What an excellent haul! Super Spy is perhaps my favourite Matt Kindt work, which is saying a lot since I love so much by him. But I have a true soft spot for this one. That deluxe looks lovely, but I don't know if I am going to double dip yet. That coded cover sure puts a thumb on the scales though. I have always really appreciated the marginalia-puzzles of Kindt's comics. I'll be catching up on your Shuna and Einstein videos as soon as I read them myself, but looking through a few of your other videos I have to heartily commend the upgrades in audio, video, editing, the intros - leaps and bounds, my friend!

Make your mind up 😝 Oddly, I never seem to get round to properly reading any Lone Wolf and Cub despite knowing about it for ages. Looks like the omnibus is the way to go though. I have a suspicion I got a digital bundle some time ago so might check that out first. And finally just to say that was a brilliant video as always, and please excuse all my babbling. Great haul, I had to put Super Spy on my list thanks to you. And I'm with you on the Colossal Editions. They're far from perfect but it's the best edition for now. Hope AoT and Lone Wolf will get the deluxe treatment just like Vinland Saga later this year!

Now THAT is a haul! It’s the manga, isn’t it? Once you peek into that rabbit hole one day you wake up with 3000+ volume collection. But it’s only five series that are all still ongoing😅 Killing and Dying is great pick. It’s strange and complex, silly and warm and offers no explanations - a bit like life. I always think of the word Hortisculpture when I see this.
Manga does bulk up things for sure particularly if you tend to buy a chunk at a time like I tend to do. Looking forward to killing and dying so glad to hear it’s worth a read. I had to google that word so you are educating me!
@@OffMyShelves Haha!, I didn’t know Hortisculpture was a real word. Thought it was made up for the story. We’re both learning. I must say I’ve followed closely the way you get all the volumes in one go once you’re committed to a serie. I’m trying to push myself to do the same with mixed results. I don’t enjoy digi-comics as much but I’m beginning to think it’s a useful way to test longer series before comitting.
Great Haul Chris…and a great buzz cut as well! Just finished Gideon Falls 1&2. You definitely won’t be disappointed there. Onto Super Spy myself next, and got to say it’s a brilliantly put together book. Keep ‘em coming mate

After discussing these and watching this. I now want attack on titan and lone wolf and cub. Im going to look into them online first of all. Another fine haul.

Yep, the ones Chris mentioned are amazing stories and also really accessible if you're new to manga. I would also like to add Death Note and Chainsaw Man. They're not too lengthy, one is a supernatural crime thriller and CSM is an action packed comedy horror. Maybe you can give some genres or comics you like to help you?

@@barryponsford2433 it would be right to left the Japanese way. You really do get used to it fairly quickly tbh so don’t be put off.
