    Many people say aikido is useless.
    I work in a federal prision. Please Take my word, it is awesome.

      unfortunately, many people don't know how to apply the core principles of aikido (neither the "martial" nor "spiritual" side). they only see and/or remember the outer forms.

    I always love watching how Christian Tissier move. It's like you see a Yin Yang logo. Blending and make a circle to diffuse uke's energy. Everything looks so easy on him :).

      can you use it on street for self defense or is it more ART ?

      +Gustav Gans All though Tissier Sensei spenda a great effort in interdisciplinary exchange as training with high level jujitsu or karate people and therefore looks for an unbroken logic and aplication, I think the martial art is central.

    what is indeed unique in aikido is that its principles apply on every martial art and its top down approach does benefit every martial artist

      me too..
      gear was bad distance far and a lot of aircon ventiation, so even with reducing the hum no chance.
      Have a lok at the video from this year, used a stereo shotgun mic this time:

    He's not actually throwing the person. They are rolling over for him. I'm not saying the technique won't break someone's arm, but the whole "throwing" thing makes it look fake.

    • @AikinomichiWien
      @AikinomichiWien  4 роки тому +6

      Your observation is right. But they fall not for him, they cancel the technik and make it ineffective in falling in the right moment - not to early not toolate. That is the concept in Aikido.

    Hallo Bernhard, wieder mal ein super gemachtes video. Für meinen Geschmack ein bisschen zu lang. Aber trotzdem, bei all den Aikidofilmern die so unterwegs sind sind, sind eure Produktionen ganz weit vorne. Wenn nicht sogar die Spitze vom Eisberg. ;-)

      Max Eriksson Ohlwein Danke Max. Bei Christan eher 12-15 Minuten, da, wie die bisherigen Videos gezeigt haben, Leute, die an solchen Lehrgängen nicht teilnehmen können, sich für Details interssieren .

    This is pretty. I'll think about this the next time a bad guy hold his hand out for me to grab...
