Great video Unfortunately it is difficult to see which wires you hooked together. I am installing the same LED strip on a grande 303 Any information would be great
I notice on some of these sort of installations people use the screws as well to mount them on the back of the RV. After a year, how have you found that the adhesive has held up?
I ordered two of these: Nilight TR-04 Truck Tailgate Bar 60" Triple Row 504 LED Strip with Red Brake White Reverse Sequential Amber Turning Signals Strobe Lights,2 Years Warranty a.co/d/6d0mPiN
We purchased the same lights for our Grand Design 337RLS fifth wheel. Connected them and the turn signals worked with the truck key turned to "on" position, but will not work with the truck started, any suggestions? It's bizarre and frustrating!
With our installation, the wiring was hard to figure out. I would go back and recheck to see if those connections are correct and especially if the factory turn signals still work. It’s been too long for me to remember the colors of the wires so I’m no help there. Hope you get this sorted out
Never thought of mounting them vertically. Looks great Genius.
Just found this and it's EXACTLY what I needed to know! THANKS and SAFE TRAVELS!
That's a great idea, im looking into putting more marker lights on my trailer. This one looks great.
Looks good 👍🏻 definitely brighter and see you alot better.
Thanks! It was a good improvement project to complete.
That's a great idea. Thank you
It makes such a difference when changing lanes in traffic. Much easier for other vehicles to see you and let you over!
You should have bought the one with the reverse light also, cause it also helps.
I have a Grand Design Reflection which color wires from LED light attach to RV color wires. Our trailers should have the same wiring.
They should be standard trailer colors. If not, check your manual.

Hey thanks for this! Just checking - you took off the 4-pin connector from this, correct?
What’s the name of the lights you installed? Or information on them
Any chance you remember which color wires do what? Would help tons for those that have GD.
Honestly I don’t. I had such a hard time figuring it out, it didn’t stick. I used a multimeter and tested each wire and made a note.

It’s held up great. We just traveled from Mississippi to Florida the past two days and everything is working as should.
Great video and installation. How much did you charge your husband for your labor : )
What truck tailgate lights did you order?? From Amazon??? GREAT idea…I want to do same thing…

Note the ones I bought didn’t work as I needed a 6 function and not a 5 function
