I loved the section of this video where you featured the work of the CCC boys. I have 4 camps in my area of western New York state where these boys lived and worked. Two of my uncles worked for the CCC, their motto was "we can take it". This was a very good video and I enjoyed it a lot. Pretty cool that your daughter sold her goats to buy this truck. Good luck on this project, I will be watching for more videos on it.
Love the historical segment on the CCC. We have a squarebody that was a conservation truck. Also, the debate clip was hilarious and timely. Finally, I'm glad to see the wheels go.
Wonderful that you should provide such a great tribute to the CCC, a huge part of our nation's history. Most people will never know the massive amount of national infrastructure built by the CCC, TVA, and the WPA. Roads, bridges, dams, many still in use today. What many people don't know is that in the more rural and mountainous regions (particularly in Appalachia) the Federal government in any form wasn't wanted or welcome. About 40 years ago, I met an old man (in his 70's or early 80's) in Eastern Ky and was commenting on the many secondary roads that sometimes seemed to lead to nowhere special. He told me that those roads were cut and paved by the WPA... (The Da**d Government, his words). He also told me that in the early 40's they had a saying in those parts, "I'd rather have a sister working in a (bad house) than a brother on the WPA!!" Always thought that was funny...
The spring on the right hand side goes on the driver's side and the one on the driver side probably goes on the right hand side cuz we're at the spring is at the top with curls in all the way that's the part that sits on the inside of the pocket
I would of cut the firewall along the top and bottom then down the middle then would of tried to bend it into cab might of to had use some heat but it's cool you guys are saving apart of history and making memories that she will have for a lifetime and pass down to her children
How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time. Looks like you're starting to make some progress on the project, one bite at a time. Hang in there as it will be well worth it when you get to drive it for the first time.
Thanks for the feedback. This is definitely her truck, we’re making plans for it together, her dreams and my loose grip on reality and a budget, and it will be a major part of the channel going forward as a tow rig.
I love watching you guys working together. Anyone doing projects with kids can relate with what happens on your channel. Keep making those videos!
Thanks man!

Thanks. We’re glad they’re gone too.
I'm not sure if you noticed, but I've been finding more and more car parts on Amazon. Cheaper than eBay. Faster delivery too.
I have noticed that.

I absolutely appreciate your all videos absolutely keep up the awesome work ❤😊
Thank you so much 😃
That truck has an interesting story.
The spring on the right hand side goes on the driver's side and the one on the driver side probably goes on the right hand side cuz we're at the spring is at the top with curls in all the way that's the part that sits on the inside of the pocket
Reinstalled as removed, so the curl in the top went the same way on the new spring as the old spring. I don’t think they’re side-specific.
I would of cut the firewall along the top and bottom then down the middle then would of tried to bend it into cab might of to had use some heat but it's cool you guys are saving apart of history and making memories that she will have for a lifetime and pass down to her children
That’s a great idea, wish you’d told me that three days ago! 😂
@@Xthreadgarage sorry I'm a little behind on the videos but it's coming along nicely and we all learn things every day sometimes and late

Have you watched Puddins Fab Shop?
Of course, Puddin’s top of my watch list each week.
I thought this is her truck? You make it sound like it is yours with all the plans for it.
