- System Test 30 is here! Basic idea on display for this video; as I said, this is just to break the silence a little bit, let everyone know I'm still alive and stuff. Hopefully you all enjoy, I know there are some who aren't fans of systems with all electronic horns, don't worry though, that'll change in System Test 31!

Something I want to note as an aside here. UA-cam updated the way monetization works in that it is no longer possible to specify which types of ads appear on videos. Previously, I would deliberately disable non-skippable video ads (yeah, in case you didn't know, if you came across those on a monetized channel, it was because that creator made you have to sit through them, they could've turned them off). However, it is no longer possible to do this, which I honestly find absolutely infuriating.
As someone who wants at least a half-decent viewing experience for everyone, I think stripping uploaders of the ability to disable non-skippable ads was a rather atrocious and skeevy move on UA-cam's part, shame on them.

Bro unintentionally pulled a NewAgeServerAlarm and made Test 30 almost half a year after Test 29. lol jk! But in all seriousness, great to see this finally being done. I honestly don’t care about how long it takes you to make these videos since they’re always worth the wait in my opinion!

People who are suffering from extreme anxiety triggered by fire alarm may be my worst nightmare. The sound is so good! Amazing video btw
I've heard several accounts of folks who have fire alarm-related anxiety watching people's system test videos and fire drill videos as a means of self-treatment, apparently it works pretty well.
That was me yesterday I got so triggered, but I talk to my counselor and I feel much better.
To be honest, that NS on march time sounds kind of awesome. Also the MT and Commander 3 together caught me off guard because those are the two alarms I currently own.

After months System Test 30 has came
The MTs in March time reminded me of the elementry school by my house that went off one time with an Integrity on code 3 as usual. I would say this is the test I like electronic horns on.

Also I think you should just take the strobe off of the MT so it would be more of a remote horn than a broken horn-strobe; you could even use it on a 2903 or 4903

Ps. what camera do you use currently to film these particular videos?
This particular system test was recorded in a 2007 Sony Handycam HDR-CX7.
Other tests though, I've used a variety of cameras and camcorders, including a Handycam HDR-CX230, HDR-CX240, HDR-CX130, and a Panasonic DMC-LX10.

A question for you frosted, have you ever thought about doing an entire system full of either.. edward's pre-integrities, Simplex 4901-9219's, or Siemens U-HN-S17's? (I think thats the model number for the mechanical variant)
I think either of these would be really nice to see! Yes, I know you don't have enough or any of these devices currently, but figured I'd suggest this because these are my top 3 favorite alarms (Wheelock 7002 / 7002t being part of my top 5 but you already did a system test with these sort of)

@@FrostedStrobesSimple? dude i couldnt even imagine doing that. How do you get relays to do code 3/4? is there some kind of customization with relays?
That's where the simple part comes in, code 3 is driven by a System Sensor sync module, and code 4-4 is from a 4-4 code wheel attached to a motor, the notches press a button as it spins.
That being said, there *are* ways to make that happen with relays, but it would take quite a few of them and some other miscellaneous extra things.

Idea for system test 31: Bedroom: Wheelock 34T-24 | Office: keep the remote strobe | Bathroom: keep the remote light | I guess the upstairs room: Simplex 2901-9833 On a Simplex 2903-9001 | Basement: Simplex 2901-9806 | Edward’s Adapdahorn. If you don’t have an Adapdahorn that’s okay. You could use one of your bells instead!
The closest thing that he has to a 9806 is the 450D

Next system test I want the wheelock 46t-g6-24-ws by the stars and by the panel is going to be the another bell and by the basement stairs is going to be a wheelock MT and the by the back yard will be the wheelock miz and in the kitchen will be the wheelock 7002t and in the little room that you had the LED strobe will be the wheelock Mt strobe
Horn & pull station request for system test 32, In the bedroom, for the horn is a simplex 2903 light plate with a 20901 9838 behind it and for the pull station, an, FCI MC2.
