What do you think Franklin's going to do about Teddy? 👀
Everyone has a wild card, just gotta know how to use it
Listen until he see different but he will have a plan
Idk
@Ichigo Kurosaki (Substitute Soul Reaper) facts this show is crazy got me rooting for teddy and Franklin there’s 3 protagonist Franklin teddy and Gustavo and I’m rooting for all 3 character development in this show is unmatched and I’m sad next season it’s all over

franklin was being manipulative back to teddy
Even though some of us dislike Teddy but can we give a hand to CARTER HUDSON 🔥🔥 for portraying this role and Embodying his character
@Ichigo Kurosaki (Substitute Soul Reaper) I don't like louie she always wants more and is ungrateful asf
For sure, if I ever see him in real life I’m calling him teddy lol
Great acting performance
Teddy the best character in this show. T
Yes I can't stand her.
Franklin offered Teddy a cigar, because he felt uncomfortable & felt as if Teddy might try to harm him & he gave him a weird vibe. In other words he wasn't offering Teddy a cigar to be nice, he offered him a cigar, because that's where he kept his closet gun at inside the cigar box, that's why he left the box open after he gave him the cigar. Teddy didn't peep that. This scene showed the tension in the air between Franklin & teddy & showed that Franklin doesn't trust teddy AT ALL. That's why when Teddy left the house they showed us Franklin had a gun inside his Cigar box.
You hit it on the nail
Teddy did know he never turned his back to Franklin when he was near the cigar box , I’m more than sure teddy inspected the place before going in
@@Silverwarcrimes literally has his back turned at the door when he’s leaving haha
makes sense
@@Silverwarcrimes facts bro he had to check the place out before and seen it did you peep how teddy looked at franklin twice before he was getting ready to walk to the door
This scene was about control. Teddy likes to control people he feels is expendable. Franklin was trying to go legit, and it clearly bothered Teddy. It was never about Franklin growing, it was about how much Teddy could get out of Franklin. Franklin realizes this and starts to turn the gears in how to separate. Franklin knew at this moment, Teddy just looked at him as an expendable Black dope dealer, not a human being.
You summed it perfectly!
Looking back at it right after this conversation Franklin should of either killed Teddy or started stashing extra bread for himself that wasn’t in that off shore bank!
@@saviannugent8823yup
@@lilkeef464 Exactly, except that I would go further. Franklin should have always kept most of his money out of those banks. He needed multiple stash houses that various confidants -- Peaches, Veronique, Cissy, etc. -- knew about separately, with only Franklin knowing about all of them. Getting snaked by Peaches was not the only reason for this. Stash locations can go up in flames or be compromised otherwise.
This conversation should have been a massive wake-up call, but the truth is that dealing with the CIA in general was a shaky proposition. I just re-watched season 5, and I am now convinced that Teddy was always going to "recover" all of Franklin's money that he could get his hands on once Franklin had outlived his usefulness to Teddy.
As smart as Franklin was, he was short sighted as hell, and never took heed to things until he saw smoke and fire. Right after Teddy left is when I would've been on a plane extracting my money from the offshore accounts.
I like how Franklin realizes reed talks about the old agent in past tense
It's Franklin giving Reed the cigar with the long reach for me 😂
Ha I didn't even catch that. That was cold haha.
Franklin stuck near the entrance, thinking it was just a short visit, he didn't anticipate it being anything more til Teddy began "roaming". Asking for the lighter was a test. It didn't look like some cheap Bic from the gas station. Established power dynamics. Teddy and Franklin are way different from S1.
@@rare.phukin.spotted.halibut wonderful analysis xD
That’s a good catch kept Teddy at arms reach.
I Thought Was Only Doing It Cause Of Covid Ig
He literally told Franklin that he’s not his friend and doesn’t have his best interest at heart he was talking abut Grady but him and Grady had the same job he literally told on himself
Exactly. Franklin wasn't paying attention. Teddy disposed of Grady and recovered Grady's assets. That's all Franklin needed to know.
As smart as Franklin was, he never heeded the signs until he smelled smoke and saw fire smh.
@Tes7000 facts Leon was even trying to tell him the reason why teddy killed grady
@@Igetsitin89what did Leon say? I forgot
@Kcinthasun he told him that teddy killed grady because teddy seen how they was elevating up & teddy didn't like that
Teddy’s phony interest in Franklin’s life at the beginning of the scene is disconcerting. Fine acting
The hype of the show is the aesthetic, the era, location etc. It's the idea of the show that is the coolest part
true, it might not have the same production as breaking bad but it seems to capture the "real" emotions and actions, unlike other shows. I always think about the rape scene in season 1. Thats real. Ugly things in a real-world of people born in the wrong place. Franklin just wanted to finish college.
This scene is as tense as Franklins buttons on his shirt 😂
😂
Crazy to think of who Teddy was in season 1 to now 🤯
Was crying over Alejandro killing that girl and look at him now
hes still a lil biaaaaaash
Right! He was straight goofy in season 1
He was naive , well clean & put together & less stressed out but as the seasons went by and more and more trauma he lost his self , he start dressing worse , smoking cigs & doing coke .
Been trash since season1
I love the last lines about the Coke price and how Teddy wasn’t going to honor Grady’s price. The tone in which he said it was very controlling, which Franklin hates.
Reminds me of when marlo on The Wire told all the plugs "the price of the brick going up" they all had that shocked looked on their faces.
@@th3rd3arplan3tradio Great reference bro. The Wire is just too top tier.
Nothing to do with control. Franklin was getting to comfortable with the other guy because he was getting financial gain and it was making franklin sloppy.

I still think he's just the boy trying to impress his father honestly
I think they were referring to reed
@@faithfletcher2365 me too bro. Reeds mom left them at a young age and his father treated him like crap, thought he was a failure, him and Matt talk about it in the bar in Panama. And his dad makes fun of his cia job "pushing paper's" when he visits. When he kills the cia agent he says "its not because you insulted me its because your bad at a your job" but Grady oh so obviously struck a nerve talking about his dad. I still feel Reed is just seeking approval, the cia boss even used that by saying "the president thinks your doing great work" or along those lines. To make him feel accomplished
@@ItsSamMann you not lyin , when Teddy came back for Grady, Reed also claimed not to take it personally, one of the biggest concerns is what is Franklin going to do against Teddy. He killed Franklin's dad Alton snd It's not like Franklin can just one shot him either, because if he was to kill Teddy he would have the wrath of the entire agency on top of the powers that be 🤔 all of the crimes Franklin did Teddy knows what can he do ?
@@ItsSamMann Makes sense to me now because I was kinda lost into why Teddy is so thirsty to get back in the "operation" so bad, and I've felt that him being in that realm of drug smuggling, I guess he felt some type of Control & empowerment because he's pretty much been a pushover in the real world. I just don't understand why he's so possessive with Franklin? Why not find someone else?
Franklin is just smart. It's getting to the point where Teddy won't be able to keep up with him and Franklin calls Checkmate. Not once did I think he had a gun in the cigar box lol!

That's what Teddy said in the finale, but this scene had some crazy foreshadowing. Teddy was always going to snake Franklin in the end. Franklin wasn't paying attention. Teddy disposed of Grady and told Franklin to sell Grady's house and to "give me the money." Once Franklin realized that Teddy *would* "recover" his assets, Franklin should have contemplated whether or not Teddy *could* recover his millions of dollars into those offshore banks.

@The Legendary One Lmao incorrect teddy aint Freddy Kruger
jthrillz: For what we knew year ago, this wasn't a bad prediction, but watching it with the benefit of hindsight, the foreshadowing in this scene was crazy.
Franklin wasn't paying attention. Teddy disposed of Grady for getting sloppy, and then Teddy told Franklin to sell Grady's house and give him the cash. It was a failure of imagination on Franklin's part to not contemplate that Teddy could and would clean out his accounts to "recover" assets for the war in Nicaragua.

I took as Franklin fanning weakness in the same manner as him walking with a cane for almost all of Season 4. Teddy might think he's got Saint back under his control, but Franklin always has a Plan B. Believe that...
Teddy has a soft spot for Franklin and Gustavo, part of it is him and his need to be in control of the operation the other is knowing without him they are both being lead astray and closer to being compromised, they immediately accepted him when he returned and that showed a major amount of respect
Yeah I don’t think means them harm he’s just going thru something right now but it’s 50/50 for me

He exerts influences on people from street thugs and junkies in Los Angeles all the way up to sadistic juvenile delinquent billionaires that command armies of sadistic killers in countries stretching to the Andes mountains in South America and every country in between. He also efficiently takes care of disposal of any of these people PERSONALLY AND EFFECTIVELY if he needs to. God, I love this show. Season 3 was a masterpiece.
Teddy didn’t like the fact that Grady got him into Real estate and took money etc…imo that gave away franklins girl..She’s into real estate knows franklins business and not only does she know grady and he knows her Grady put her on. Teddy sounds so weird here.
I’m trying to figure out why he exposed himself to him as Teddy as if he wants Franklin to trust him so he can rock him to sleep…
But franklin already knows his real name cuz Alton told him last season finale....

@@stephonjr1833 I think he trying to make him comfortable so he can rock him

It’s more a thing for the audience than for Franklin. Think about it, when he was Reed Thompson he came across as someone who was Franklin’s partner and even possibly a friend to a certain extent. This whole scene is to showcase that the relationship they previously had is completely gone. Teddy’s character since season 1 basically showed you he is one of those army guys that gets obsessed with being a hero and being a part of a mission more than he likes his own family and this is just culmination of that. After everything, he’s lost his family, and his brother to this mission. He literally just has this which is what Grady was getting at before Reed killed him. The “you can call me Teddy” is a affirmation to not only Franklin but us as the audience that the games are over and in a way Franklin really is meeting Teddy for the first time and basically saying this is who Teddy is at his core.
i like Teddy
Teddy is just the best character in the series hands down
I think Gustavo was the best character and he was the only one out of all the bums he had around him who he could trust:
If u really look at it teddy is the Franklin but jus white. If he feels any sign of a threat, he eliminates the competition
He still trying to do business with the man after he killed his father like it's not going to come out. When you work with a snake expect to be bit and that's going to be Franklin, his associates, and Gustavo's downfall.
franklin knows teddy killed alton, he’s just playing along for right now
What is teddy plans? What's his angle?
Control and power
After last nights episode teddy ain’t feeling too tough 😮 hahahahahaha
Now this is a very awkward situation for Franklin Saint. The Man who killed his father for basically snitching has returned and he is ready to get bacc in business. I know Franklin wasn't expecting this. I'm not a big fan of Teddy, but I do see things from his point of view. He is just reminding Franklin that business has to move forward without Grady. Alton got too beside himself and thought he could take on the CIA and nothing would happen. He started acting high and mighty like he was saving everybody from the drugs flooding the streets. It just pushed him away from his family and got him killed. Franklin is no Saint. However, Alton didn't consider the danger he was putting his family in by being big headed and wanting to broadcast the dirt Franklin and Teddy was into. It might not be right and yeah, the CIA did flood the ghetto with dope, but with your son being the kingpin under the CIA, you have to think about how you're going to go about exposing things. Maybe if Alton took a different approach, he may still be alive.......
Good morning. We have seen all of Reed/Teddy victims who were killed except for.........Alton is still alive. In episode 2 when Reed met with his contact the man said "The asset (Franklin) is not going to be happy knowing what you did to his Dad in Cuba." Reed said "I don't know what you are talking about." That was the clue.

Teddy: "I know that you like Grady"
"I know that he IS easy to be around, that's his job"
"Make you like him. Make you trust him. Make you think that he's looking out for you."
"I'm saying he makes some really poor choices"
"Look, I get it. I know that at the time it probably seemed like a really good idea. If you're entwined in legitimate business, he's more inclined to protect you, look after you, all that.
