I've been following your videos for several months since I started learning piano as an addition to my private classes. It has been so helpful. It's really generous of you to open up your courses for free. Thank you, Sir. Stay safe and Merry Christmas!
I have been using your videos since August and I've made it this far without an outside teacher thanks to you. The journey has been hard at times, but I've learned so much. Thank you for your generous contribution to the music education world.
Fantastic. Great teacher. I have this book Alfred 1, 2 and 3 with DVD included. A gift from my wife some years ago during our vacation in Orlando, Florida U.S.A. I just subscribe to keep up to date while getting lessons from a local Pianist. Greetings from Curacao. A very small Island in the Caribbean on the North side of Venezuela and East of Aruba. You are doing a great job. Once again many thanks. I am following you. Nel.
I have my private lesson and also using your video to master this piece. Thanks. Maybe in a few weeks I will be done with Book 1 (starting 1 1/2 years back -)
Great!! Do they give us the natural sign on B in 7th measure because of the slur line (if Im using that term correctly)? Or are they truly “being nice” and it really isn’t needed since we are in a new measure?
I think you are correct in that the slur can be confusing to some people so it is best to be clear. The natural is not really needed, except to be clear.
5 years later and this is still absolute gold. Thank you sir.
You're welcome!
You the Man! My teacher told me about this site WOW. I can practice steady all week and also hear it played when he feel slowed down

"If you not blues yet, you will be". 😄
I never really listened to blues, untill I started learning piano with this book. it's fun to play and sounds warmer than the other melodies
Hi again from your 50 year old Student from NJ,
Hi.
Thanks, from Canada
You're welcome.
Any advice on swinging the notes ? I usually play the note regularly or completely wrong. Any tips ?
I don't really have any more to say on swinging the notes other than what I explain in the video. You just swing the counting and feel the rhythm.

@@LetsPlayPianoMethods got it, thank you!
Can I keep my left hand on the keys when I’m playing the chords or should I lift them up like how you do it?
It is your choice. There is no rule. Just have your left hand where it needs to be before it has to play any notes.
Which song in Alfred's Adult Piano courae, Level 1 do you think is hardest and longest to learn to play smoothly?
It is hard to tell. Everyone is different.
