      Hi! If you want to spin a product on a table, I would buy a „lazy susan“. It’s basically a turning surface where you can put a plate of acrylic glass on and place your object on it.

      I used a Canon RF 35mm f1.8 for most of the shots. But in the end I switched to the RF 15-35 mm because I tried a wider field of view and found it easier to focus.

    What should camera settings .
    Shutter speed
    Iso
    Aperture

      I used 24fps, shutter speed of 1/50, Iso 100 aperture f1.8 (the last one is the first section of the video). But these values highly vary depending on what you film. Other products may require 120fps and 12.800 ISO. Can't give general tips here because it really depends. But at least I always try to keep an 180 Degree shutter angle.

      This was filmed on the Canon EOS R in CLog. I always film in LOG-profiles on all of my cameras since this gives me the most flexibility and dynamic range

    Can I use also a budget overhead light to make a product video?

      Of course you can, the price isn’t that important when it comes to lighting. Just male sure it’s not flickering and you get the look you want. Most of the tiles I would suggest to use a big lightsource, which means you should diffuse your light somehow (as I did with the softbox)

    What slider do you have?

      I have a 80cm slider from a company called „A&J Pro“. Very cheap and not really good

      To be fair. The slider is not the best I‘ve used but it is very cheap as well. Basically it does what it should but the initialization of it at the beginning of every shoot is quite cumbersome
