Yes. Technically it's not illegal. But dealerships prefer you take out finance for their cars and some may even charge you a higher price for cash. Plus even if they accept full cash they would want a bank transfer for that amount of money rather than having all that cash lying about and having to go to the bank with it. Although for low price cars some dodgy dealers will accept paper cash to avoid paying tax.
