Hi Tom, You're a world-class instructor. Love viewing common mistakes and how best to address them. I highly recommend that you viewers buy Tom's book and ask that he autograph it for you! Best, Phil
I was just reading your book "Creating a World Rig" (Starting page 93) where you described the technique. It was so helpful for understanding the technique by seeing you demonstrate it. Thanks so much!
Enjoyed the video, Tom. I've never made a gunning decoy, I will have to give one a shot and try that vermiculation method out. thanks so much for doing these videos

Thanks very much Phil!
I used this technique on a few dozen gadwall drakes.
I get compliments every time they get hunted over.
Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for that feedback. Great to hear!
Great stuff again...Cheers from Southern Ontario.

Great! Glad it was helpful Brian.
I'm going to have to review this a few times. I had a basement flood in December 19th and Tom's book was one of the casualties.😢
Excellent description of combing! Thanks Tom!
Thanks very much Paul! I hope this will be helpful to those that are not familiar with combing.
Another great video, Tom! Thanks!

You are welcome John! Thanks for taking a look.
Great Tom It seems like the sponged first coat gives you a foundation to add combed 2nd coat. This helped me greatly Thanks
Great to hear that. I am glad the video helped out! Thanks for the comment.
Thanks Tom! What is the namn of the tool you use for vermiculation?
It’s a texturing comb. Here is one that the Jaymes Company offers (not repping for them, just an example I found).
