entire weekend was wonderful, but finally talking to and holding Michael (I am 76 yrs. old) was a dream come true. Please read his book...The Prodigal Comes Home...it will explain the emotions of so many in this video. Does anyone know if there is a video of his speaking before this is sung?

There have been plenty of times I have felt as lonely as you have stated. My marriage was over, my most precious relationship taken away from me by vengeful people, my life as I saw it was over. In fact I was very close to taking my own life earlier this year because of the hopelessness and despair I felt. My prayer that I posted came from a person who shed gallons of tears earlier this year. I dare say, Michael knows that pain as well as he was also suicidal. One person came to me with a single suggestion, one that seemed laughable to me, except God had a bigger plan than my feeble eyes could see. HE restored my marriage, and my life and I am in the process of regaining that relationship that was taken from me. I would never encourage you to stay in a dangerous relationship as my sister is still dealing with the fallout of being in a toxic relationship many years later. Please know that what I am fervently praying for is for God to send you someone who can show you the way home, because there is a way. Remember that the same God who placed billions of stars in the sky, spoke the laws that run the universe into existence, and that scientists still haven't figured out, knows exactly how many hairs are on your head. He sent His only Son to die for you because the CREATOR LOVES YOU!!!! As a Christ-follower I love you too, and know that prayers are being raised on your behalf right now. Crazy thing is, when this was released, not very many of the fans knew about his addiction to pain killers, those that welcomed him back, especially Vestal, that’s my kind of people. The Homecoming group stuck with Michael but the Gospel Music industry did not. His record label dropped him because of the scandal just like they did to Sandi Patty. They hold there artist to a high standard. Michael and been to them a number of times And told them he wanted a divorce they forbid it. He was so unhappy this was the end result! Thank God for people like Vestal that supported and loved him thru the garbage. She helped Sandi Patty as well. Vestal was the Mother Superior of this group!!

I traveled to SC last year for the GVB Reunion because in my wildest dreams I never thought I would have the privilege to meet Michael. The entire weekend was wonderful, but finally talking to and holding Michael (I am 76 yrs. old) was a dream come true. Please read his book...The Prodigal Comes Home...it will explain the emotions of so many in this video. Does anyone know if there is a video of his speaking before this is sung?

There have been plenty of times I have felt as lonely as you have stated. My marriage was over, my most precious relationship taken away from me by vengeful people, my life as I saw it was over. In fact I was very close to taking my own life earlier this year because of the hopelessness and despair I felt. My prayer that I posted came from a person who shed gallons of tears earlier this year. I dare say, Michael knows that pain as well as he was also suicidal. The Homecoming group stuck with Michael but the Gospel Music industry did not. His record label dropped him because of the scandal just like they did to Sandi Patty. They hold there artist to a high standard. Michael and been to them a number of times And told them he wanted a divorce they forbid it. He was so unhappy this was the end result! While listening to this song, I now know why Mark Lowry says Vestal Goodman carries a big hanky. She has open arms & a drawing spirit for the hurting heart & soul & many must feel they can go to her & her spirit soothes the hurting. I even broke down while listening to it. I'm so Blessed by God when I hear this song. And you can tell that Micheal is sincere coming back in Christian ✝️ life. And when he went to Vestal and she held him as he crying you can see he's sincere bout his relationship to God. My heart just so happy for him coming back to God &Praising God and back in Christian life. I'm so proud of Michael I love this guy and his family so much.
