Love the picot edging, definitely want to try this method. Your thread is so well behaved. Mine grabs on to everything it can! LOL.

I have been watching every week. This week I was a bit disappointed. I was looking forward to seeing how Jody was going to treat the pendant part of her pin back. And she alluded to showing us then just skipped over. I have seen many a vid adding just a pin back but never the combo pin.
If you have the footage it might be nice to release it or at least post it as a new vid clip.

Hi Tia. Thank you for watching. We're not sure what you mean. Jody explained the placement of the pinback for use as a pendant (top, not the bottom of the piece) and she teaches you how to create that picot edging whether you're using it as a pendant or brooch. If using the piece as a pendant, simply complete the backing as she teaches and string chain through the bail of the pinback combo.

Thank you for your response. The info I was referring too occurs at about 4:22 in the vid. In this case the bail does not stick out over the top of the beadwork. Jody says she will show how to deal with the bail. But in editing that was cut out.

Hi Tia. Jody revisits that at 15:53 towards the end of the video. Hope that helps.

Disappointed in this one. The broach had no stabilizing making the edge and beading too flexible and unstable and no gluing around the full brooch back. Poorly finished. I admire Jody’s work, especially with her gorgeous textures but I would not buy this brooch.

This was a harsh comment and I apologize. Jody is a phenomenal bead artist and I admire her creativity so much. Again apologies.😞
