This is how I used to practice using big intervals in my solos.

Great lesson! Probably the most practical and useful approach to intervals I've ever seen.

Claus you are always an inspiration! I linked this video to my "We Guitar" Facebook page, because it's just so important for my students to understand this. Thank you for all of your content. You are truly one of the best on youtube, I always come away with a restoked fire to play and learn when I watch your videos, and I pray to God I am able to inspire that in my own students. I pray that you are blessed beyond reason, my good man.

Excellent lesson for me as in East Indian music, the melody is the king. So this lesson lends to me play interludes in many different ways. Thank you Claus for this outstanding lesson.

Uncanny timing. I discovered a little corner of this just a week ago and it's made a huge difference in my confidence and enthusiasm for practice. Your expansion of the subject is exactly what I needed next. Thanks

Great lesson Claus! This is an area I definitely need to work on. While I don't tend to simply play through the scale shapes like you have cautioned against (up and down sequentially). I do have a bad habit of playing the intervals in a rather predictable way. This definitely gives me some great ideas.
