That smug DM face during the botched arrest was priceless. You could practically hear Merchant wondering how long he could keep stringing the players along.
10 out of 10. So glad I finally got the time to sit down and binge this. Congrats Merchant this is really amazing.

I am very happy to have stumbled upon this wonderful campaign. I just started getting into D&D and it's nice to see a great story with people having fun together. I look forward to watching all of the videos and listening to the podcasts on my commutes.

I've bin so busy making my own campaign and Homebrew 3rd party class I havent had time to just enjoy a good game of D&D and its story so THIS is a refreshing and much needed escape from that creative mentality

This was so good! I love how well thought-out this quest is! They sent a bunch of newbies into this mission because all the normal sentinels would have raised suspicion! So good!
Took me about 10 minutes, realized Ollie's voice sounds a bit like Joe Wilkinson 😆 loving this adventure, PCs are great, DM is amazing!

Hey, In episode one and here I never heard: What actually are the Sentinels?
Why are they called black blades as slang?(mentioned the one commander hated being called a black blade)
Why is the Silver island Isolated? What is the academy actually training people for?
The players seem to know but I feel like I'm missing context.

1) likely a military/political group to balance the nations of the world
2) Black Blade is a reference to a planeswalker from magic the gathering, and the sword he wields
3) likely to stop prying eyes from varying nations and to help prevent potential open attacks on the Academy

I'm sad the Curse of Strahd was abandoned but seeing as how it was a super hard campaign and you lost your paladin (and bard), I understand. However I would love if you guys gave it another shot.
