- Michael English, a distinguished American Christian music artist, commenced his career at a young age and rose to prominence in the gospel music arena. Born in Kenansville, North Carolina, English began singing with the Happy Goodman Family when he was just a teenager. Later, he became a vital part of the Gaither Vocal Band, showcasing his exceptional vocal range and artistry.
As the lead singer for the Gaither Vocal Band in the late '80s, Michael English helped popularize modern Southern gospel.

I want to know why the Church of Jesus Christ on this planet condenms a man or woman for making a mistake, Once the sin is repented of God forgives it NEVER to be remembered no more. So why do His church not let it go. God has forgiven him we should also.

Few people yes very few choose to remind man or woman of their sins but most believers love to encourage n enjoy the love n grace of God
Mark Lowry said it best. "Sometimes God puts His greatest gifts in the most broken pots". Im thankful that this broken pot God still sees fit to fill. His grace, forgiveness, and unwavering love is so undeserved. Im thankful that when we seek His face and ask for forgiveness, He tosses our sin into the sea of forgetfulness and posts a sign, "no fishing here". Once forgiven, it's forgotten! No matter how many times we try to remind HIM, He has no memory of it. It's under the Blood of the Lamb. Covered, washed clean, spotless.
I know i fail daily. I struggle daily. I'm the absolute worst. Yet even then when i run back, i find open arms and a tender forgiveness I'm so undeserving of. If it weren't for grace, i don't know where I'd be. Chance after chance, He's the only one who hasn't stopped searching for me.
My favorite singer, always will be - his story is what makes him so beautiful. God bless Him forever, please. In Jesus' Name

Christian music is really bad about building people up. When they prove they’re regular humans and make mistakes, they turn their backs on them. As a Christian, that infuriates me. They did it to Sandi Patty, Amy Grant, and others.

I've known Mike along time, he's a friend for sure, one of the most anointed singers i've ever known, one of the grestest singers in the world.

Aww this has touched my heart. One of these days we're all going to be with one another at home with Jesus, and what a glorious day that will be, hallelujah!! When we ALL get home, we're going to be singing around the thrown singing to our Lord and Savior. I pray come Jesus come. God bless you Michael and all my other brothers and sisters in Christ.

I am always going to listen to both Michael English and Sandi Patty. They both made terrible mistakes, but by God's Grace and Mercy he knows we are human and he knows we can always go to him and ask forgiveness. Thank You so much for these two people and God they all taught me that God's Grace and Mercy is real and I feel his Grace and Mercy at home, church, and out in public. I wonder why his drug addiction wasn't addressed; it's in his book. His road to recovery is so powerful. I'm so glad he is back and that God has washed him white as snow.

Micheal has been through so much ....I can relate to his struggles because I struggle with the same issues...his struggles with addiction and self destructive behavior that have left him in some dark places. He has used his love of music to get him through. He is not ashamed to admit that he has made some really bad choices. He has had to lean on God during these dark times but you can tell he loves the Lord and people. He especially loves his fans and his fans love him. I first heard him sing years ago and I have followed his career since then. We love you Michael and we pray for you every single day. God still has so much instore for you. Just keep your eyes on God and you will be fine. Keep sharing that awesome voice with us and this bleeding world that needs you. God Bless You!

This video feels me heart with a joyful sound. Thank you for posting I love all about Gaither family. I was with them in 1981 Covenant College. Thank you singers with the voices of many angels.
Michael's, 'Midnight Cry', with Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir is one of the best recordings, ever.. IMO, of course. It's on the 1991, Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir, Live with Friends, which is one of the best Gospel albums ever. Every song is just stunning.
Individual will t live in hell but telling God and Mercy want in Heaven and people remind of sin remember God gave Messiah so live in perfection. And They shove up ass because you living consequences of actions but living for in His Mercy and Release of Consequences.Galatians 5 ..And those who belong to Christ Jesus crucified the flesh(character of humankind eg. immorality grudge holding,division ,alcoholism and such) passion and desire. then further it goes to say if there is transgression then someone spiritual come along and support .Remember Moses was given ten thing common to life after Adam and Eve exposed knowledge of Evil... in life that need to brought before Holy of Holy .Im sharing this with you as I had someone who all my life wouldn't let one thing go that she felt was wrong and my son is dead.

Not sure what all the hype is over this guy.
You may be too young to remember Michael English at the height of his career. 4 dove awards, and there was no one that could sing like Michael. I saw him at the National Quartet Convention in Kentucky. He could belt out a song like no other! This "guy" has done great things for the gospel of Jesus Christ.
I read his book and it plainly showed him as a narcissist. I bought his book the night I met him and I found him arrogant.

Listen to Michael sing for starters you'll come to know of his great voice, then listen to his greatest songs he sung with the Gaither vocal band, and other groups he sang with. The list goes on and on.
