both Feathers and Fur. Frank Russell's congenial manner and
accomplished teaching style lend to the

good explination of the finishing of these carvings, but would be nice to have a link to a video of the start of the carving process ( wood blank) to see how you got here, as one hopes you used these tools, or engraving/carving tools on these motors to do it.

I truly appreciate the valuable knowledge you have shared with everyone. I had my DVD out, and was about to open it, but figured I would see what UA-cam had to offer. It looks as though the DVD info is all here.
One criticism I have; to put it bluntly, the camera angle was possibly in the worst position available, especially during the feather shaping & burning. I mean no offense, but I couldn't see the pen/bit touching the wood through your hand. The whole point of a video is to show people what it is you're doing as you explain it. If we can't see the workpiece, then we might as well read a book with pictures, or listen to a podcast. That being said, the artist did a very good job at explaining exactly what it was he was doing & why.
Again, thank you so very much for the videos. I hope the camera angle critique helps for future videos, and hopefully I didn't come across as being rude.
Have an outstanding day y'all ✌️🐻

We agree! We appreciate your criticism. 20 years ago when we made the original video we were just learning how to do things. We will incorporate your comments when making future videos.

Thanks for you comment! Without re-watching it myself I can provide a link. We have a big kit that has the burs he uses on our website with a list: www.foredom.net/product/ak22-frank-russell-woodcarving-kit-33-pc/ and we have a smaller kit www.foredom.net/product/ak23-frank-russell-woodcarving-kit-basic-22-pc/ with a list. People often just get one or two that they need, but some people want the whole kit.

@@ForedomElectricCo good to know, but what about which handpiece, and the motor type/model used (ie: flex_shaft with tx motor, or micromotor).
