Very clear and good demonstration. He makes good and big movements, great footwork and taisabaki and irimi.

it's interesting that he put his index finger in a very dangerous position :-(

aikido is not about a finger here or a hand there, its all about footwork, hips, the center.
Please pay attention to his excellent footwork, his taisabaki.

Why is the portrait of Morihei Ueshiba up there?
This has no relation with his art called Aikido

Ehi guillemin, that is not kotegaeshi of the founder. Kotegaeshi mean turn of the hand.

The way he does it is very common with Japanese Aikikai aikidokas.
I also was explained that kote gaeshi means turning of the hand, but it also can mean turning of the lower arm, kote refering to the part of your arm below your elbow.

@@yoshimitsu72 And what exactly is "the Founders aikido"? Is it Daito Ryu Aiki Jujutsu? Or the Yoshinkan aikido? Or the Iwama aikido from Saito ?
And Aikikai is not the aikido from the Founder, perhaps? And if the founder himself developed aikido from the old style daito ryu techniques to the softer and circular aikido in his later life, what exactly is that "aikido of the founder"?
The aikido teacher in this clip is a student of Tissier, who gets his dan degrees directly from the Ueshiba family, who is a shihan of Aikikai.
Ladtly, if you dont like this aikido, why the negative comment? you can make a technical comment about a technique, thatis fair, but an unfounded negative opinion , is not.

@@yoshimitsu72 Bro, that is one style of the founder in one certain stage of his life. Saito did a good job preserving that. But in his last years in old clips of OSensei you can clearly see OSensei already made Aikido circular and the style that Doshu continued.
After teaching Aikido to Saito, time didnt stop, bro. OSensei kept developing Aikido. And so should we. Practise toaday's Aikido, not Yesterday's Aikido.
Osensei made the concepts and laid the basics. we should make our own way within this framework.
The FORD T has developed through time into modern cars. Only a fool would say "the Ford T is the only real car."
