I had my 2024 Renegade XRS 900 Turbo R tuned at Accelerated Technologies a couple of weeks ago, all springs and flash done. While I liked the stock flash the new flash is so much more comfortable as well as useful. My first ride was in rapid fire chop and it blew me away!
I am curious whick works better, Elka's(or Pro 40) all the way around, or the new Smart Shox? Can some one who is comfortable fiddling with clickers get a better ride/set up than the Smart Shox?
Other can chime in but I think it will be hard to beat the electronics. If someone is good with setups and understands what’s going on they should be able to achieve great results. Assuming the shocks are working in their “window”. With the Smats they will perform better for most who aren’t suspension gurus assuming they are in their operational “window” too. Carburetor or EFI, is a good analogy!
Hey Jeff Liked the Smart shocks information when i ask people out on trails all i hear is awsome hit that ravine at 100mph didn’t feel a thing. Ok now i know ur full of it only a air plain could go over that ditch or ravine without feeling anything lol!! I feel the same way about cats ATAK settings stiff is to stiff soft not soft enough. Not terrible bad or anything but something could be better. I ride cats mainly but father has doos and really like both im not brand stupid but loyal yes i am. Cat helped me out sponsored me when nobody else really would during my race career. One thing iv always loved about cat is there racer support program its like no other so im loyal for that. Im a honest man give everyone a chance along with most anything. If i ride a sled dont matter the name if i like something or dont ill give a honest answer or opinion. EFI is great but its definitely more complicated and expensive than tuning a carburetor. Remember the days buying triple pipes for my Polaris jets and clutch components around maybe $500 for 20 + hp lol!! I could tune without breaking the bank. But some of todays sleds with lot of aftermarket support is nice easy enough and not to bad on ur checking account. Like Say a thundercat with good tune don’t get much easier to make some serious dependable power. Anyway really enjoyed the show this morning was just what i needed to get my mind off my rat terrier JAX that we unfortunately lost early Friday morning. Thanks for all the hard work and being there for us snowmobilers. Looks like winter is done here in upstate NY so really looking forward to the next STV episode. Worst winter i can remember been watching as much as i can on UA-cam to help get my fix lol!!

nice video. I flashed my shocks but have yet to try them. Will need to order the dual rate springs for next season

I've also installed the flash and dual rate setup! It's night and day! And understeer is gone!!
