In this episode everyone close to him left him. Franklin dropping the cane signifies that he can stand on his own two feet without any help. He's on his own now and he's cool with that.
Perfect
Yes! This is it chief! *ding ding
👏👏👏
The cane also signifies that the people around Franklin were crippling him.
Ma dude gonna really be a savage now that no one can hold him back. I think Leon saying he wanted out disappointed him so bad that I don't think he'll ever risk his business for anyone ever again.
"Best not underestimate Saint. Boy's brain still work, that's problem enough."
- Manboy
And he died by his own code

One of the best characters.
Manboy was my dude. That's a real G talking shit after getting shot.
They done turned my boy Franklin into a monster.
He's been a monster, they all are.
Kicked the homeless people out the shelter 💀
The best scene in the series. He’s totally possessed and That nigga came back like candy man at the end. It’s showing how Franklin has gone completely dark . He even gave that cross a weird look.
Skully just came to the hospital to avenge his families death and then dies at the hospital. Then Franklin shows up at the hospital talking business. Franklins at the hospital like “yeah whatever anyways we gone get these keys now” lmao and his uncles like naw man Get out of here. But on the other hand his moms a g and exactly like him. Maybe she even set his dad up at the end? His mom took that library from those poor people and gave it to a wealthy real estate mogul lmao.
Franklins a pure capitalist. Now when he started walking normal at the end,That made me think about the ending to usual suspects. Was he gaming everyone with the Cain in the first place?
@@lowery27 If you notice, Mel is the one that shot him and had walking with a cane and a limp. He left the cain with her and walked out normally on his own to symbolize, that what she did to him doesn't affect him anymore.
@@lowery27 it was never said that skully died tho. And at louies club they said they made peace with skully and his neighborhood , so if he died how would they do that
Man Franklin leaving his cane on the chair, letting Mel know that those gun shots didn’t do shit to him. Straight boss
The way he pops up on people. When he call their names. They be shitting themselves. Lol
Cuz they know he mean biness (Franklin voice)
He’s the grim reaper

Leaving that Cane behind was a Classic Moment.
I dont get it, explain it.
Without giving no spoilers away the last time he seen Melody wasn't a good encounter. So Franklin leaving the cane behind I guess that means I'm more stronger now. Or I'm doing just fine.
@@donsan6404 he was faking needing that cane for a while to appear weak.

@@tapset like dude in usual suspect.
This really is the last we see of the “old Franklin.” After this he’s got facial hair, he’s more muscular, and he’s more confident and ruthless. Franklin truly became stronger and left the old Franklin with that cane.
💯 😂. I thought I was the only one who caught that. He looked more mature in season 5 then he did in the previous seasons. But maybe that's cause the time gap between 4 and 5 is 3 yrs
@@peterteba3891
The time gap between Seasons 4-5 is actually just a year and a half. Franklin saying he’s 24 in Season 5 is a continuity error. When he is talking to V about his stolen money, the calendar shows it’s currently September 1986. The events of Season 4 take place in Dec 1984 - Feb 1985.
@@heroinvrxther5826 are u sure? Cause every character looked older apart from reed. Franklin,Leon, jerome and louie had all gone some sort of character change compared to season 4. They were all different in season 5
@@peterteba3891a year and a half is enough for character change tho wym
I have a feeling he’s been faking playing weak and hurt and just watching everyone moves you can heal but hell he healed in one scene and lost his limp that fast LOL
Yessir he was playing all they ass now he see how they really feel but he really keep them on top they’ll all fall off without Franklin
Knowing him probably just to see who would fold or switch on him but everybody is talking different about the game now too
"Get off ur lil chest" 😆 🤣 so petty
He's probably not fully healed im pretty sure if you punch him in body he'll fall down and cry like a baby
I think he was able to say the cane down the episode fatback died cause did y’all peep how fast he started walking to his body
His opponents play checkers but all along Franklin was playing chess and moving vital pieces on the board to win the game of life
They turned this man into a monster
Yeah definitely. he uses people like chess pieces. He sizes people up by the value they can bring. He knew that his gf was foul in ep 4 where he didn’t answer and gave a look when asked if he trusted her. he kept her around long enough where he could use her and he found a very good way to utilize her.
You shol right checkmate
This aged well huh 😂
People like Franklin never win any game called life. Psychos can't understand. You can't be an evil MF and think you're gonna win anything in the end but pain.
Look if Damson Idris don't win a Emmy or Golden Globe for this scene!!! It will be a crying Shame.
You could feel the intensity between the two in this scene. Mel holding her breath threw the whole Exchange.
While Saint gives a stern warning what may happen to her if she cross him again. She didn't exhale till he was damn near out the door. Wow what a scene. My favorite scene of the episode!!!
Mel thought she was about to see Jesus😂
“Hey Mel” her body stiffened up
When he admitted to killing andre without saying yes just a little head nod 😭😭😭😭😭
I don’t know why but I feel like Franklin is gonna be a different breed next season. I’m lowkey scared of him now😂😂
every time i see mel i just get so sad. she had the world in her hands. the literal world. she saw how messed up wanda was on crack but still smoked it with her. like girl?
I agree so silly
@Higher Image Status Not by age, but by knowledge is wisdom required...
This is why I think it is best to just walk away from people without any heads up and or they'll try that crab in the bucket mentality.
U got ig?
@Him Times10 lmfao why are you so mad? she still smoked crack with wanda lmfaoooo regardless. she did it with the guy the first time
The way Saint delivered, “No more chances.” So chilling. This brother is a true thespian 🔥
He sounded like the devil
The way Franklin opens with the " Hey Mel" and seeing her reaction lol😂😂😂
Mel with that party city wig is killing me 😂😂😂😂😂
Damn, this scene was powerful. Franklin ain't playing. But she now knows he killed her dad. He looked at her and nodded a yes. And walked off leaving his troubles behind
If the lapd couldn’t prove it how can she that’s my only question
She already knew he killed Andre, she just wanted to hear it from him. She wouldn’t have tried to kill him before if she didn’t think that
I’m glad he didn’t say it
@@outtahere1456 she might wear wire next time
She been knew and he know she know.
Mel played her hand. She should’ve never asked Franklin to admit he killed her father. Franklin now knows without the reporter, and her not even 100% sure he killed her father, he will forever hold power over her.
This wasn’t Franklin going to set things straight. This was a power trip. Franklin went to someone he knew he’ll always have control over. He’s not sweating his team leaving him because he know in the end he’s the one in control.
Great point.👏👏
I always wondered why he didn't fess up That's a good explanation
He did. He shook his head yes
Incredible ending. Shot out to the ENTIRE cast of Snowfall. Season 5 going be crazy. Lucia is coming back, and I have a feeling Mel is not done with the Saint.
Didnt Lucia get smoked in the earlier season?
@@geraldking9385 nah.
@@KiarRushing shoot I must be confusing the characters, I thought she got setup by her cousin and they put her in the grave or something, what happened to her last scene?

I always thought that Franklin used that cane to make his enemies think he was weak to underestimate him whole time he was baiting them into taking back his territories.
The fact that he pulled a Kaiser Soze was mind blowing. If anything, he was probably healed up for a good while, but kept playing the role.
Coldest scene... The cane symbolizes his crutch or need for people, now my boi Franklin finna be ruthless
They Wrong For Giving Mel That Big Ass Wig🤣🤣🤣
Frfr.
The way his silhouette was darkened in the doorway next to the cross under the exit sign is demonic asf. Symbolism
Explain.....I wanna know!
@@superkato17 I personally think the cross is representing what people usually think of God such as purity while Franklin represents what people normally associate with evil. Franklin is the complete opposite of that cross based on what he’s done and what he continues to do.
@@marcalinogallegos4898 oh ok!
This whole scene was just classic and full of symbols. From Franklin coming in appearing as a dark figure by the cross to him leaving the cane behind. Snowfall is one of the greatest shows to be created
They way he put the Cane Down and started Walking Normal Priceless!!!!
The best part
It reminded of Kaiser Sosay character in the movie "Usual Suspects". Franklin Saint is on a whole new level. He put that weakness aside and the strength came out. Mel got nervous when he stopped walking ok. Her whole body language was priceless!!! Mel was shook, probably thought he was going to shoot her. You go Franklin. Leaving the cane doesn’t only signify that he is strong enough now, not needing to appear weak, and him being on his own. But more than that, she put him in use of that cane when she shot him, most of all that cane was specifically meant for her
Well look at Franklin now
Its ABSOLUTELY crazy to me how these British actors hide their accents.
I think he did knew he can walk since the beginning of this season and he planned to let go of the cane for Mel to show her you thought u got me type of thing u know
I Don’t Want Everybody Thinking I Got Something Wrong With Me - Franklin MF Saint

The acting the camera angles the music this show 10/10

I get the theory but this is in 1984 fam, they not exactly selling wire up equipment over the counter at this time lol
@@SithLordNefaar022 thank you! I'm so sick of this "she might be wearing a wire" theory. She haven't seen him in WEEKS-MONTHS but somehow she knew he was going to come THIS day, at THIS time, so she called the cops to help her wire up?! Really? That girl did not have a wire on. He didn't admit to it because he doesn't want to give her the satisfaction that she's "not crazy" and he doesn't want to risk what would happen if she had actual proof that he killed Andre. Now she has to walk around constantly wondering was she just grasping at straws with her theory that Frank killed her father OR did she shoot Frank for no real reason. It's the perfect torture.
Remember season 1
